Very good breakfast, well-kept rooms and impressive roof terrace. All in all, the hotel close to the centre is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the dinner on New Year's Eve was of lower quality despite high prices: tough beef fillet and dry side dishes! A complaint had no effect. What a pity! Otherwise, the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Great location, nice staff, clean and well decorated.

Nice hotel with a very good location in Madrid. From the first minute to the last, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an experience in itself due to the table service and the intimate atmosphere. The room was spotless and comfortable. As a bonus there is the roof terrace where you can enjoy food, drinks and pleasant music from 5 pm to 1 am in a very relaxed way. I would definitely recommend Vincci The Mint to others and would stay again on a return visit to Madrid.

A totally magnificent hotel at the vivid center of Madrid, beautifully decorated (including a rooftop restaurant with a food truck! ), serving a truly sumptuous breakfast that never ends. Great rooms with excellent bathrooms, and the best service one can require.
We also recommend the next door restaurant “Mercado de la Reina” that serves food to die for in a great ambience.

The receptionist so nice and helpful. They have full of passion.

A delightful hotel, with comfortable rooms and hospitable, multilingual staff. The bar doubles as the reception which can be slightly confusing (go into the main area and turn left — the near end of the bar is the reception). The meals were enjoyable too and that also is provided in the front bar area. A very good use of the slightly limited space. The bar itself is very well stocked. Upstairs is much more spacious and spreadout. Clearly they have alot of the upper floors but less of the ground. The room was a good size and very pleasant. And a nice touch was each morning the lift mirrors were decorated with a motivational morning message. Overall a very lovely stay.

The hotel is right in the heart of central Madrid. The staff speak English very well and all menus are available in English. The hotel breakfast is excellent and so is the tapas on the rooftop. Rooms are clean and relatively quiet. Wi-Fi is ok at best.

Excellent city hotel 4* located on Gran Vía (number 10, hitting the Cibeles fountain). With a situation wonderful is a very attractive option for stay. With a modern décor, daring and unique, the lobby and the terrace are presented as “places of social gathering”, where customers and non customers of the hotel are to talk and drink something. Although it is a hotel, its public open spaces are frequented by tourists (especially the terrace bar). It is the 2nd time I stay at the hotel and, like the first, everything has been perfect. Comfort, cleanliness, peace of mind and treatment fantastic staff of the hotel. It has become my hotel of reference in Madrid. — STAFF: it is extraordinary. Receptionists and bartenders show their best version, and make the stay much more pleasant. Given a welcome drink upon check-in (to take in the hall or on the terrace) and a bottle of water for the trip to the check-out. Without a doubt, two details of thank. — ROOMS: modern and spacious. In my case, I chose the deluxe double room and was great. Bathroom very complete with shower (amenities, hair dryer and bathrobe). Coffee maker and plasma tv. Had a bottle of water as welcome gift waiting for me with a welcome card. Very comfortable bed size kingsize, and a pillow menu. — BREAKFAST: it is buffet, but a la carte. Is served in the hall and in a “newspaper” is the letter of the breakfast.

It’s a hidden gem in the middle of Madrid, very cute rooftop with a hipster/street vibe. The view is not the best but it’s so comfortable and relaxing to be there. Wine is about 5€, a cocktail about 15€ this are average prices for any rooftop in downtown Madrid.

Amazing hotel! lovely, friendly and caring staff. The atmosphere is chic-elegant. The rooms are great with appealing deign, comfortable bed and beautiful golden bathroom. The breakfast is delicious and highly recommended as well as the rooftop bar. Definitely will come back.

This is a very central hotel. There's so many staff that work here that I can't remember names, but the receptionist that checked us in was very friendly. Asked if we'd like to upgrade to a terrace room and although I don't usually upgrade, I thought why not. (Definitely upgrade/book a room with a terrace) It was really nice to sit and have a beer while admiring the view. Staff speak very good English, so this isn't something to worry about. Breakfast was fast and the orange …juice is very good. The only downside would be the fact that construction going on, however they are mindful to do later in the evening (painting and decorating) Although on one instance they started hammering pretty loudly in the morning. Overall this is a very good hotel; central and very clean (bumped into the housekeeping a couple of times and they were very polite. ) I would stay again.

My favorite hotel in Madrid and highly recommended. The rooms size is very good, the service is excellent, and the people in the reception are very friendly and helpful. The green theme and the smell of the Mint is very nice and special. Location is great especially if you're in Madrid for leisure. Just one point the breakfast place can be a little crowded sometimes.

This hotel is very conveniently located in central Madrid. We faced Gran Via and we didn't hear any street noise — very high quality windows. The reception staff couldn't be friendlier or more attentive — perfect! Close to old town plazas as well as newer part of Madrid. Would definitely recommend!

