I have stayed at this hotel a 4 star hotel for 7 nights with my wife, and I'm really satisfied. Of course, some sins there is but the perfection is, of course, and rightly, impossible to find it, otherwise one would choose a 5 star hotel, right? I appreciated the extreme friendliness and professionalism of the young militants at the buffet breakfast bar, a lounge bar, room service (very much appreciated the fact that there are NO surcharges with respect to the consummation on the ground floor! ) and at the pool bar on the terrace. The staff at the reception, instead, as always, very professional, I found it less lively compared to the rest of the staff. About then, I would like to make a little note of demerit: on Booking it was stated "we Speak your language! ", but I managed to communicate (without problems, of course, but I consider it appropriate to point it out) in English only. Not that it was a problem, quite the contrary, I'm used to and I speak fluent English, but let's say that I don't appreciate these contradictions. Unlike other guests, who evidently do not read until the end of the booking conditions, and are not surprised by the breakfast not included in the price, and indeed I found honest the price for the quality of the food and the variety.

Amazing hotel but they convince you to pay for breakfast as it’s ‘continental’ etc and apparently a really good price (buffet for €10 for everyday you stay…). AWFUL food. Not vegetarian and they don’t understand what vegetarian is… one of the ladies from the kitchen picked up the pork sausage which fell in the egg with the egg spoon, then put the spoon back with the eggs… they do give you a packed lunch if you’re leaving past midnight and paid already for the next morning… I got a ham sandwich. We specifically said we’re nuslims so vegetarian would do… was honestly appalling. In regards to room etc, amazing. Swimming pool is good but small… but loved everything other than the food.

Great hotel, it had a safe where we securely left all our valuables whenever we left the room (we left our phones in the safe when we walked down to the beach just in case) (beach was a 10 minute walk away from hotel), luxury bathroom, drying rack for our swimming costumes, we got 3 separate large beds as there was 3 of us, hairdryer, dental kit, soap, new towels every day, aircondition, all for a very good price in end of June. It is a 10 minute walk from a tube station the ladies at reception helped explain to us the public transport system, and the hotel was maybe 20 minutes by tube away from the centre so it was quick to get there. There was no balcony as the room was high up. There is a rooftop pool and bar with a nice view, but some annoying children jumping into the pool. On arrival it was our friends birthday, and the hotel staff kindly left a cake in our room when we went to explore the pool on the first day of our trip. They wrote a card for our friend and our friend was delighted. The receptionists were very friendly and helped us book a taxi to the airport We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as they told us it would cost €10 per person per day, as there was a shopping mall just 5 minutes walk away from the hotel we got breakfast in various cafes there for around €5 for unlimited lattes, churro and warm pizza or sandwich of our choice. Overall great hotel, great service staff.

Good morning.
The staff were very friendly and friendly. The restaurant is no longer the same, we tried to eat some crumbs and seemed made with eceite of a week of use.
And the attention of the staff can improve.

Very good hotel with a very nice full buffet for breakfast. Nice roof with pool and bar, pity that this closes at 10pm on beautiful night. Nice view.
The neighborhood is not more enjoyable but this one is on. Metro at 10 or 15 min. To advise.

The hotel from the outside looks nice, however the surrounding area is not great and there is not a large amount of stuff to do on the doorstep. It is not too close to the touristy parts of Barcelona, although I was here for work so it was a good location near the office. It is close to the beach (for warmer months) and a pretty good shopping mall which has resturants, reasonably priced fashion shops from Primark to Ray Ban. Inside the hotel is clean and the lobby looks nice, there are also rental bikes at the front of the hotel. In the room it was also clean however the amenities seemed quite basic, it had a dental kit, showering kit, comb and hair dryer. Other places (although not essential) will provide other bits like conditioner, hand cream etc. That being said everything provided worked, such as the TV, a free to use safe, etc. Two beds were pushed together for a double which although probably made it bigger than a double (large singles) I am not a massive fan of this. The view from my room was not great (see pic). In the morning, breakfast was great with a large selection of food in a buffet style. Also, check in and check out was fast and efficient with polite and helpful staff.

