Love the modern style with a nod to historic details. Stylish yet friendly. Rooftop dining and pool are great. The balcony overlooking Grand Via was a nice surprise in our room!

I highly recommend. Its in Gran Via…only 5 mins walk to Palacio Real. Well connected with the metro. Clean and spacious room (i had double room used for 1 pax) it was in 10th floor theres a great view of the gran via. The staff are very friendly 🥰

This is a boutique hotel that is just gorgeous. The rooms are a good size and some have a balcony with an awesome city view. The roof top restaurant and deck have a breath taking 360 view of the city. Very happy with the service and our stay in general.

Great place to stay. We were lucky enough to have a balcony room so that was a big plus. Beds and bathrooms we're awesome. As someone from USA, all the hostess and all employees were very helpful, friendly and spoke English. We also booked from hotels tonight's it said free valet parking — there was definitely a fee for the service. Other than that it is about the three Ls — location location location.

I can't say much about the hotel because I only visited the amazing roof top hotel bar. It's got these amazing panorama views of Madrid. The drinks are a bit expensive (10€ each) but it's nice for a visit. The bar can be a bit slow and the French bartender can be short with you. But forget all that and get a drink and enjoy the view. It's the perfect place for a sunset.

The location is excellent. The hotel is clean as well as the room, modern and with many amenities. The staff is friend and ready to help.

This is a pretty nice hotel. The rooms are not too small and have a little bit of a view. The 14th floor restaurant has quite nice views. The only problem is the roof pool is really very small; enough to cool down in the hot summer, but not enough to swim. Also, there is no gym in the hotel.

Brilliant location and well priced. Roof top bar is excellent but bar staff a bit poor in terms of service. The front of house staff at reception were excellent. Rooms were clean and very well appointed. All in all would recommend.

Extremely poor customer service. You call them and ask to change from a double to a triple room 3 weeks before coming and on top of charging you 40% extra for the room, they charge you an outrageous 50 GBP penalty fee and make you aware that if you are not happy, well too bad! This is what I call top notch customer service. Have no choice but not looking forward to staying there at all…

Wonderfully lovely hotel conveniently located next to a train station and multiple restaurants. An easy walk to the heart of Madrid with sweeping views of the city! The breakfast buffet is undeniably the selling point as each meal is filled with tasty meats, fresh fruits and juices, pastries and your choice of a cooked dish. Rooms are modern and comfy, however basic amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste etc. ) are not provided. However, the location and breakfast alone deserve 5 stars.

Simple stay. Overall there wasn’t anything wrong or outstanding during my last visit. The room was just what I booked and everything was the way I expected from their website. The staff was friendly. The pool opens at 9am not 12. The front sliding door is a little show so give it a second to actually open :)

Fantastic location, very friendly staff, comfortable beds an added bonus of a kettle in the room for our first morning cup of tea. We had breakfast on our first morning asked for scrambled eggs which were over cooked and more like an ommlette stacked and they didn’t know the meaning of boiling water for tea but other elements of the breakfast wer good. We also felt the colour design on our bathroom of mainly black tiles was a great mistake as although I am sure it was cleaned every day showed white dried up soap marks giving the impression of not being clean. All in all a great stay.

Restaurant on the 14th floor and terrace with swimming pool on the 15th. You can have dinner listening to soft music Q puts a Dj. Or just have a drink quietly.

Great hotel, excellent value for money, big location. Breakfast was a little bit expensive.

We went up to his restaurant for dinner and went out delighted. The staff were very helpful and the view was great. The very rich lobster croquettes, the ragut of mushrooms with delicious poached egg, the artichokes with Thistle No. They were pure and very hard straw and the exquisite Apple tatin. Despite the artichokes repeat and recommend.

Excellent Clean Breakfast Exceptional Classic but efficient and quality frankly it gets close to the 5 star.

Overall good, we had problems with the beds in the room but they were all kind and courteous. Excellent location to take advantage of the nightlife and good connections to the Metro. If you are looking for rest however I recommend you give the rooms from the eighth floor up, otherwise you are on a very busy street… Gran Via.

The hotel is very nice, furnished with care, very clean. On arrival we found two bottles of water and two apples offered, also our room had kettle and tea bags, including these. The room was on the first floor on a very busy and lighted street: The blackout curtains and the soundproof windows made us sleep anyway great! The only flaw, serious: we had requested a double room and they assigned us a twin.

Hotel well located in the heart of Madrid but a lot of noise if not good value for money and breakfast on the top floor with panoramic view in the clouds by cons forget the pool, it is too small and little space around it is located at an angle of the ' Hotel.

