Horrible communication here. We are Marriott rewards members and we’re granted a 2pm checkout because of it. So far they have deactivated our keys while we were poolside and knocked on our door 4 times since 10AM despite making the staff aware of our checkout time. Disappointed.

Great hotel. This is the third time we have stayed and is always good. They follow the right Covid protocols and you feel safe. The pool is awesome and you access to the beach area via the Marriott where you have all the beach amenities (towels, chairs, umbrellas, drink service, etc. ). Overall, a great place to stay and I am sure we will be back in a few months.

Staff was rude when I brung my own music on the pool area … mostly empty, wasnt bothering no one… after spending over $500 on drinks at the bar, I will no longer make reservations to this specific marriot… see ya 0 rating.

Experience was good. Did not like the rooms. No sink in bathroom and no closet. Too far from beach, pool bar closed too early.

It was nice but the first not no hot water the power went out no microwave in room 🤦🏾‍♀️ $20 for parking even if ur a guest staying there ain’t nothing like 🇺🇸

We stayed 7 days and nobody clean up our room, however, staff are very nice and welcomy.

The hotel was ok. The room was not cleaned as requested. I haven’t received my $240 deposit back and no one answers the phone, I’ve been calling for 3 days. The front desk was nice while we were there. Not worth the money that was spent tbh.

BE WARNED! Please stay away from the AC Hotel in San Juan. This is definitely not a place to bring your family. The place is literally dirty and the poor room service is only available if you ask and lucky enough for them to show up. Some of the guests are beyond wretched (ratchets). They smoke, they make a lot noise in the middle of the night and some are not wearing their masks… I do not recommend this filthy place. They overcharge and do not worth earning your hard earned money. be warned!

This hotel has great potential, unfortunately the bad outweighs the good. When checking in, they did hold our bags until our room was ready, but could give us no indication of when that would be. Our oceanview 2 room suite had a damp smell to it during our entire stay. After calling the first 2 days, cleaning the filter, removing the rug, etc. It didn't much improve. We got 2 free breakfast ($15 each) for our trouble. We had to order a new mattress because the one on the bed had a huge dip on one side. There are only 2 tiny drawers and a small hanging bar to put away your clothes, so you have to live out of your suitcase. The hallways are freezing. The location is great, and there is plenty to walk to in the area. We did not spend much time in the hotel, but I would not stay here again.

Very nice place! The beach needed some attention. There are 2 Marriotts there and amenities should be shared. $60 day pass to beach was not expected.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. The staff was very friendly, check in was smooth and we enjoyed the complimentary drinks on the roof top. The beautiful modern rooms are spacious and quiet. This hotel is in a great location. There are several eateries in walking distance, as well as the beach. We enjoyed our vacation. We can't wait to come back.

Very nice hotel with easy access to a large variety of restaurants, and bars. Staff is fantastic. My only issue is the A/C. There are thermostats, but in my room, I could not control the temperature. If it's on it just runs and keeps the temperature at 65.

Such a beautiful hotel. It's in a neighborhood that's surrounded by lots of places to eat. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. The bathrooms are beautiful. Weird thing to point out but it's gorgeous. Glass door for the shower and a specific light for it.

I had a great time there! The sangria were great. The bathrooms luxurious. They gave me drink and casino comps. The bar by the pool on the roof was great. I didn't get to use the gym, but it looked very appealing and clean. I reccomend it to all!

5/23/18: excellent! Checked in at night front desk staff was extremely polite and professional. Tried to extend my stay from 9 night to 20 and they were unable to do so. I guess I will check out of here and go stay elsewhere. BIG CON: NO microwave in the room. I can't warm up my left overs.

I was so impressed with this hotel! The decor is modern yet very comfortable! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The pool was awesome with reclining chairs in a shallow pool. You cannot beat the price! I will be back!

The hotel is beautifully decorated. Despite, not having direct beach access, the Marriot down the street provides the beach access and the staff allowed my kid to use the slide! The staff at both locations are friendly and incredibly helpful. I really enjoyed the stay and the location was close to many great restaurants.

This hotel is awesome! Great location, great amenities, and the staff is excellent. In the heart of Condado, there is a great casual restaruant across the street, a pool deck and bar on the roof, and a breakfast and coffee spot accessible from the lobby. If you are a Gold member or above, they have free bike rental, with helmet and bike lock. I will absolutely stay here again!

