1) Staff, (especially the Tamilean boy with glasses) should be helpful instead of being visibly hostile & giving glaring stares for asking what is due to us such as Towel or a Bed with clean sheets or a Bed which is not broken! 2) Elevator needs to be reprogrammed for door to remain open for longer whenever Passengers are entering or leaving. The doors are simply slamming into the body of whoever is exiting or entering. 3) Party of 3 should NOT be put up in the same small room that is barely adequate for 2 people. In our experience, it left no room for luggage or even small stools where luggage can be kept. 4) Have long enough extension cord for the Hot water kettle so that it does not have to be kept on the floor! This is tough for seniors. 5) Try to have more Electricity Sockets in the room so that at least the floor lamp you have kept in the room can be lit up. 6) Try NOT to use guest room as storage. Our room had extra Bob Marley wall-hang portraits lying around that we had to keep aside against the window and make space for ourselves. 7) When you say room is ready for check-in, please make sure that there are Towels already for Guests to shower and continue their schedule. We had to wait for 3 hours, and ask for Towels thrice before they were given to us. 8) The basement where guests can keep their luggage for temporary storage is horrible, completely not organized, and open for theft. The Claremont Hotel needs serious renovation and upgrade of staff-attitude.

Bad experience in my life. Very rude receptionist, poor room service and maintenance. Kindly the owner of hotel look seriously on that area in order to improve your business near future.
Therefore I'm strongly advised those who wish to book this hotel think twice before make decisions.

Clean, close to markets and stores, nice place to live.

Nearer to the sight seeing places and little India. Has a super market adjacent and places to eat near by. Convenient for taking local taxis. Clean and good location for families.

Next to 24 hours groceries shop, near to the bus stop, 10 minutes walking to the subway, and nice environment.

The rooms were not up to the mark as it's shown in picture. You can find much better room in the same price. I won't recommend it. The service is also not good.

It's for middle-class. Not for richest … not comfortable for 3-4 nights. Low class. But rate is very high. Very small and dumped room. Wast breakfast quality.

The bathrooms aren't clean and need maintence. There are bugs everywhere and mostly in the shower. The TV is broken as well along with the window handles. The beds are terrible to sleep on. The cotton is rough and the pillows, hard. As we speak, I just killed an ant that was crawling on my pillow. The breakfast is cold and undercooked. They have a frigde but that's dirty as well. Nothing about this hotel is good. The rooms are smelly and dirty. Honestly, if I could give it a zero star rating, I would. Please do not be fooled by the pictures on Google. They are outdated like this hotel.

Good place as its a smoke free hotel!

Ok with the location but service is very poor. The first impression of hotel is the reception and the lady on the reception was very rude. She doesn't know that how to treat the customer. When we asked her for the Wi-Fi password, she replied like a lady with high attitude. And after the discussion when mistake was found from her side she did not even apologize for her mistake like a egoistic human being. So when you are not able to give good service to your customer then at least please reply to your customer with a smile that would be good for your business.

This hotel right in front of the Mustafa Shopping center that open 24 hrs! Quite cheap for the price and they provide free breakfast for the guest. Actually I did't really enjoy the breakfast here, but that's okay because you paid what you get right? The room is clean and the staff here is helpful.

All in all, terrible! Rooms were smelly and dark, it looked like the bathroom was not cleaned at all as there was several bandages stuck to the wall! Beds felt like you were sleeping on sandpaper, the cotton is so rough that it's like sleeping on — 1000 thread count. Beds filled with dust mites too and we woke up feeling un-refreshed and itching all over. TV had poor reception and the signal kept dropping out so we could not watch anything. Wi-Fi was slow and almost unusable. No proper place to place and open your bags! So annoying as it was hard to get clothes out of our bags. Bottom line, we wanted to move out after the first night but we had to endure for another night…

Ok place for the discounted price they give. A very usual place for a night cap if you are on a budget holiday.

We stayed here last month in December 2015, rooms bit ok bathroom is not comfortable no hand shower near the commode, after breakfast have rush nearby toilet to wash hands very untidy need to improve.

Poorly equipped, but stands at an awesome location (150m to Little India MRT and opposite Mustafa Centre)

Lost all excitement only due to this hotel. We have a three days stay at Singapore and choose claremount for stay since it is located at city center near to Mustafa shop. But the experience in the hotel was terrible. The rooms are not clean and full of dirt. Water from AC spread over the room made the room fill with moisture. Reported to the room service but they are not helpful and their attitude was too bad to their customer when we observed them during the time we waited at the lobby for check in. Also the bathrooms are full of foul smell which was not cleared after the last guest checkout the hotel. These environmental situations created critical problems to two our team members. And they lost all their tourism in Singapore… Sentosa and universal studios are the most popular destinations in Singapore and they missed those.

The facilities here are decent but the ambience is very poor. Breakfast seriously needs to be improved.

I am expected to be in Singapore with my family of four and from what replies I have read from the Owner on Google, I wanted to try Hotel Claremont. My emails are not responded to by the Claremont. Will the owner give me a good deal. I am looking for Two double rooms for a price of one family room. Is it too much asking? Neves Pereira Goa.

Nicely located at the junction near to Killiney and orchard road.

For one night only. Good location, five minutes is the subway, shopping complex, where you can eat and a great store where you can buy anything you like, working around the clock. In the Mall on the 4th floor of a large food court. The room has air conditioning, old but works. There is also a fridge, TV, kettle, 2 cups, 1 large wardrobe, bedside table, coffee table, safe, scales. The bathroom has hot and cold water. Two towels. The room had one window opened for ventilation. The hotel has only Breakfast is quite edible. Was secured to take iron, 10 s $. The Deposit upon delivery of the iron is fully returned. There is free Wi-Fi. Did not like that the room was poorly cleaned, dirty shower and walls, dirty toilet and sink. Old plumbing. Tech the shower, but wash did not interfere. Smudges and cracks on the ceiling. The room is old and dirty furniture. Tattered Wallpaper on the walls. Even the safe in the closet was terribly dirty, as well as scales. The impression that the room is almost never clean. The room had a damp smell. There were many insects: large and small cockroaches, mosquitoes, spiders. In General will not be bored. The handle of the window, hung out, had to put a piece of paper so tightly closed. Broken curtain rail, curtains were not recorded on the sides, closed by themselves.

Staff are not friendly at all. Not that clean, bad odour and there are cockroaches too. Bed is too hard. Poor choice of breakfast menu, not tasty at all. Free Wi-Fi and close to Angullia Mosque are the only plus points. Regret staying had such a bad experience.

A nice play to stay @ little india, Singapore.

Free Wi-Fi and brakfast 0.20 sec. In masjid and oyr side mustufa supar market it is a big market.

Would be Better if the breakfast not only indian foods. My kids didn't like the breakfast : (they only could eat boiled egg, how come 5 days only eat boiled eggs on breakfast : ( The advantage didn't need much time to reach The Mustafa Centre.
