The experience we had it’s awful room 2501. Customer service very poor. Because of the hotel negligence my mother got ill and now she can’t even do Umrah or go out to eat. We spend all day in hospital and going to get food then pharmacies etc. We are really disappointed by the service we received and my mother got sick by the negligence. We asked them if they can change the room or if can include only my mother food for lunch and dinner too and they refused to do anything. We complain to duty manager Mr. Omer he was rude and mentioned that he will speak to authorities and within half an hour they will update which they never did I called twice reception to check up on still no reply then went down to face to face to get an update then Duty manager said huger authorities rejected our request to add food on her room as she cannot move and have food at the moment because of hotel negligence. We requested to give us references number for the complain or print out so we can take it further manager refused to give. For international 5 start hotel such as hotel customer service is unexpected. They won’t change the room neither offer any compensation or log a complain or add food service temporarily for my mother who is 60 years old. We are very disappointed by the service.

Very bad & slow service The room has terrace which is dirty and closed. So basically we have got no view in the room!

I had two nights in this hotel, The location is very close to Al Harm, The reception team is very professional and cooperative, especially Miss Zainab, The rooms are Large with high quality of furniture, every employee there is working to satisfy hotel guests, I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, I had a wonderful time last 4 days. Impeccable service, elegant setting and a really lovely breakfast. Everything was close to perfect, Amazing room, food and service. We had a fantastic time… Only negative side is language problem. Especially security staff can’t speak English at all, So I found it very hard to communicate with them when I needed helped few time. But overall it was a nice stay!

My first day experience wasn’t good
The security didn’t let me enter the building because they thought I am lying about having reservation even tho I showed them my reservation 2 times and they sent me on wrong route and I had to pay 100 for parking
Second day my floor and 16 other floors lost power and water for 4 hours and there was no one came to tell us about it and when I called reception they didn’t know anything about it.

Alhumdulilah my stay was excellent, very large room and beautiful Haram view. One thing that was an issue was shower was not sealed properly so water flooded in bathroom few times. Other than that, pleasant experience the breakfast was great and staff was friendly. Although hotel is right in front of Haram, it is quite a long walk from floor 31 (nearly 20 minutes walk! ). I would request next time to be placed in a closer room on a lower level, inshallah. Definitely 5 stars hotel.

Fairmont clock tower is an excellent hotel… every thing is superb breakfast is too much lavish… the environment is very good and the staff is too caring and provide us with everything and comfort… masha Allah nice nice nice.

Nice place and great service. Super close to Haram. Only four stars because the wait time to take an elevator was way too long and for the silly guy from house keeping who kept Knocking on the door and when we didn't open he kept calling the room while the prayers was taking place. Sheesh are we supposed to stop praying to open the door?. On the plus side, the front desk was super professional. The food was amazing. The rooms were super clean. Beds were very comfortable. A++++++ place.

I have dietary restrictions and got special treatment from chef Ayman who kindly fixed me a plate everyday for dinner. We were always welcomed to the restaurant by ideees and Ibrahim who did anything necessary to make me comfortable. Also our waiter, Riaz Hussein was on his toes for me. I always have so much anxiety about eating out, but this staff made it very pleasant الحمد اللة

The best Hotel I have stayed in Makkah by far. The rooms and bathrooms and clean and modern and stylish. Service is good and staff have a good attitude. The bed mattress is amazing soft and comfortable. Although it can take a while to get to the Haram, due to multiple lifts and the crowds, the comfort and luxury and offers over shadows this. Breakfast and dinner options are good with many choices. Views are amazing. My only gripe about this hotel is the fact the it doesn’t have Nutella for breakfast. Not much to complain about really. Try requesting good view.

MashaAllah this was by far the best 5 star experience of my long travelling career. The hotel is an epitome of luxury and comfort. The wide range of cuisines served at the hotel restaurant are a delight. The food and beverages manager Mr. Owais Mulla was ever present and cooperative and fulfilling all our requests. And was supported by an extremely professional and hardworking team, especially Hafiz and
Miss. Ghadeer who took good care of us. Would recommend to one and all to stay in Fairmont if you are visiting Makkah for haj and Umrah.

