Quite cozy; If your plan is to be a sleeping beauty for your day off, this is a nice place for you. They don't allow music/speaker (not sure how strict they are regarding these, but we've experienced it today).

Cozy facility and staff are helpful and accomodating.

Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Furniture are not of luxury-type but are comfortable. Good for weekend staycation or big family gathering or perhaps a party.

Nice place to stay. Affordable and easy access to nearby malls.

Good shisha and food. Rooms are spacious and we'll equipped. Room service is very helpful and will make dishes that are not on the menu if you ask them!

I have been in fusion resturante. And its good one with alot of choices and friendly staff.

If you're on a budget and want to hold gatherings for friends and family, Governors offer great prices and wide areas rooms.

Beautiful place. Ideal venue for staycation for family and friends and colleagues. Nice pool. Good people. Nicely located just walking distance from City Center.

The person in charge in the swimming pool is not wearing a proper swimming attire. He did not give proper instructions beforehand. He let other guests swim who were more than six people (opposing to his previous statement).

The Governor… company accommodated me in that hotel for a month. 25th floor, nice view, just don't get a room on the north side. With the construction ongoing some nights can be tricky when the concrete pump is running. 2 stars for several reasons: Compared to most of the hotels downtown West Bay, the Governor looks the oldest. Could be refurbished… the rooms are huge, that's the owner's major argument. 120 square meters for a 2-bedroom. For sure you have place. The website says fully furnished kitchen, iron… etc. I can tell you somerhing: it is not fully but badly semi furnished. 3 plates, 3 forks, 2 knifes, 1 spool, 1 pan and that's it. No iron and so on. Review your website or ugrade your kitchen tools. It is allowed to smoke on each floor lobby… and it smells in the room! — I'm going to stop here. Just ask for a tour and compare to what you have seen around here… … you can forget the Governor.

A great place to stay and enjoy life in the city. Very near to city center. Great warm-watered swimming pool!

Like many other hotels in westbay, Governor suits is also a luxury hotel. The property is little old and they need to improve the ambience. Rest everything is great!

Price is very reasonable. I like the spacious living room and bedrooms. A Very good place for family weekend getaway and group activities.

Value for your money. Good place to stay for holidays.

This is actually one of our favorite hotels to travel to because we drive here in the evening after a work and we just get to relax. What's awesome is we had free Wi-Fi at the hotel which is always a plus. The bathroom was really clean and the room was perfect. They had super high ceilings and that's awesome when you're 6'10 and want to stretch. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I always enjoy staying here!

I only went for an evening meal. The lift got stuck so my friend and I jumped out… my friends heel broke off her shoe! The staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean. Food was OK … big portions with a salad and sweet buffet. Don't think I'll be going again… nothing bad but nothing amazing!

The service is of high quality. You feel at home. You are respect as a guest.

The worst ever super duper bad services! The staff are aren’t approachable. I felt that they are racis because we are filipino and our requests are doesn’t matter. When you call for service 3 rings aren’t answered. We are even told that we ‘ll get charge for the balnkets that get stained. We came here for swimming with our kids. Their policies aren’t consistent we all did swim with our own swim suite last night and then when we come this morning we aren’t allowed to swim with our decent swimmers ourfit unless we worn sleeveless. We are Muslim and I thought respect is that much matter!

Smell fishy due to poor housekeeping and old structure building, spacious rooms, friendly staff except the going around security during at night are no manners, swimming pool is not too small to fit 2 family of 6 person and loaded of heavy chlorine. Average food.

Rooms are good for party functions, small gathering or any family get together.

The management — Well, hello! It is very unfortunate that my family has to experience your horrible service today. We booked a 2-room suite to rest, relax and enjoy the Eid holiday, but here we are amongst the many 'stranded guests' at your crowded lobby. Why? No rooms available. Why? The rooms are not yet cleaned. Seriously? It has been more than 6 hours since check-out time and the rooms are not yet cleaned? No rooms. No refund. Terrible! It's been over 3 hours of waiting, and yet there is no assurance if we can get the rooms we've 'reserved'. The kids who were excited hours ago are getting sad and impatient. And the reception people can only say 'we will just call you when a room becomes available'. And guess what? We are number 18 on the waiting list. This clearly is poor management!

Very spacious apartment, I booked a two bedroom but on arrival was upgraded to a three bedroom apartment which was very nice. Views were amazing. They can work on their front service doorman, front desk, etc. I called reception a few times and no one answered, I had to go down to get assistance. Otherwise friendly staff, loved the Arabic coffee and dates served to guests all day.

Very good option for a family stay, big apartment available. Good restaurant in first floor. In a Very fancy district, close to city center mall only 5 minutes walk, I really recommend it for anyone who comes to Qatar …

We lived here for the last three (3) years and never planned of transferring to another suites and residences. The place is in the very heart of Doha's business District hence very accessible to anywhere.
The Management and Staff are very friendly and cooperative. They maintained good hygiene and sanitation on my Suite twice a week. Parking is spacious and the place is just three minutes walk to City Center Mall.

I appreciate the welcome of guests, and the quality of service especially the response when needed something.

Limited dining choices. Within walking distance to City Centre Mall (when the weather is decent). There's no access to the beach.

+ The best thing is the location. — Receptionists are not helpful! They should learn how to communicate to customers. — Lefts are slow and we have to wait for long time each time we leave or come in.

Arrived around 10 PM, there was no assistance for to help with check in, valet or luggage. My friends arrived during the day so the reception didn't request my passport when I arrived, so I was required to pay AGAIN for breakfast, even though I paid for it online. The extra beds are not comfortable. The management was not friendly at all during my stay.

Having spent 2 weeks at this hotel residance with my family. It's a great service it offers. Clean and staff very friendly.
Recommend.