Good place to eat. The chef is very good and it is a luxury to be in full Gran via. Upstairs there is a terrace with good views. The food cost us €40 and the drinks between 10 and €15

Hotel is very nice. The bar at the ground floor is cool. Breakfast is a la carte — perhaps a bit slow if you're in a hurry. Rooms are not that big but cozy — bathroom is luxurious.

Love the quirky hip vibe of this place located centrally in Madrid close to the museums, chueca and the metro. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful I would come come back. The rooms were clean comfy and large.

What a great gem in the heart of Madrid, walking distance to the Thyssen, Prado and Reina Sofia museums, and to some incredible food across the street (La Primera restaurant), also walk to Chueca, Malasaña and other fun barrios, the staff was courteous, knowledgeable and the rooms large, comfy and cool with the green theme throughout.

Lovely hotel, great beds, good breakfast and friendly staff. We had a room in 1st floor on streetside but no noise problems. Windows are good soundproof. Recomenable if you want to stay in the centre of Madrid.

Great hotel, very well located, tastefully decorated rooms, super comfortable beds. The roof terrace with the food truck. Simply spectacular. The breakfast is tremendous, the presentation, variety and quality are excellent. But above all, the employees, each and every one of them lovely! This hotel is beautiful. The decor is elegant and the staff are extremely helpful. The food is lovely. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is that I would have preferred to have a kettle in my room rather than a coffee maker. I'm a tea drinker and coffee makers do not produce a good cup of tea. I would definitely recommend Vincci The Mint to others and would stay there again.

Superlative. My parents stayed here for a week and I visited several times, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Miles better than my comparatively priced hotel. Would stay here next time.

Location, aesthetics, uniqueness everything is in this Hotel. Located in a prime area and with vintage exterior and cool and calm interior this Hotel is brilliant. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Would recommend!

Cheap but strange rooms.

Great well located hotel. I had a guest stay there and it is perfect center town location is ideal for night life. It has a beautiful penthouse terrace. They don't serve lunch but they do have a beautiful menu for tapas and the Quinoa Risotto is stunning. Old look updated feel modern touch just a perfect getaway hotel.

New Concept Hotel. For example: "Misleading" input (the walls are carpeted with liquor bottles), "Multifunctional" reception desk (in one desk there is also the bar) and "widespread" breakfast (wherever there is a table comes the service and you order what you want as many times as you want and until 2pm and good quality food). The rooms have just been renovated and the green color is the master. Great location: Equidistant between the historic, commercial and artistic centre of Madrid. And the whole price is contained. Recommended.

Great deal on behalf of the staff. The rooms are comfortable and nothing noisy. The breakfast, buffet-style à la carte, is very very good, with a huge variety of cafes and sweet and savoury dishes that you can repeat to infinity. On Sunday, they serve breakfast until 2 pm, which can be perfectly converted into a brunch.

Pretty great overall. Competitive prices, great location and luxurious rooming and accommodations. Nitpicking: They advertise a free "cocktail" when checking in, which sounds neat, but it's just a little pineapple juice type shot, nothing to advertise/get excited about (plus, no one offers this to you, you have to request, which again seems silly for something advertised as a perk). They also can run out of robes/slippers etc, and when supplies get low, you don't get them unless you ask. Lastly, the bar prices are ridiculously high. €12 for Whiskey? I'm used to high-end bar prices, but that's just silly.

Trendy, posh hotel right on the Calle Gran Via. Great hotel and great location; only giving 4 of 5 stars because there was a strangely bright smoke detector light in our room that kept us awake, and the room coffee situation was awkward — no plug in for the coffee maker, only teeny tiny coffee cups, and I had to ask every day for extra coffee pods. Loved the hotel though and would definitely stay again!

I stayed for 7 nights in this hotel and enjoyed my stay a lot. I did have a problem with my room at some point, and management immediately offered me a different room. Staff was very helpful, and the bar & breakfast area is very cosy and agreeable. Location on the Calle Gran Via means the entire city center is in walking distance. They even had umbrellas for the rainy days. Recommended!

We visited it at Christmas time and we really liked it. We bought a historical card game illustrated by a girl who told us the whole story of her work. We loved it.

I had read many reviews and had been looking for the ideal hotel by the Gran via area, or the centre of Madrid, for a romantic celebration with my partner. In the rest of places people talked about the comfort of the beds, how good the breakfast was, how central it was …, but in the case of the Vincci the Mint, the views focused on how wonderful the "experience" had been. So, it had to be something much more mind-blowing than having a comfy bed or a very good breakfast. The truth is that we have a full right. The location is extraordinary, the atmosphere just getting in already catches you. The decor and the design have a lot of very careful details. It shows the affection put by the team so that the guest is very comfortable. More than recommended.
