Great little find, in the middle of Madrid all attractions accessible by walking or short taxi ride away, hotel very clean, rooms are tidy and of a good standard, reception very friendly and helpful the rooftop is small but a great little benefit to relaxing after your hectic days full of walking and sight seeing. Food within Madrid is very limited to junk fast food, Plaza Mayor is a little better but still not great and basic meal costing around 40 euros, difficult to get a Yorkshire tea here also best place Starbucks The rooms would really benefit from a kettle as there is a mini fridge and would defiantly help if your self catering as we were ;) All and all would defiantly return to this hotel but wouldn’t return to Madrid prefer Valencia personally but well worth a ✅on your list of to dos ;)

Great location for visiting Madrid central by foot. Small rooms. Nice rooftop pool. Breakfast could be upgraded (didn't like coffee and juices)

Nice and clean room. The air conditioning was great in 90F weather. Good breakfast in the morning. Staff was friendly.

Good location and rooms. The walls are a bit thin so pray for good neighbors (we got bad ones. ) However, the bathroom was not in it's best shape and it wouldn't suffer being renovated. AC is top notch.

The rooms and hotel are very modern and clean, jacuzzi on the rooftop, breakfast buffet in the morning. The location is pretty great as well, only 10-15 minute walk to most major plazas, and it's right by Puerta de Toledo. The cafe is nice as well, a decent variety on the menu and the food is enjoyable.

It is not the big class, but it is quite correct. Ideal for this will go to Madrid by car and who need to park their car. Located about ten minutes from downtown.

Stayed at Hotel Ganivet with a few friends earlier this week. I had stayed here previously with my wife and I'm glad to say standards have been maintained. The hotel is centrally located on Calle Toledo and is very convenient to the city centre. It is located halfway between Toledo and La Latina metro stations. The rooms are not very big but they're clean as are the en-suite bathrooms. The pool was closed while we were there but opens later into the summer we were told. The breakfast is excellent and caters to most tastes. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is very well located. It is right next door to Toledo. With a very good access by car and a Metro stop 1 minute. The rooms are spacious and the staff very friendly. If you use the parking, do not sulen to put problems if you leave a few hours after checkout to take advantage and continue visiting Madrid.

The hotel is chosen from the principle of proximity of the metro and a small distance from historical monuments. The Metro is really a hundred meters away. But it turned out the entire historical center of the city is not so great. He's a hand. We walked everywhere. And the subway was used only on the last day of stay, when went to a distant park. The hotel is not small. The rooms are normal. On the first day we got a room with a window to the street. The window for airing had to open and at night. The noise of the machines gave no rest and sleep. The next day we were given a room to the patio. That's where the clock silence! This room was a decent size. The truth is not designed: there is not a single drawer for small things like wires and drugs in the bedside tables. The air conditioner is interesting-heating the air in the room, it cools it where it is needed warm in the evening-in the bathroom. It's like that. The bed was comfortable. We slept hard. But… The main thing is the cleaning of the room is terrible. The floors are cleaned with a broom or vacuum cleaner. It is impossible to walk on the number in socks – all become dirty. The legs are sticky to the floor from the dirt left by the previous tenants. At the counter we were offered to talk to the maid. Yourself! Only the female manager's floor kept me from the Russian mat! In the evening the floors were washed. The stains did not disappear, but the sticking to the feet ceased: — (. Breakfast was not used.

This was hotel for us on our Eurotrip. What a great location! Close to the metro, close to hail a taxi and close to the attractions! I was hoping the roof top pool would be open (end of April) but they just started to fill it while we were there. The roof top was open — however never late enough to enjoy it. (Closed at 7pm). The breakfast was spectacular and had a wide variety of goodies hot and cold. It was kid friendly with a pack n play crib and a high chair for breakfast! I would for sure stay again! I.

You can walk to the Centre of Madrid in a good location. Resaturant buffet correct. Well equipped for a 3 star.

Recommended: 3-star hotel for those who want to stay a 10-minute walk from the centre and close to the subway (a step from Puerta de Toledo). The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom is very clean.

The hotel is quite large so it has quite a lot of guests and the rooms not being sufficiently isolated you hear the noises that these make but for the record they immediately stop and it was all right.
The reception of the hotel all correct and they cater quite quickly as there were several people attending, the bar area would say it is small but with all around it also does not matter, plus was going out the area equally.

Hotel with good central location and own parking for €19 day.

Simple, unpretentious, clean and central hotel.

Good hotel clean and staff helpful and pleasant. Short bus or taxi ride to museums and galleries. Only black mark was no coffee or tea making facilities in room. Bit they can be obtained on competitively priced bar.

The cafeteria is cozy and quiet, the beer well-pulled, the tapas generous and the price very reasonable. It is very well located, close to downtown.

I usually go to the cafeteria with my coach because it is a quiet place to chat a while quietly, they put Tapias and the service is very friendly. Recommended.

The Ganivet is very central. It is 200-300 metres from the La Latina or Puerta de Toledo Metro stations. To Plaza Mayor approx. 800 meters. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are absolutely OK. Cleanliness, facilities (TV, air conditioning, safe, hair dryer), size, leave nothing to be desired for a short trip. Breakfast is plentiful and for my claim absolutely sufficient. The staff was very friendly and the hotel additionally has a security service which also likes to give tips. I've been to the Ganivet for 3 times and will be booking there in the future. Absolutely recommended.

