Our hotel room was in the older building and quite small and basic but staff were very lovely and really helpful.

It was a good bed and breakfast, not much amenities, we were on the ninth floor and we had an spectacular view. The attendants were very friendly and the sangria delicious.

Lovely view from the terrace and good, central location, friendly staff… BUT the room was like a cheap motel, the drains really stank, the breakfast was very basic and certainly unimaginative (sad when you consider how close the hotel is to an excellent food market). My husband’s hay fever started up every time we came into the room. We won’t stay here again and would advise you not to either.

+ The hotel is quite cheap for the good location. — The rooms were VERY noisy (Flamencoshow next to the Hotel till midnight), the room wasn't clean (blankets and towels), breakfest was okay but nothing great… For a few days Barcelona it fits the vital needs.

The hotel is located in a strategic location, in fact it is directly on the Rambla.
The reception is available 24 hours a day, but some staff members do not speak English.
The rooms are basic: the bed is quite comfortable and the cleanliness is discreet.
Breakfast is quite plentiful and varied; the only flaw is that some products are packaged.

Really lovely location right at the Rambla! Breakfast was good with freshly pressed orange juice and a medium selection of breakfast possibilities. The rooms were nice and big, but were are bit old and could use some car — nothing to the downside though! Only minus for the rooms were the kinda used and pressed out beds. They were not bad, but you could definitely feel they were a couple of years old.

We stayed in Ramblas Hotel from July 9 to July 13, and had good stay there until last day. We had the hotel to arrange taxi for us to get to Barcelona airport. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of taxis available just outside the hotel, we definitely could just step outside and took a taxi right away. But we thought it could be better as it would be worry-free if the hotel arrange a taxi for us. But we were totally wrong. The hotel didn't tell us there was any extra charge on it and arranged a disqualified taxi driver for us. He charged me too much for the trip from Ramblas hotel to Barcelona airport. It should be around euro$25 but he charged me $40 and refused to give us the receipt. When I questioned him, he insisted the extra charge was for the hotel and it was the fault of the hotel not telling us the truth instead of himself. He even threatened us we couldn't leave until we paid that money. We were in hurry to catch up our flight and I had two accompanying kids, so I had no choice to pay him without the receipt at that time. We had a good stay at the hotel, but the above taxi experience almost ruined our pleasure of this trip. His behavior is not acceptable. We are very disappointed at this taxi service the hotel arranged. The driver is even not qualified for providing taxi service. It would be really appreciated if the hotel could help me complain that taxi driver and prevent it from happening again to any other tourists.

Very Central. Clean, but unfortunately not up to the standard we're used to. Looks as though it is in better condition than some of the other hotels around this area, even though we haven't looked in the other Hotel foyers.

Very dated rooms and the food is awful! The hall floor covering was wood laminate and guests with an early morning flight wake you up with suitcases rolling along the laminate floor. Every day we were awoken at 4am with early morning checkouts. Waiter serving food outside seating area need a lesson in customer service! Shame about the hotel as it has potential to be a very lovely building just needs a massive cash injection and new staff.

A hotel that takes 5 stars for the location, a rare mix of staff where some are super friendly and others leave a lot to be desired, just 3 stars, simple breakfast in a friendly atmosphere, the room itself and taken out of comfortable context, Spacious, no double bed, 2 twin together, recently renovated bathroom, very poor amenities and low quality, now the worst, the room has no ventilation, gives a black hole 1, 5 x 2 meters 7 stories high, if you're claustrophobic you kill, really impossible to let believe that it is enabled a hotel with this type of rooms, in this aspect hardly a poor star.

The location is perfect. Simple but tidy. That's all you need.

What a lovely hotel right in the middle of Las Rambles. Good breakfasts too from very helpful and friendly staff. On one morning the breakfast room was full so the manager set a table for us in the restaurant. Great service.

We stayed at the hotel from 9 to 12 May 2017. It has an excellent location, but both the reception staff and the one who attend the rooms frequently expressed rudeness, little predisposed to treat guests cordially, and sometimes even came to have attitudes and answers from Abuse. In addition, some employees had little understanding of the Spanish language, which difficult the possibility of communicating with them. Even though the rate was included in the service, there was no access to Wi-Fi in the rooms, and not only did they not solve or cater our claims, but they even came to tell us that the lack of connection to the network was not for a hotel problem but for a probl EMA of our teams. We could not only access the placing network in the lobby. This situation made our stay at that hotel quite frustrating. Cleanliness in general should be taken into account. For the poor attention they gave us I do not recommend it as an option to stay in Barcelona.

Excellent location and the attention of the reception staff and breakfast bar.
However the maid in my room has a bad way and is ill-bred.

Recommended, hotel more than acceptable and location unbeatable we stayed 1 year 4 nights, the staff is very friendly, the hotel and rooms is not very modern although it is well arranged neat and clean, the breakfast quite full and varied very good, and the location For a tourist is unbeatable, I do not think there is better location than this hotel, we stayed 3 nights and then we went to Andorra some days, I forgot the charger of my phone plugged in and mail me if I could save it and then again a More night, returning I returned the charger in perfect condition, very attentive the truth, also led us to some tourist areas and bus terminal, hotel more than advisable, the price currently for an Argentinian to be a 3 star is something high but Taking into account the location is justified.

