Great hotel very modern rooms, the sinks and the beds have no separation but that’s the European style and I think it’s really cool. Guests from US like me maybe don’t like this but I do. Planning another trip to barcelona again in October for sure im staying here again!

Amazing staff, they treated us like no one in Barcelona. It was my anniversary and they gave us a welcoming gift. The room was even better than expected, comfy bed and relaxing bath tube. The views to paseo de Gracia were also a plus. Definitely coming back for a relaxing night after a long day!

Great location! My room was great — it had a desk, USB plugs, slippers, and every possible toiletry (I really appreciated the toothpaste and toothbrush). I loved the complimentary water bottles, tea, and chips. Plenty of hanging space and room for bags. It might be awkward to stay in the room as a couple — the bathroom and shower have glass doors that don’t shut all the way. It also took me a while to find a light switch that was behind a mirror. The hotel was in decent condition with some signs of wear and tear (ex black tile in the shower was chipping). It was weird that the reception was on the 2nd floor but not too annoying. Staff was friendly and the rooms were mostly quiet. I wish breakfast had been included but there was a coffee shop nearby that met my needs for breakfast at a much more reasonable price. Overall I would stay here again!

In a privileged place, a charming hotel. The staff makes it even better, a stay that from the first moment is seen as excellent. A hotel to repeat as many times as possible.

Terrible… Nothing works in the room… Three stars would have been more than enough.

I can not say that this hotel corresponds to the declared 5 stars. Very strange placement. The hotel is located on the main street in the heart of the city. Not high cost and good accommodation is the only advantage. Hotel is not suitable for families with children, very uncomfortable. Room for tomorrow is not great. Breakfast usual and nothing remarkable.

Positive experience for a business stay in Barcelona. Full service from the indispensable to the accessory services such as Wi-Fi and coffee in the room. International TV and a nice relaxing area waiting. For us Italians it is strange to see shower and bath in the room! Hard to comprehend! But the world is beautiful because it varies.

I give location a 5star. On their website, they advertise as 5star hotel but redesigning with red tile does not make it 5star hotel. Hotel ran out of hair conditioner and didn’t let me know until I walked to lobby after waiting for 20minutes. When I got in bed and had to get up after 30minutes to get a charger, I saw a brown cockroach right under my feet. As a restaurant professional I never allow any insects and bugs and I would close my restaurant myself if I saw any in mine. I called reception and receptionist was very surprised that I saw one but when another hotel agent came in, he said its a usual thing in Barcelona but he was scared to lift anything to see if there were more and was very careful when he was picking up my luggage to see if there were any nearby. After moving to a new room, I’m still uncomfortable to sleep here and that is why I’m writing this at the moment. When I stayed at hostel two years ago, I’ve never seen a single bug or cockroach even with 12people in a room and I have to experience this at a 5star hotel is absolutely unacceptable.

I had a very good stay. Who attended us was very pleasant I would definitely go back. Very close to restaurants and clothing stores.

I think it is the only 5 star hotel I have stayed in, but I have honestly been to hotels with 4 stars much more deserving of the fifth star of hotels and the review.
It is definitely a very good construction hotel and with nicely decorated rooms, although it is a bit rare that in a five star hotel the front desk is for example on a first floor and not on ground floor.
For the hotel that is and the location that offers the price is good, we paid about €120 for one night. Not if it would return because it is a lot of money, but not bad.

I will come back. The hotel is very good situated if you like to do shopping and sight seeing. The hop on hop off bus blu and red line stops in front of the building. Metro is a couple steps away. One little disadvantage in the room, there isn’t enough space to put ones toilet Necessaire away. Just look at the photos.

Great location, central to all the shops bars and resturants. Helpful staff, rooms are good. Best for couples as its one open plan room with a glass door for the shower and bathroom.

It is a 5 star that actually has the quality of a four star which is shown to me at breakfast and at the entrance etcetera.
Fortunately it has a very reasonable price has a street lift which gives you a lot of intimacy is the only advantage I see and is in the center of the city.

Hotel of 10 The location is unbeatable, in one of the best areas of downtown Barcelona. The rooms very comfortable and practical, highlight the bathroom with bathtub in the center of the room to be able to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and comfortable. Full and good breakfast.
Recommended to spend a few days in Barcelona, would definitely repeat.

It was an anniversary gift so not sure about quality Vs price but my husband and I had a great 2-night stay. Staff at the front desk and the restaurant were great. Beautiful rooms in a beautiful area of Barcelona.