The hotel is very well located. Close to Metro access and bus stop. Very nice breakfast buffet.

This hotel has the worse service possible. My friend and I stayed for 5 nights in May hoping to receive 4 star treatment the way the hotel so proudly advertises. The hotel is not near the city centre as stated and staff are slow to tend to your needs and in some cases ignore your request entirely. We were offered complimentary drinks on arrival and so decided to set our things down and go capitalise on what seemed like a nice offer. When we got to the bar, we were greeted by a moody and unfriendly bar man. We told him about our complimentary drinks offer. He told us to sit down and wait. We waited half hour and watched him moodily work behind the bar. Eventually we gave up waiting as he disappeared and it felt like he had forgotten we were there. On the 3rd day I went to the bar to order sandwiches. I was told someone will tend to me shortly. 45 mins later someone did finally come and take my order but I was amazed that with so much staff running around how could one forget about tending to a sandwich order! On our 4th day here we discovered that some money we left on the window sill was missing. Note the money had been set aside from day 1. When we complained about money being missing in our room, the hotel management were slow to investigate and take responsibility of theft having taken place in the room. It was discovered the next day that the cleaner had assumed it was tip money for her services.

Poor quality bedding not impeccable the staff does not speak French and makes no effort.
The swimming pool Yes but to access it first needs it someone opens it…
Disappointing hotel.

Great hotel at 20mn walk from the beach in the corner of diagonal shopping mall. The reception was warm and in French. The room on the fourth floor was spacious and quiet. The view of Barcelona was nice. The roof of the hotel and its pool are beautiful. Breakfast on top with absolutely everything you want, salty, sweet, fresh fruit and dried fruit, seeds etc… The price is also very correct for the location and service. I don't know if there is a private parking but we were able to Park outdoors free of charge without any problem.

Great hotel, clean rooms are large and modern, equipped with gym pool sauna, all inclusive in the price, breakfast and great and very rich and varied.

Very good facilities and modern. El mirador/swimming pool at the top is an exceptional place to enjoy the panoramic views of the city. The breakfast buffet excellent.

Great location. Close to train, tour bus stops, mall, parks, metro, great restaurants and business Distric. Room very clean, beautiful view from the pool, sauna and gym.

The Frühstücksbűffet is very varied, the rooms a bit cold. The surrounding area is not very nice.

Barcelona itself is a pleasant surprise to discover: streets, neighborhoods, hotels, restaurants and without place to doubt and not lastly, the presence of Gaudí. That which fills your soul with pride by making part of an astonishing civilization. From the Melia hotel that never disappoints, it does not matter the cardinal point of the planet where their services have arrived, everything seems easier, simpler, more comfortable. Go to Barcelona, know our country because it is a precious jewel that we have to keep. Come out to see the world, know, share, enjoy. Thanks a lot.

The hotel is very beautiful by itself, and the rooms are spacious enough and cozy. The bathrooms were gorgeous and well provided with useful material. The breakfast was delicious though the dining room was a little bit small.

The hotel is quite nice, but it is located in an area that is not very good, industrial polygons closed and no commercial activity. In the evenings everything is closed and you have to go away for dinner. The front desk staff can be more friendly.

Right room, Chula. But hairdryer did not work and they had no spare and they did not fix it until the day DP.

Miles away from anywhere. No restaurants in walking distance unless you wish to eat on top of the shopping centre. Very disappointing area to have a modern hotel. Not a nice area to stroll around and the beach front leaves a lot to be desired. Sad way to finish our 6 week holiday. And please get softer beds. We stayed with you in Madrid and the beds were the same. Like sleeping on a plank of wood. Not good for travellers.

