Fantastic place to lay your head between flights or as the perfect base to explore Singapore. Great staff, clean, comfortable — just brilliant!

They have no common sense. No humanity. They are not able to manage guests and they're problem.

Just oklah but free parking provided evan small budget hotel the most I like.

Good location, friendly staff helped out with some booking issue with a smile.

Hotel 81 is exactly a two star hotel. The accommodations are small. The wet washroom is really tight. The premises are neat but greatly aged and worn down (chipped/peeling furniture, mold in corners, dust on walls etc). There are no frills, aside from a kettle and some instant coffee. They recommended doing laundry in the alley around the corner at some coin machines. You get what you pay for (or rather, what you don't pay for). Private rooms in pod hotels offer more benefits, like free breakfast, free laundry and a water cooler for less money. Don't really recommend this place as you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Good location, close to the metro station which goes to the center (marina bay etc) or possible to walk in 30 min. Around little Arabia, but restaurants are expensive in that area. Hotel not bad, but a bit old and smelly. For 2 nights it is fine, but longer… maybe not a good idea.

Along middle road, Room 307, bed for 2, a TV with singtel cable, Wi-Fi, electric kattle, air conditioned, standing shower next to toilet and has hot water. Front desk service only.

Cramped small rooms! but very nice location! near every tourist destinations.

Good location in downtown Singapore. Walking Distance from many of important locations. But. Rooms are small. No breakfast. No dinner. : (

Although the location is good but it's very bad experience. Bathroom is small and smelly. They have Wi-Fi but it is terrible. Experience is very poor, the toilet is very small and serious odor, wash table leakage, Wi-Fi network signal display full but completely can not run, with the counter reaction he just said no way, double room only pay a bottle of water.

We had a pretty horrible stay here considering the other options in the area. At first we though it might even be a rent-by-the night for ladies and men in the area. Regardless, there were cigarette butts in the outdoor shower, no bathroom amenities, and a room that barely fit two people and our bags. The sheets were clean and the staff was nice enough, but for the price they charged we would have been better off staying at a holiday inn express. Suggestion — find a better hotel for the money.

Service and staff attitude is poor. After registration (8 December 2016) open the door, the room did not clean up, all the things at sixes and sevens, downstairs and the desk attendant theory, he said that we have to check in the morning, of course, but he has not been clear to say such words. I said I only paid five minutes ago. Check in, come in the morning. I asked for a change of room. Haughty judgmental front desk staff was enough to make me cancel a reservation and find another hotel.

I would like to complaint it. Service very bad, staff unpolite, midnight shift staff a boy which hv wear glasses & a lady, they attitude speak to customer very rude, especially the boy sound very loud he score my friend at front reception desk thr, that time still hv other customer around thr. Besides that, the boy didn't gv my friends come to my room, not allowed visitor to visit the room, and he restrictions my friend came down 15min. Omg, what kind of attitude is this? When my friend late a bit down, the boy call through my room, he speak very rude and sound feel very angry score us. I very unhappy with his attitude, no polite and no professional as all, at least you can speak softly with excuse me, but you never. I also study and working as hospitality management, i'm not so professional but at least I know how to serve guest property, never using higher voices talk to guest and respect guest.

This hotel doesn't deserve any star at all, not even a star. But fyi, I wish if anyone is planning to stay in this hotel, I'd rather go for fragrance branch, which is cheaper and has more nicer staffs. At least, they are neat and clean. Right after I opened the door, I could see dusts on the table. Sad that I cannot upload any photo. I could hear people having sex, their voice just filled up the entire hallway. I could clearly hear people talking from the next door. They weren't even raising their voice, If I could understand their language, I'm sure I can even have a conversation without making raising my voice. I could hear them using hair dryer, TV sounds. Etc I couldn't sleep until 3 in the morning. It was just horrible, staffs were unfriendly, they were pretty much sarcastic, talked shits about me right at the back, assuming that I cannot understand a bit of their language (Chinese). Overall, it was horrible and believe no one deserves to be treated in this way.

The rooms are really small. The bathroom and shower are the same — you basically shower over the toilet. This is a love hotel, i. E. People check in for a couple of hours and leave. NOT a place for a family or vacationing. There are plenty of other hotels in this price range and nearby Chinatown that are far more pleasant and have better service with larger rooms. Bottom line very depressing room and hotel, I would never go there again.