The hotel and room was nice. The view of the Kaaba was the only reason why I didn't give the rating one star. We arrived at noon and by 4pm our room was not ready. I had to make an upgrade to check in the same room type but with "gold" services which I did not need. Unless you arrive after 4 or 5pm, and willing to a lot more than the average 5 stars hotels near by, I suggest you look somewhere else.

It's a big hotel. A mosque with a chic view of Kabba. The food is super. The rooms are spacious and clean. Service at a serious level.

Hotel on the grounds of the Al-Haram Mosque. The food is great in the restaurant from the hotel. The rooms are clean and always fresh linen and towel. Always tea, coffee, sugar, milk from the hotel. From the window view of the Kaaba. I left the hotel in Al Haram.

Unfortunately Fairmont service level has been depreciating day by day and that's can be clearly noticed in the hotel rating. No one wants to listen and that I had to write all my issues here. The ladies at the booking desk are trained on how to be rude. Worse is the customer service ladies who are trained on blocking any guest of reaching to the management. When I asked to speak to the hotel manager, she simply refused and said "I can't transfer your call". Why is hiding then?! Don't want know guests' feedback?! Then I had to write my feedback here. "Hotel" is all about services. If the hotel cannot provide a customer service then this building is a voluntary paid prison. Better options is to go for Raffles Palace or Makkah Conrad.

It's without any doubt Best Hotel to stay in Makkah. Close proximity to Mosque and rooms have an Amazing view of Kaaba without any obstruction. The staff is courteous and responsive. Facilities are top notch. Rooms are highly comfortable and well equipped with all necessary amenities.

Nice luxury stays in Makkah. Walking distance of less than a minute and breath taking view of Kaba. Very beautiful interior. Staffs arr also very professional and well behaved. Highly recommend.

Hello there is a good service
You can pray in front of Mecca.

Location is very nice. Friendly staff. Breakfast is superb. Only problem is elevators which are always busy. Also it's not possible to reach there easily. Most roads are closed and need very experienced driver from Mecca itself to drive you there. Another issue is that there's no rules for prices for example I booked from website to find some guests there already paid less for the same room with late booking.

Things to improve: buffet breakfast lack of fresh fruit and more choices.

In brief, it is a place where you can find your save heaven but with heavy budget during haj days. Apart from in off season like if your visiting in beginning of the year it is usually will be less. Services here you will find to be very thankful for so no worries in that department. Good luck.

The opportunity to be so close to the house of Allah. Blessed to be here The people are good Service is great Only concern would be the level at which your stay at. The higher you will be the longer it will take to get the elevators to come to you. The only reason the stay would be not a five is due to the delay in helping out with my issue. I needed to contact the customer service department from the phone. Then went to front desk and they didn't know what I was asking them. So I decided to switch my hotel. I was here for a week. So I didn't mind switching. But the hotel is lit up.

To visit here is the dream of every Muslim.

Such a beautiful place in a great location, next to the mosque. Situated in a shopping centre, it’s very convenient to do shopping while coming and going to the mosque… The rooms are mosque facing. So you can see Kaaba from every room… there are so many options for food… great place.

My family and I stayed in the Fairmont hotel, located inside the clock tower. We stayed in a triple room, which means there are 3 beds, still one room, and there was plenty of area for all 3 of us to enjoy the modern and luxurious hotel. Our view wasn’t fantastic, but it wasn’t really a necessity. The bathroom is clean and upscale, and the toilet, STANDING shower, and sink are all separated by doors which is simply fantastic. The beds are soft, and pillows are memory foam. There is also a TV, but we didn’t find ourselves to ever be using it. If you’re into it, it’s there. There is also a large shopping mall with a grocery store, where you can buy almost anything you could imagine. The food court here is all run by fast food chains (mostly), so there isn’t really much room for healthy eating. Alternatively, the hotel has buffers inside (not in food court) which provide breakfast and dinner which may be slightly more healthy than what you can find in a food court. All in all, the hotel is fantastic and is highly recommended.