It was a very nice hotel. The pool with bar on the roof is awesome. The friendliness and the availability of the reception must be emphasized.
Small downside, the hotel is located a bit far from the city center, so there are not many restaurants and activities around. However the subway is a 5 minute walk away.

Very good hotel if you want quiet. It is far from the major tourist area, and Gothic Quarter area. It is known more for busniess purposes. Staff were very nice Best transportation into the city is the metro. Best to use the "T-10". About a 7 to 8 minute walk to the metro.

Beautiful hotel. 15 min walk from the train station. Quiet area. The breakfast is incredible. Staff are friendly.

Nice room. My room had two twin beds pushed together and were a bit hard, however, they were comfortable and I slept well. I used the L4 metro to get around which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was friendly.

We were booked here for a night because our original booking at another hotel didn't have a room ready for us. The room was unimpressive. The wall was curved making for a weird room. The door to the bathroom was broken. They offered us breakfast for 10euro even after all the trouble they put us through; it should have been free. The trimming along the corner of the wall was dirty. The hanging light from the bathroom seemed unstable. The doors to each hotel room slammed shut so you can hear whenever someone would enter or exit a room. The location is a ways away from any shopping or large attractions.

Nothing to say about the hotel; Excellent breakfast, serious and qualified staff, constant cleaning and great rooms. The biggest defect is the location, in the suburbs and at 10-15 Min from the metro station.

Very modern and chic hotel. We had a family room which even has two bathrooms and a walk-in closet. The furniture is very modern, but one has already seen some signs of use, for example damaged corners, or tiefezer in the surfaces. We also noticed that there are very few sockets in the room. Only one in the bathroom and one next to the dining table. At least, which at the bedside tables would be very practical. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly.

Relatively OK priced since it is not near city centre. OK to get to via MTR or bus tour. Around 40Euros to get to from airport. Careful when checking in as they will force upon you a lot to upgrade or paying for extras. No need if you have done your homework before staying there. Room is nice and big, but I upgraded once I got there since "my room was not ready yet… " Staff are nice and easy to communicate with in English. Nice shopping mall nearby. A good quiet area of Barcelona.

Very nice Hotel with a central location at the Barcelona Forum. At 10 minutes the metro and the Sea, breakfast super plentiful, clean rooms. Prices a bit expensive.

Very nice, a bit away from the sights, but that's kind of nice. The staff wouldn't let me take my bicycle through the lobby to my room, but instead forced me to take the bike in through the garage in the basement to my room. Seems unnecessary; I ride a really nice bike. The staff also always seemed a bit bothered when needing something. Not sure if understaffed or just Spanish culture, but food was good and slept well in a clean room.

Service is kind of slow but the rooms are clean enough. No business lounge. Kind of in the middle of no where and taxi drivers are not likely to be willing to take you out on a short ride.

A very good and clean hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I injured myself and couldn't walk, they were pretty accommodating with my needs, however it's not a disability friendly hotel. They don't have wheelchairs, for a hotel with 4 star rating I would expect them to have wheelchairs. The cleaning staff keeps knocking on the door every 10 mins after 10am so make sure you put a do not disturb board at your door if you plan to sleep until late.

Free Wi-Fi of very poor quality. Clogged sink. Air conditioning leaks. The completely collapsed breakfast room. The waiters with your best intentions but could not yet.

Pretty nice hotel, clean and good service. I stayed there with my girlfriend. The only warning I'll give is that the room we stayed in had a completely exposed bathroom, with only a clear sliding glass door facing into the room, and no curtain or screen (and we asked at reception). So make sure you and your roommates are comfortable going to the bathroom for number twos with everyone else watching you! :)

The hotel is perfect and super quiet. Very modern and spacious rooms!

Good enough hotel, but for the price and stars, the quality wasn't where we expected. Our bathroom had a clear glass door and no lock, the TV was quite old and small, and there was really only one outlet in the room to use.