Very friendly… we were allowed to leave the car in the parking lot, after having made the checkout.

It is a hotel with very good breakfast. It worked a single elevator and there were many passengers in it. I did not like that I had to claim the provision of shampoo and soaps… in three days of stay.

Was a nice hotel located within minutes of Plaza Majoré. Not a bad drive to the airport (20-30 minutes). In house cafe/bar is somewhat lacking in variety but good for a quick bite. Main dining for breakfast is top notch and offers many different options.

All week included today December 25th 9 am, with renovations, blows against the wall and the reception staff Juan García overbearing and rude says they are in reform because it is low season, one of two elevators does not work. Of course there is the manager to attend to.

Good service, attentive staff and very friendly cleaners. The room was OK even though the bathroom door in my room got stuck and was very hard to open. The breakfast buffet was very good. Just miss that the rooms were somewhat soundproof as mine gave to a nightclub and with the hubbub of people were hard to stick eye, but still everything great.

Disgraceful phone service, without education or professionalism, the same man had a bad day… Very nice hotel.

Well located, with the metro nearby and a short walk to the Latina. The service was excellent and the rooms were in very good condition. We had a problem and they got it fixed right away.

Sitting here in the bar waiting for the taxi to run us both back to the airport. Both by wife and I agree that the hotel is ideally located to all the local attractions of Madrid. Warm and cozy, everyone was very friendly and helpful, have great recommendations for dinner. When they have a restaurant recommendation, they would give us that restaurants business card with the hotel's stamp on it and the restaurants would give us an extra treat at the end of dinner. The one day it was raining when we were leaving and try gave my friend and me an umbrella to use for each of us. Will stay there again for sure if I get back there. Very centrally located to everything.

Very good hotel, seems worth more than 3 stars. Everywhere is very clean, there is a reasonably priced cafe/bar which stays open till midnight. The breakfast was much better than I expected with plenty to choose from. Would come again.

I just arrived and loved the food and the big clean room and now I want to sleep but the rooms are so noisy. Pity would have liked to give 5 stars.

Helpful staff on reception… nearby metro station closed for refurbishment meant a bit of a walk which could have been highlighted for guests. Stayed on ground floor and our window wasn't secure… needing a little work but overall decent place and only 10 mins away from everything…

Conveniently located in the heart ofMadrid. Very cozy place to stay and with a very friendly staff. Continental Buffet was the thing that I loved so much. Lots of selections and very clean. The only thing missing is no place to get hot water to drink in my emergency need. Overall it's a beautiful place. I still want to go back.

Friendly, this slightly removed from the Center, but not much, there are many nearby dining and nearby Plaza Mayor, small rooms with air conditioning and safety deposit box included, service Wi Fi good.

The hotel is located close to the city centre, and so is ideal for exploring. It is also close to Campus Madrid if you are visiting there. The double bed no balcony room I had was clean and well set up so no complaints there. Bathroom had a bath and shower. And there were complimentary water bottles in the room as well as a water machine in the hallway. Breakfast was standard european style and more than sufficient. All in all a good place to stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The moorish decorations are wonderful and add such a unique touch to the aesthetic. The room is a nice size, well decorated and comfortable. The bathroom has two separate sinks, a toilet separate from the rest of the bathroom which is nice when sharing with another person. The shower has excellent water pressure. My only suggestion would be that there should be a shower curtain… since there is no door to separate the bathroom from the main space. The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to provide great service. Location is also good! So much around in short walking distance. I would stay here again.

Há poucos quartos com cama de casa, a maioria são duas camas de solteiro juntas. Mas apesar disso, as camas, os travesseiros e os lençóis são excelentes! A calefação é perfeita, e ainda ajuda a disfarçar o barulho da via (nos quartos virados para rua)! Para quem não tem problema para dormir, dorme feliz! O chuveiro e o banheiro são ótimos e conservados, mas deveria ganhar um prêmio quem conseguir tomar banho sem molhar o banheiro todo, não tem blidex ou cortina! Sem arrependimentos! Ah! Ótimo Wifi!

Very good location, the attention is good, central, where you can enjoy the most famous Spanish tapas, especially the tapas in madrid. And very close to the metro La Latina us have to us, agency travel, Tuvite Travel.

Account with a great location between the Puerta de Toledo and La latina, is located near the metro, more than recommended option, because parking there is almost impossible. It has spacious rooms, mine also had a terrace with magnificent views. Despite having a disco quite near, in the rooms you don't hear anything. It is the ideal place to spend the weekend and do some sightseeing, have a variety of dining choices in the surrounding area.

It is a very bad hotel. The breakfast is small and the rooms there are no Refrigerator. And its a too small hotel.

Good clean hotel. Though located close to metro, you should stay nearer to gran via or Puerto de sol if you wanna be in a happening place. Nights get very calm and not much action here though Gran via is a EUR1.5/15 mins metro ride away.

I haven't stayed there but customer service is awful. I tried to reach out to my sister who unfortunately gave me a wrong room number. A front desk personnel denied taking down a message for her or to connect me directly to the correct room she's in (for unexplained privacy purpose. ) The reason I was told "we can't". Well, when I go to Spain that would be the same reason why I will NEVER go to this hotel.

This hotel is located in the authentic heart of Madrid, between the Puerta de Toledo and La Latina metro stops. Pleasant rooms. Detail with the machines water on two floors. Dining room closed, only open if there comes a large group to half-board.