Very reasonable price for sleek and modern hotel. We enjoyed our short trip and everyone was nice and helpful with our limited Spanish. The room was not to small and not wastefully big. It was filled with simple and great looking decor that made for a comfortable base to relax in. If I had to point out any suggestions they would be to offer a la carte for the breakfast upstairs so someone can do a less expensive and simpler breakfast, and when you do allow them to just get a coffee / juice, don't make them feel bad about it. The pool is awesome on the roof, but would be even more awesome in the winter as a hot-tub!

Rooms are a bit small but with good standard. The conference rooms in the basement is a joke! Don’t book for conference! The pool on the roof is small but have an amazing view so does the rooftop bar!

Very centrally located and right next to a subway station. Breakfast has a wide selection. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.

Lovely, quiet hotel in the center of the city. The rooms are clean (area rug, no carpeting), and very modern. The staff are helpful and friendly.

A little easy to miss from the street, but that shouldn't deter you. It is a gorgeous hotel. The reception staff is extremely welcoming and full of information. From checking in, they gave me a map of the area with sights to see and places to eat, which was very helpful. I loved the room we stayed in. It was very nicely accommodated. The view from the balcony was a great way to see Madrid hustle and bustle from a distance. Yes, you can hear some traffic at times but I'm a heavy sleeper so that didn't bother me. I doubt it would bother anyone especially since the bed there is so comfy! Also, make sure to check out the rooftop pool, it was a little bit difficult to access at first (because I don't read directions), but it is definitely worth seeing and taking a dive into (if you're not scared of heights). I didn't have a chance to eat at the hotel, since we were exploring and mainly wanted to try some of the local restaurants, but it seemed to be a nice place for a meal.

Very friendly and always courteous ladies and gentlemen at the reception! The breakfast buffet and the menu for freshly prepared dishes leave nothing to be desired! If Madrid again, then definitely Dear Hotel!

Clean very nice terrace I booked a king bed and I found myself with a small but well appointed Queen room with shelves for luggage. Sometimes blurring car on Gran via Avenue.
The breakfast is beautiful and they charge 19euro per person.
Over All I like it.

If I go back to Madrid I will go back to this hotel.
I travel only in 4 stars minimum and it is a real 4 star it is perfect to stay in Madrid.
It is right in the city center and is just next to a metro station so this is the top.
The building is very beautiful and the decoration of the rooms is trend purified it feels really good in it as if we were home.
The bathroom is very beautiful too, all in black so always very trendy, with a very large shower so perfect for the showers in love… ;)
I really have no complaints about this hotel, the host girl was super nice and smiling.
Only weak point is the pool, it is small so it should rather make it a strong point by turning it into a heated pool and adding massaging jets so that it becomes a kind of very large Jacuzzi and it will become really interesting:)

Amazing hotel. Lovely staff! View from the pool is second to none! Nice all you can eat breakfast for €19 euros Only issue I had was my room being too cold on the first night but the next morning they changed my to a better room with a amazing view within a hour or so ;) this was my first time in Madrid and I love it. Best hotel I've stayed in a long time. Hotel should be 5 starts not 4 stars.

Great location, tons of restaurants and stores (walking distance). Nice view from rooftop. Modern rooms. Has rooftop pool and bar. Great service! Clean. Would recommend it and hopefully will come back someday.

I love this hotel. First, the staff are super helpful. The building is charming, a combination of clean contemporary interiors while honoring the architectural details from the original time period. Everything is clean and welcoming. The roof restaurant and lounge are lovely and the view is great. It's a wonderful place to hang out and watch the sunset.

The rooms are beautiful and the view from the pool is spectacular.

WARNING — Most of the reviews are for the bar and restaurant, not the hotel. My review is for the hotel. Overall, my impression of Dear Hotel is that they want to attract the kind of guest that is trying to impress other people, and post fancy looking photos on Instagram, but with no real substance behind the actual product. I've stayed in a range of hotels (check my reviews) from 2* through 5*. Dear Hotel are pretending to be a 5* "luxury" hotel but delivering a 2* or possibly 3* product, at best. Good: — Location, 10 minutes or so walk to most places you want to go Bad — Loud: all rooms are facing a fairly major junction with lots of constant fire engines, ambulances etc. All night; the windows were not thick enough to hide this — Service: asked to move room due to being constantly woken by very loud traffic, told there was no rooms we can move to, despite there being many people checking in and out every day — Not a comfy bed: Mattress was quite hard, "double" bed was two singles pushed together — Not clean: wine glasses were filthy, lots of dust around the room particularly the bedside tables, bathrooms were not that well cleaned, lots of marks and stains on the walls and tiles — Poor attention to detail: I cut my finger on the edge of a bathroom tile, the sink wasn't sealed in properly, the bathroom door was stiff, — There was a balcony, but the doors were locked and there was no key to be able to use it — Toiletries were cheap — shampoo etc.

Spectacular rooftop views with great dinner and wine, little bit pricey but you pay for the views! Service could have been a bit better. Worth going up and taking some pictures and having a relaxing drink on the rooftop!