Lot's of shops in the clock tower, all ridiculously over priced. Hotel was nice, 5 star to Saudi standards (but on par with UK 3-4 star). Nice inclusive breakfast selection, staff are good. One issue is that there are too many beggars loitering outside the complex of the clock tower harassing passer's by. I'm all for giving charity, but a few local Arab's pre warned us about professional begging and how it is best not to give. Also if you are from the UK avoid 3-4 star hotels in Saudi as most of them are a real dive and not to our standards. If you are on your own, you could rough it possibly in a cheaper hotel, but they are further from the centre. I had my wife and four children on tow so this was best for us. Close to the centre and nice.

Close to Al Haram which is very important. Perfect Service, very clean and friendly staff.

The best there is available. It is literally part of Kaaba, and that can create problems at rush hours during Hajj when the police close the entry gates of Haram an hour before prayer time. If you happen to be outside Haram during that time you will have to wait on the road for 1-2 hours. Explaining to the Shurta (police) that you are staying in the hotel won't help.

The room is good but small, even I've paid for the three bedrooms room. The worst part is when I asked for late checkout 2pm. They asked for paying half day, or I need to meet with the manager to beg for the extra 2 hours.

One star for room amenities and another for location. Management of the hotel sucks big time. It is ok for them to downgrade your room, and not bothered to tell you. BE AWARE of the Ka'aba view rooms, as most of the hotel rooms aren't. But They still rent them as kaaba view. Check in took 25 minutes, despite it was already paid for.

Makkah clock tower is an awesome place to enjoy the beauty of the world. As we know it is one of the top 10 tallest buildings in the world so it is a good spot to see almost the whole of Makkah. It has a lot of luxurious facilities. It also a good spot to see the kaabah, the holy place of Islam.

Worst hotel ever, No parking. They two my car after I waited for more than 3 hours waiting for the guys who are responsible for the hotel parking. They promised me to find me a spot for my car. Later on I found out they parked punch of cars they came after me and my car is gone. I asked for an extra bed. I didn't get it. I asked for a wheel chair. Twice, I didn't get it. Lifts are super slow. Windows are super dirty. I don't recommend even for my worst enemy. Would never come here again.

Amazing, beautiful and convenient proximity to the holy mosque. It's has all you need under one roof. Food, shopping and accommodations while having sights and sounds of the holy right from your bed.

Lifts are dead slow, mostly switched off even in rush hours, few that are kept on are tooooo crowded. Food court has limited seating capacity. In Ramadan and Hajj season people have to sit on ground to have food, frequently to be asked to move DURING food by ill mannered Egyptian Floor Managers.

I have been there. And one of the nice place. Specially in night when the light turns green then it feels so amazing to be the witness of that special moment.

Amazing experience. Hotel has the best location, very close to AlHaram. Our room has a great view for the Holy Kaaba. Breakfast is delicious and all staff are kind and quickly respond to any complaints. Hotel has a Prayer area which has a good capacity and beautiful design.

Bad emplyees, bad services and the hotel shall be 1 star. The only good thing about it, is being close to Haram. I asked for Triple room, they gave me a double room which is already occupied by two males. This is first time it happened to me entering a room which is already occupied by someone, the worse thing I was with my family. I went back to hotel staff and they gave me double room with very bad extra bed. I ask for the duty manager to resolve the situation without reply. Then I started shouting. My problem was resolved after suffering for 12 hours by giving me triple room without any compensation. Also, they charge SAR 50 per day for internet access. omg the worst ever experience in 5 star hotel.

I stayed their with my family and kids. This is the worst hotel expiriance ever in my life. Managers NAIF SALEM and manager KHAIRY AHMED are very bad person for ture matter. Because they took from me six bed money but they give four bed. This is not only matter — even I was booked one extra room for few hour and it was paid but they are not given me this room. They say you are not sleeped that's way we are sale again. I told then before 2.00pm this is my room if I stay or not, I booked this room only for my 2 hour rest now 10.00am in morning, why you sale my room. They ignoor me. No any appologis. All together I loss there 2 bed six night and 2 bed extra room one night. Just I can't belive why this inside management is very poor? Manager NAIF SALEM & KHAIRY AHMED is for management. Where is my money gone?