Great hotel in the centre of Barcelona. Staff are great and they try really hard to make your experience special. For the price bracket, this hotel certainly punches above is weight with a pillow menu and staff who are eager to please. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and the surprised us with a glass of bubble and chocolates on arrival. Overall a good experience.

The hotel is unassuming from outside but inside it's great. Room is large with a balcony facing the street. There's an outdoor area at the back of the hotel. Location is excellent, great shops and the metro is just metres away.

Perfect location. Spacious and beautiful rooms.
However, the breakfast is fro, not enough choice.
In the rooms there is a lack of storage and a towel rack.

Hotel 5 * With its faults large bed for Premium package but shower on the joints disgusting (rest of hair of previous occupants) 16, €50 for breakfast that I suspect buy in Pakistani supermarkets.
So-called multilingual channels there was only Spanish and Catalan.
The toilet and bathroom are poorly disposè and the photos a bit much exaggerated the only positive thing left is the comfortable and large bed.
I would come back only for the location (20m from Casa Batlló)

A lot of noise and a few nuts… It really is a 4 * with an excellent location. Impeccable service but deficient in maintenance: a sink clogged, a faucet with water leakage, the shower drips…

This is a hotel that has left me feeling found. I explain:
At the level of design, facilities, and location, we can put a 9. I personally loved the room, but perhaps I would put the "paste" of the sink. It is not very functional, at the expense of surrendering to the design…
On the contrary, the spaciousness and comfort of the bed is great. We return with another of Cal: talking about sleeping, we offer a menu of pillows, and when asking for a discoveries that really are all the same.
Another unforgivable point in a 5 * hotel like this is the kitchen service. It's not up to par, I'm sorry. Neither at dinner in the room at night, nor at breakfast in the morning in the common dining room. Some simple scrambled eggs can't be done so badly… We have to look deeply at these gentlemen!
I must also say that after the "disaster" of the dinner they offered immediately to offer us a discount (50%) in the amount of the dinner, in an attempt to alleviate the mistakes made.
The staff at all times was polite and friendly, although one of the members was not up to the occasion.
In short, seeing the competition that abounds, and squeezes, in an area as crowded as Paseo de Gracia, this hotel must be refined and professionalize certain aspects or will be left behind without remedy.
It is not a cheap hotel, and as you increase the price, also the requirement.

Set on a tree-lined street, this upscale hotel is within a 2-minute walk of Passeig de Gràcia metro station and the Casa Batlló museum by architect Antoni Gaudi. Featuring funky contemporary decor, the sophisticated rooms offer free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Upgraded rooms have tea and coffeemakers, or terraces. Room service is available. Buffet breakfast is offered in an offbeat restaurant with a bar (fee). There's also a terrace and a gym.

Hotel lobby average, however rooms are very cool, bathtub is in the middle of the room, very nice balcony with sitting area. Design is very modern like the SLS or W hotels. Location is fantastic right on major walkway for shopping and sight seeing.

Staying at the hotel for business, attending an event at the Gran Fira. The hotel location is great, easy access to bus and train. My room on the 6th floor is excellent, featuring a balcony from which I can enjoy the cool breeze and observe the comings and goings below. The bed is comfortable, and the linens are nice. The shower is top notch, and the tub looks nice. Closet space is fine, but no dresser or drawers are to be found in the room. All that being said, the service is wonderful. I was traveling over my birthday, and the staff worked (in secret) with my family to ensure that I had a cake and some fresh berries. The food was excellent. The relaxation lounge is quite nice, and the patio out back is a lovely place to send an email and enjoy some quiet. All in all, I've greatly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect if you want to stay in city center of Barcelona Near a lot of key attractions.

Good location, good rooms but the beds are hard and uncomfortable. I've slept on the floor of railway stations and had better night's sleep. The room they changed us to had a better bed but the room smelt of mould. Will not stay again.

My room had a poor internet connection. After a technician coming to check on my computer watching me navigate that connection was indeed poor, call by phone to the company that managed internet. They also thought it was, and went back to check it out. After making me lose 45 minutes, effectively admitted that the problem was the antenna connection and told me that there was nothing to do.
The reception gave me a change. A 6 floor with views of the Paseo de Gracia a second with the luggage of another person. Apparently, they checked or if that room was free. Finally, I stayed where I was and work from a Starbucks.

The spacious room, very comfortable beds and the very modern bathroom design. Nice detail which offer a kettle and tea/coffee free. I put only two drawbacks: first, the bedside tables are far below the level of the mattress, so you have to lean much to leave your things; Second, the design of the bathroom: basins, metal and very small, have tap just to the level that you wash your face, so it is very difficult to use them without much water on the floor. The toilet was separated from the room only by a gate of translucent Crystal, what questions the intimacy of "certain needs". It also lacks space to leave utensils bathroom. Very modern and nice but nothing practical.