Problems with the reservation and with the people who were able to manage it (a lady call Nuria, extremely impolite). Very expensive (for 2 nights 300 euros) and a small amount from this money are used for the hotel maintenance and repairs and guests comfort. With a little effort and money the hotel could be great.

Good spot to stay, great location right on La Ramblas. Rooms wernt overly exciting or well presented however was good for a short stay with the family.

The breakfast was very good. The staff… overly optimistic. We were advised to walk back to the hotel at night from Montjuic. Not only was it not easy (we had to ask several times) but it was reckless (so we were told by all those who asked)

Clean with helpful front desk.

Room during first stay was very basic. Poor air conditioner and no window. Room during second stay was much nicer with better AC and sliding door to terrace.

We got an interior room which means it had no windows or rather they accessed the building's venting system I guess. Looked ugly. You have therefore no place to dry your towels and are thus forced to bathe only once a day. The shower has no curtains and the bathroom becomes a lake unless you leave your towels on the floor. Television sucks works very little. There's Wi-Fi signal but usually no service due to overload. The breakfasts are really good. The orange juice is actual orange juice which is really rare imo. The staff is amazing in the Breakfast from entrance to exit. Great location.

All in all the hotel is not bad… It is just normal. Situated in a very crowded place… The rooms are not so big… The rooms are cleaned but not always on time (once I came back to my room at 15.30 p. M. And the maid was in the process of cleaning it… I had to wait for some time… Receptionists speak very good English, very attentive and helpful. Pros: Great location on the Ramblas. Nice overlooking views. Decent free breakfast. Cons: worn down insides, loud hallways, thin walls.

The most iconic street in Barcelona. Full of restaurants, market stalls and street artists. Beware of pickpocketing.

A very good place to walk and take pictures.

Touristy but inevitable on Barcelona!

Lots of traffic, even more tourists. Most of the shops and restaurants are overpriced. A few streets further, everything is cheaper.

Busy Place — I had fun walking along this street. You can see lots of stuff happening. If you don't like too much people, then this isn't a place for you. Food stalls, souvenir shops, and all others, you can find them all here. If you walk straight all the way through, you will get to the Columbus Monument.

The service was wonderful, the drinks were well prepared and presented to us perfectly! I would recommend everyone to visit Las Ramblas if they are in Barcelona. I will be visiting again in the future.

We stayed at the Travelodge very basic but clean and friendly, great night life in the area. Good restaurants and shops plus a short walk to the beach, easy access to the metro.

Beautiful and colorful street in the centre of Barcelona. To see and live.

This is a very excellent, large and nice and clean apartment in all the presence and very close to the city centre and a good welcome by the Chinese boy who was, thank you very much.

Nice ride when it's not too dark in the world, but in reality it overflows with constantly passing through the holy Bread for pickpockets.

The are around Las Ramblas was amazing. There were multiple open air markets nearby and a large amount of places to eat. Be careful about pickpockets though and always keep your wallet/purse close or in front of you. Multiple people get pickpocketed/robbed daily if they have a slight lapse in judgement for where they hold their belongings. Room and service can not vouch too much about though only area around.

Great Walk, I love the atmosphere that reigns there.

Over priced for the standard of facilities. Nice to look out over the market and the Ramblas.

Nice hotel with good quality rooms. Very good air-conditioning. It's a bit noisy, as could be expected on Ramblas, but it does a very good job at blocking the street noise with good quality windows.

The location was great and the service was really nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who want to stay. No complaints on this European hotel.

Always very lively, beware of pickpockets, many small stalls, most of which offer similar.

It smells a little too much tourist trap, there is nothing good local in this great avenue where the shops are chained in a well organized way.

Bad experience ask a taxi the receptionist after waiting 20 minutes and having a stop opposite comes a taxi arrives marking €15 and I refuse to take this taxi and I'm going to stop across the street.
Told him what happened to the taxi driver and which my surprise that tells me that they charge commissions to taxi drivers by calling them about €10 and it tells me that this is illegal.
Unclear if the hotel taxi driver charged €10 affects them to the client.
Very bad praxis from the hotel that has that give a service quickly to the customer and let is of commissions.
By the way the taxi driver of the stop very friendly I cost the taxi to the airport 25€

Probably the best part of Barcelona. It's definitely best to start towards more inland and make your way out to the water. There's lots of really awesome artists and street performers to look at as you're making your way out to the pier. At the end of it all there's a wonderful shopping center on the pier itself. The best attraction in Barcelona by far including Camp Nou.

This hotel has an ideal location for kicking Barcelona the only negative is the price/quality ratio, i. E. By what we pay: more than €600 for 4 nights; What hotel gives you is not at the level of the price; good but not top breakfast, rooms very small, ugly and figure towels and cleaning ok but no more…

At the end of the fishing Division there are excellent cafes. Sit at the bar and selecting from the heap of marine reptiles observed the whole process of preparation. All very fresh and tasty. Well… Rooms are very warm just in the summer of June/July/August. The climate is too weak and the Windows cannot be opened. View from the room to the backyard, but despite the super location relatively quiet. Breakfast is plentiful and heschmacklich good. Very friendly staff at breakfast as well as at reception.

I've hosted me at this hotel for work several times. In the Centre of Barcelona, close to the Gothic quarter. Great rooms and breakfast. Recommended!