Care for tourists, if the buttons, receptionist say call a taxi to say that, it will cost you twice, they get Commission.

Nice location, quiet area not far from the mall and a decent walk to the ocean. Lovely amenities and friendly staff. Overall nice experience.

90% of staff are rude even upon arrival, no tea coffee making facilities in rooms, the extras ie jym roof terrace are just closed when the manager decides to go home early. I'll be honest the best thing about this hotel is the view from the roof aslong as you don't look at the area the hotel is built in, city amazing thow.

The hotel itself is very comfortable, quite modern in appearance. The staff are all very helpful and bilingual. Wifi is very good. The breakfast is very good with a large variety which is good as the area is run down. Local tapas is where 'locals' eat — traditional. It is a train ride (L4) out of the city of about 15-20 mins. The public transport is very good. The area needs a huge upgrade. Walking distance to the beach.

Great Hotel, very nice staff (General), staff at the reception speaks English very well — have tried but to also speak a smattering of English (which was maybe also because, that we tried in the Catalan speaking, what we managed to do that), amazing Breakfast buffet — very good, nice modern and large room cleaning exemplary, Super swimming Pool on the roof terrace, 10. Floor/Are sufficient, the distance from the Hotel to the subway a bit far, but if you are not gehfaul, then this is without problems in 10 Min. To reach! Were of our 4-day stay (21. — 24.5.2015) more than enthusiastic, both from the Hotel as well as BARCELONA itself! Beautiful city, with nice people, super great food, many of the "must-see" attractions, and the weather was nice and warm! Better can not be! We can recommend the Hotel highly enough, we will come back for sure!

Great place! Pure, beautiful, great breakfast. Near a large shopping centre with reach new heights and a bunch of stores. Metro station close to the city centre by Metro in 10-15 minutes.

Toilets to spend a weekend in Barcelona, is luxurious modern rooms and common rooms perfect. It is highly recommended to upload to your roof, where there is a small swimming pool with views across the city. As negative point is in a former industrial estate which sight can give some qualms but during all my instance I went back by public transport also at night and we didn't have any problem. They often have discounts on packages of the life is beautiful, good choice to go cheaper. And finally indicate that breakfast is superior, variety and very rich.

We were five days in the Hotel which is in an industrial area. What not but get over it, because this Night is active, and the days are not louder than usual road noise. The staff's mood is like the weather good, just in a bad mood. So we had nice evenings but also bad. So we saw that even when we, the operation of the Bar for a nightcap waived. What we felt as very beautiful, was the one was with the Metro very quickly to the most beautiful corners of Barcelona. Also the beautiful beach of Barcelona is within Walking distance. The rooms are modern and clean and the Breakfast buffet is the Highlight of the hotel. There is something for everyone and the Start of the day begins with a smile in Barcelona. We would go again :-)

Expensive friendly and the receptionist you cheat asking for taxis to cobram about 10 or 20 e more which will charge them the customer thieves.

I was for the first time in this Hotel, but also the last. Where to personnel to get started: in the Bar? Sleeping tablet… 3 beer with 3 other guests, more than 20 minutes… Rooms: All furniture is "patched" in different tones (Is not part of the design, but only barely
repaired)
Sliding door to bathroom, full glass, not because he hits from the middle on the tile floor. The toilet is not firmly mounted, which means that each time you sit or get up, the water tank made of ceramic against the wall… (Great for the neighbours in the night)

The Hotel convinced in the first moment, by its Design, the Foyer is really overwhelming. The photos, which you can see on the Internet do not promise too much really. It is located in a quiet area, the nearest Metro (Selva de Mar) is a 10 min walk and the beach about 15 min walk — a bit annoying, since you will have to take this route more often. In the vicinity is a large shopping center with all kinds of shops, Bars and Restaurants. On the roof of the hotel, a small but beautiful Pool with panoramic view over Barcelona. The staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet is super delicious and varied. Definitely worth a visit!