The room was good, but very simple and small. The service was great and breakfast was delicious with a big variety of products. Nice hotel for a Valentine's day night. Good price.

Stayed for a long weekend near the end of January. Arrived at the hotel at about 1am and the 24h check in was fairly quick and easy. Since we hadn't eaten we asked if there was anywhere to get food nearby and the receptionist described the local area, not that we could find anything open by the time we went out. The room itself (610) was nice, located on the top floor at the front of the building. It overlooks the balcony area with a hot tub on it but it looked like it wasn't in use over the winter. It could be a little overlooked/noisy if it does get used in the summer. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The shower and toilet are in their own cubicles with frosted glass doors and the sink is in the room itself. This doesn't give much privacy when going to the toilet but it isn't really an issue. The room has all the usual things you'd expect in a hotel, safe, mini bar, toiletries etc except for an iron. It's location is on one of the main streets in the centre, passeig de gràcia, just a few minutes walk from plaça catalunya and the top of la rambla. It's also a very short walk to the two Gaudi buildings, la pedrera and casa batlló. We found it ideal for getting around with nearby metro stops and the a tourist bus stop right outside. Breakfast in the hotel was 16 Euros for a continental style buffet with eggs on the menu. There was a good choice and tasted nice but I wouldn't recommend it unless you want the convenience of having breakfast in the hotel.

As usual excellent performance; our room was ready despite the fact that it happened very early at 9: 00. Nice staff and friendly, we even had right to the Arabic language; Thanks again to all and next year!

Best location, staff and rooms in Barca. I won't stay anywhere else in the city. Highly recommended. Don' t listen to the few bad reviews. This hotel does not disappoint.

The worst of the worst, a reception in a first floor, glasses of wine with cigars and suite, horrible food, dingy decor. Horrible. Not 5 * or shit.

Awesome! excelent location, nice staff and very large and stylish rooms.

Glass basins were not clean or sealed toilet, the shower had a lot of rust, reception is attached to the breakfast room, so everyone who enters and leaves sees you eating and odors reach the entire stay (reception, reading room and dining room that is all together). The terrace is closed for refurbishment and the entrance on Paseo de Gracia was all raised. Not they provided us no information about this and when we asked for another room on the subject of cleaning told us that it was not possible for availability and or they condescend to send anyone to clean. A 5 star outrageous.

Very bad phone service. We made a call from Switzerland and afar 30 min waiting for the right person, we had a bill of 116.00 CHF (100EURO)! Not the right way to make money.

Location +++++ Not a 5 star hotel, more like a 4. Nice room but also a bathtub in the middle of the room? Is it cool? Yes Practical? No Outdoor jacuzzi on the fifth floor ;-).

It is not bad, we were rebound but got an inner silver 6 view room and the room was very small. The bathroom inside the room, which makes it very uncomfortable for a couple and little privacy. To be a 5 star hotel I didn't see you comforts or breadth in terms of that. The dryer was very dirty and the walls (white) also were dirty. Saw something dejadete although I was told that the hotel had been open 3 years approx.

Anything recommended. Not about far from any 4 or 5 star hotel in Barcelona. Positive: Location and price. Negative: Design of "all one hundred", all in a very bad state of conservation, starting from the reception desk, all scratched. Very tight spaces, the restaurant and reception are almost together. Small room, little light and little functional, the bathroom and the shower are integrated in the room and the window to the outside locked to not be able to open, as it gives to the paseo de gracia, so you can well imagine that happens with all the moisture from your shower or odors from the toilet, the sinks are very small and uncomfortable, to support the bag or anything you have to use one of the 2 sinks, the that you are not using, since there is no other thing… The shower is "rain", what happens is that this type of showers is that removing them from time to time by the cal, but are blocked, it is what I had to do it myself, because I didn't go out or water down the middle of the holes. In terms of the staff, tour the hotel with a walkie-internal communication at full volume, I woke up all the days that pass there, you hear a lot of noise from the corridors in the rooms and in reception are not too pleasant.

Why the hotel 5 stars (*) has me is rätselhat. The design is completely unusable (is this art or can use it on the garbage? ) and there is no lobby. At least have the Internet. The hotel is expensive and really not recommended. Another hotel who wants to spend a few lovely days in Barcelona should choose in any case. This is a waste of money.