Love the hotel. It's in a great location at the end of Gran Via by the palace. Plus the roof top view is incredible. Finally, the rooms are large and nicely updated for a European hotel. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful hotel, with a lovely view from the 14th floor restaurant terrace. Between the 14th and 15th floor is a small pool with a panoramic view of the city, yet it's really too small to actually swim in and the water seemed dirty. The breakfast had everything you could ever want, with a list of warm dishes the chef would prepare just for you. The rooms were very clean and cozy, but in our bathroom there was a tile loose in the shower. We had a balcony: if you see a button on the door, don't push it! It causes the door to lock.

Nice view, but the service is very poor. The barman at the roof top terrace was very impolite with me and my friends, even clients around us were shocked by his behavior. We were feeling so uncomfortable. My friends were travelling from LA to visit Madrid, and it was definitely the worst experience to chill out and have a drink. My advice : take nice pictures of the view from the rooftop and run from that place.

Good hotel, great staff, brightly comfy rooms, a free bottle of water, and perfect location.

Stayed here for several nights while visiting Madrid. The room was nice with modern appointments. Staff was direct, but not rude, and most spoke English quite well (and tolerated my attempts to speak Spanish better). Rooftop bar has wonderful views and serviceable cocktails. If the price is reasonable, I'd recommend staying here to other American travelers.

Gorgeous and chic white marble interiors, beautiful rooms, we stayed in a large room with impressive decor. It included a spacious, pillared balcony with a view that had it all. I have sent several people here who loved their time as I do on every visit. Staff were courteous and the roof top felt like a country club which was perfectly intimate and lively at the same time! Two thumbs up for management and staff!

Excellent location, good cost, exit you have access to the subway and from there to all Madrid. It is in the middle of the main theatres. The rooms are suitable in size to be such a central hotel.

Hotel very well located on Gran via even there is a metro station just outside the hotel, the staff very nice. However the rooms are small and the bed is not very comfortable.

Terrace with stunning views. I went to a celebration cocktail where we wanted music, but not heard anything, very disappointing. The hotel response was nil and we were without music all night. I wouldn't do an event ahim.

This hotel is great. They have opened recently so everything is new and it is super cool. The room is super cozy and the bed super comfortable. Very pleasant staff, always with a good face. Best thing about the hotel is the area of the terrace on the last floor of the hotel. The restaurant is quite good. Worth.

Madrid in Style! This isn’t some crumbling old building. Everything is new and very trendy, great facilities (big screen television, smartphone charging stations, “rain shower” in the bathroom) and they have free breakfast and 24 hour room service. Plus the location is great, close to all kinds of public transport.

Hotel well positioned: situated in the Gran Via, is a stone's throw from piazza to Spain and its subway station and a five minute walk from downtown (Sol, Opera, etc. ). The room was not bad: big enough, but mostly clean. There is also a pool, even though it is quite small! The price is very low, but is balanced by everything you save on transport, as the hotel is in the Centre.

It is a impressive hotel to enjoy the centre of Madrid. The location is perfect, in square eEspaña. In addition it is very cozy and everything is new. The staff is very attentive and terrace panormaica on the top floor. Highly recommended. I want to go back as soon as possible ¡¡¡

It is a design hotel. The room is very nice: wooden floor, furniture diaeño, a bed and a shower buenisimos. I also liked very much the breakfast on the upper terrace. The dishes are brave you get them freshly made. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a scam any three-star is better, I would not recommend it to anyone, the air doesn't work, dirty towels, pool very small and very dirty, the breakfast is a steal, the room service takes muchissimo, I had q wait an hour for a quilt for my daughter, if you have the chance to choose, choose another.

I’m a frequent traveler to Spain and have my ‘regular’ hotel, but it was booked so I found myself at the Dear Hotel. I have a new regular hotel! Everything is great here but the breakfast seals the deal. Excellent location too.

I have returned two days ago from Madrid to celebrate my anniversary. We stayed in this hotel and we have been very happy because it is what I was looking for. A central hotel, nice, comfortable, clean, etc. The rooftop is amazing, and since our room had beautiful views. In addition I asked them a favor to give a surprise to my girlfriend and they helped me without a problem. The treatment was very good and close at least in my case and the price is reasonable for the services of the hotel and to the area. It is just next to Plaza España and you have the metro stop across the street. We had a problem with the air conditioning, but the solved soon.

Warning! this hotel is a catastrophe, Wi-Fi doesnt work, the air conditioner doesnt work, the elevator either, the floors smell very bad, the pool is very small and dirty, they doesnt have baby crib and my daughter was asleep without blanket becaause we wait like an hour for her, the towels were dirty also, the breakfast is very expensive also, I dont recomend it to anyone, I will never come back!
