Very good location, close to Atocha railway and metro, near Retiro park and 20 mins walk from Puerto del Sol. Nice room, very good double bed, basic equipment. WC has no doors which may be uncomfortable.

Neat, safe and very well located near the Gran Via, Puerta de Alcalá, the bus and Tenes station of Atocha, the Retiro Park, the Prado Museum and Reina Sofía. The best: Your location you can walk very easy to the mentioned sites and many more. It offers free 24-hour cafeteria service (coffee, tea, infusions, hot and cold water, biscuits and some supplies to prepare frozen beverages in summer)

Very well. There's no complaint. Clean, free coffee. If my room was inside but you could hear a little the adjoining room but good was good.

This small boutique hotel is centrally located in Madrid in the Atocha neighborhood. It is a walkable distance to the train station. The rooms are not overly spacious, but they are well-maintained and served the purpose with a very comfortable bed.

The room has a balcony and views to the main street. With a lot of natural light, simple but functional and practical. Very comfortable. The bathroom has a hairdryer. Very clean. You have coffee, tea and biscuits 24h included in the price. They have a very nice upstairs terrace. 5 minutes walk from Atocha. Very polite and friendly staff. There is Wi-Fi.

Amazingly helpful staff. Spotlessly clean rooms and believe me as I am fussy… the best decafe freshly ground coffee available free 24-7. They even found some glue to repair the soles of my walking boots that were coming away! Thanks… great place. ps. There is also a variety of teas, hot chocolate, biscuits and honey!

Clean, economical, small spaces but more than enough staff very friendly does not have breakfast area, but if a coffee area with biscuits available very central recommended.

The space I slept I was very clean and nice. Unfortunately it was the only room left for the night and cost 94€ for the night. I would definitely recommend reserving a room ahead of time to pay less.

Rooms are clean and minimalist. Because of the internal architecture of the building, some double rooms are significantly larger than others. We stayed here twice, and once had the smaller size, and once the larger. Both are workable — especially because you are staying at the hotel to sleep and then get out and see Madrid. The staff members are both friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated a 10 minutes slow walk from the Atocha Station and a 5 minute walk from the Reina Sofia museum. Walking distance to the Prado and Retiro park. Right next to the Lavapies area of Madrid. Lots of good eating spots nearby. If it is cold in Madrid, make sure to turn on the room heater when you return to the room each time you enter the room. The staff says to leave the thermostat alone — but they don't say that you need to turn it on first. This misunderstanding (on my part) led to several very cold mornings. Finally, there is a very good likelihood that we will stay here again if and when we return to Madrid.

The location is the best, the room is good size with minimalist design and very comfortable, excellent cleanliness and everything for a fairly economic price relative to others. For me the best choice of accommodation in Madrid.

Small hotel in a very good location. I stayed here for 3 nights and was able to explore the entire city, including all the sights, on foot. The rooms are simple but clean and modern. The staff are very friendly. I think the free coffee and tea in the entrance area is good — here you have the possibility to have various teas as well as high-quality coffee prepared from a WMF full machine. Wi-Fi is free and fast enough. You don't need a car here — parking is very expensive and difficult in the city. I put my car in a garage nearby. But I recommend everyone to arrive without a car and explore Madrid on foot.

Hotel minimalist. The room, with everything you need, but without going over the… there is no wardrobe, only few hangers, the bathroom is not separated from the rest of the room… and no "amenities". That is, if, the king size bed, the room clean, and in the hall, you can take coffee or herbal tea free at any time.

This hotel is modest but has so much to offer! Close to the main sites to see, the central shopping area, and the Atocha train station. Very friendly staff, great refreshment station in the lobby. Real AC! We loved the beds too.

Very close to Atocha station and most popular museums in the city. Plenty of restaurants around, in the Barrio de las Letras neighbourhood. Nice staff. Cosy and elegant rooms with private bathroom, but no separation between bedroom area and bathroom (just a curtain).

Great location, was able to walk from Atocha station. Room is small, but that'should be expected from a value hotel. The room had a bad smell upon entering, which I believe was due to poor plumbing. There is no bathroom door, just a sliding curtain, so if you or your roommate has to the room will effectively smell the same as the toilet area. Finally, the free 24 hr coffee/hot chocolate/milk/tea station in the lobby was nice.

Very clean. The minimum for sleep. I had single room and it is extremely small. The toilet has no door. You wash your hands practically to the side of the bed. In reception there is coffee, tea and biscuits type Maria for free.

Are not presentable. Have been denied use of the toilet and my wife is pregnant and need to use it. And the receptionist just happens to say "is what you have been told". Inhuman!

It all went well. The hotel has few rooms but they are spacious and cozy. The staff very friendly and helpful, helped us in everything. Finally, no cafe or restaurant, but they offer a coffee machine and snacks free of charge, in self-service.

My partner and I went there last week and our experience couldn't be better. Rafa welcome us friendly and professional, polite and helpful. The room was lovely, clean and with lots of light due to the two balconies we had to Atocha St. We are in love with that big big comfy bed! They helped us in every little thing we needed, even a couple of extra hours waiting in the comfy hall, with tea and cookies, while we were waiting our train from the station down the road.

Nothing too special. Well, it looked really good on the Internet, but it smelled like raw sewer and the washroom didn't have door. But, what can you expect from place uses Basic in it name.

With a modern and minimalist decor, a coffee shop 24 hours without additional costs and a curious breakfast first thing in the morning, which I will not tell because better discover it.

My experience with the Chic hotel was very gratifying, is located in the street atocha to what can come of a long ave trip and relax in this hotel consists of six floors and rooms are spacious, pleasant and very little detail, the price is pretty good, you have from your room more simple impressive room. I recommend a weekend, you liked.

Hotel very well located, in the street Atocha and at good price. Experience can change depending on the room that touch you, but overall okay. Rooms are modern, comfortable bed and have the basics necessary for a pleasant stay. I love the gel/shampoo of the rooms, of better quality than in the majority of hotels in more stars. The only downside I see is that some rooms are a bit old and without maintenance, which can be seen in furniture and floors. At the front desk offered tea and coffee free to guests, a great little detail.

For the price I paid, the hotel is very well. Facilities clean, well located next to the Atocha train station. As the name says okay and it is basic, don't expect a hotel 4 stars because you frustrarás you, but if you are aware that the hotel is a hotel cheap and give you the right service for the price you are paying, I recommend to stay there.

Okay, it's cheap, friendly staff. The room was comfortable, and apart you could serve coffee, tea, chocolate, water, at any time of the day. Pity that the air conditioner will operate regular.

Excellent location for visiting the city located directly on Atocha Street adjacent to Atocha Metro and train station. Close to the bars and discotheques Kapital for the young fun.