Bad service! The only reason I would recommend this to anyone is that its close to the Haram. The people specially the wannabe security guards are very arrogant, and unhelpful. We faced a terrible time to get our car. Had to plea with the security guys several times. You will see these security guards smoking in the non smoking areas. If you're not saudi you can't say anything to them. The facility is very clean inside and the non arab workers are very helpful. The Prayer Hall is also a huge convenience.

If I think positively then nothing can stand beside it, & if I think negatively then nothing is worst then this. Our aim should be the propose we go for, these things should NOT affect any of our feeling. Tell me "think about it" since we born, since we started admire things around us, did not we complain about everything. I guess I should say ALLHAMDULEILLA he rub Ul ahlameen, we use to walk from so far and now 10 steps ahead of us is house of ALLAH… I hope I have not hurt anyone's feeling, just remember umma Ul Muslims, me and my family in your goods thoughts, in your dua'aa. May ALLAH give all of us strength, bring us to his house. Aaaameen.

Very tough to reach to entrance by car and special treatment for guests to have a better experience. If you are on foot getting through the mall also no proper signs to tell where the hotel lift versus other hotels in the same towers area and much better cost. Check in for sure is not one of the best experiences you could have, you don't feel privileged at all even if you are Fairmont Presidents club member. The worst is the SCAM of city view versus Haram view! Upon arrival we discovered that we opt to pay extra on a partial Haram view (construction area) with privacy compromised as we could be seen by other rooms and other towers! And then you had the argument "sorry you didn't book Kaaba view! " I did feel like being robbed! The breakfast was good. You can never have a 24 hours stay as check in and check out policy is xxxxx. I did regret not using another chain as not much of Fairmont spirit is there.

Was surprised with the level of service at this Fairmont! Check-in was really slow! Actually too slow. Rooms: nothing special. Nothing different from the other cheaper hotel near by. The pillows, the bed, not the Fairmont standard I expected. Whenever I needed to call room service I had to call them 6 or 7 times for somebody to pickup. The staff where helpful and friendly but I believe they can't keep up with the workload.

There is nothing that someone may like in this hotel except the closeness to the Haram. Check in was extremely terrible so slow the receptionist looked confused, it took ages! Room sevice is terrible as well. The staff in every hotel would do anything they can so that the visitor is satisfied. In this hotel the staff would literally ignore your concerns and complains! In the breakfast I asked the one who is making the omelette to add fresh pepper to the eggs, he basically ignored. Every thing in this hotel is bad. By the way, the Wi-Fi is horrible, since I arrived I used my own data package.

DEAR management team. i was really excited to visit makkah after a whole 15 years from my last omrah. So I decided to choose this magnificent location of fairmont abraj al beit. actually it was awesome apart from the initial arrival at the hotel reception where I was hosted by this receptionist called Raeid. I made my reservation online and booked a junior suite for my husband and 2 toddlers. Our trip was a bit tiring and when we arrived I was very disappointed by this host who wouldn't agree to allow us into our suite claiming that we have to wait till 5 pm. Putting into consideration that we arrived at 2 pm. With my husband already in eh ram clothing and the kids tried and want to sleep. I know this is definitely not the policy in this spiritual place where we all try to act our best being inside ALLAH''s holly house. My husband wasn't convinced that there were no vacancies if our suite wasn't yet ready. Another host received our concern and was very gentle and understanding and to our surprise we found our suite ready in 5 min and were in after wasting more than 45 min negotiating with this first person. I really cant understand why some people can make things harder on others. Anyway this gentleman name is B. Alhindi whom I would like to greet through this review. Keep up the good work. Thanks. apart from this incident. I really loved the place and will come again every time I come for om-rah or hajj inshallah.

I do not like it. Its too huge and hide the beauty of masid-e — Haram. Last time I went Makkah in 1995 and Masjid-e-Haram was looking more prominent and beautiful without these big buildings around. But now in 2014 bit seems that these huge buildings are falling on us.

I'm going 3 times it is of good service.