The AC hotel is a very clean and modern hotel that is conveniently located. Only about a year old the place is very nice. The rooms are very modern. Tile floors, minimal look. The staff are all very nice and speak English. Taxi ride from the airport was $21.

Very good hotel. We were very happy with our stay. We got 2 complementary drinks that we've enjoyed at the pool. We also got access to the Marriott amenienties (5min walk to get there from the AC hotel). Breakfast was $15 each but it was totally worth it. Very tasty. High recommended.

Love this hotel. Modern and beautiful and the rooftop pool is great. Unlike the hotel we stayed at last year, the room wasn't tiny and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. It's a short walk to the beach and you can use the facilities at the sister hotel, The Marriott Stellaris. I will book the AC on my next visit, for sure!

Stayed at this hotel from 5-5-18 until 5-8-18 and while it was a short stay, I must say I really enjoyed the time. This hotel is very nice inside and outside. Location is amazing. We had a easy time traveling to and from places being that this hotel was centralized to all attractions. The staff are very friendly and were not shy to share where we should eat or places to see. The rooms are extremely well kept, and the beds are amazing. I stayed with four people in the double queen room. We all agreed, the mattresses were AMAZING. We all woke up feeling so great and ready for a fun filled day! At time of check in we had hotel fee of almost $80 which I was aware of before hand, at the time of booking. We also gave a $100 deposit which was returned at the time of check out. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel! Highly recommend to anyone seeking to travel on a budget, yet wants a nice experience!

These guys put up with me for more than a month. Can I please get room 530? I must say they were so helpful and poliet. Used well manners while doing business. Thanks to all the front desk. I called a million times and a million times they were always gracious. :)

Very helpful staff in a wonderful location. Offers a great business center and comfortable rooms. A pool is located on the roof and it is just steps away from Condado Beach. Given that this hotel is part of the Marriott brands, they allow visitors to use the San Juan Marriott's much larger pool facilities, which is located just a block away.

Nos hospedamos en el AC hotel para el fin de semana de la Semana Santa. El servicio fue bueno, los tragos son excelentes, a precio de hotel. La piscina del hotel se encuentra en el ultimo piso, por la que la hace una bastante fría, ya que hace viento todo el tiempo. Pero también tienes la opción de utilizar las facilidades del Marriott, el cual queda una cuadra más abajo. Esto es debido a que el AC no tiene entrada a la playa, mientras que el otro Marriott sí.

Very modern, clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and rooftop pool is clean and beach towels are readily available. You also have access to the Marriott 2 blocks down with a large pool and beach access with complementary towels and chairs.

Requested an Uber from the front lobby and security advised it was a law that uber could not pick up in front of the hotel, I acknowledged that and at that time my uber pulled up yelling out of his window to have me go down the street so I could get in his vehicle, I also understood that as well At that time when I started to walk down the street towards my uber a gentleman (well far from that) approached me in a very aggressive manner (with his fists clenched and chest pumped out) who was employed by a tourism company that provides taxi service. This company had many employees stationed outside of the hotel, on hotel property waiting for hotel guests to transport them for hire. This gentleman then started to yell at me saying how “I’m trash” for taking uber and how “uber is trash” and “us Americans brought that trashy company to his island”. The Marriott security had to separate him from me as I sat there in total shock as to what I had just heard, just because he was clearly upset I took an uber which is less money than what he would have charged me. I then called Patricia the “manager”. Patricia stated she would look into it and downplayed the fact at how I was treated on her property in which they allow taxi drivers to solicit fares on. She stated that her “security” had handled it when it was clearly obviously that her “security” was personal friends with this taxi driver and nothing came of it.

Amazing hotel. Pricing is over inflated. To bad ☹️. I really would like to support this island but it's seems likes the people want everything for free. Maybe one day there will be a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow for the island.

New clean line art deco condominium style hotel rooms. Penthouse rooftop pool, two restaurant with bar. Fitness center, yoga room and onsite laundry. Self parking or valet is available. Walking distance to many restaurants, pharmacy and night life entertainment.

Great hotel in a great location. The restaurant attached to the lobby is phenomenal. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great staff from every interaction I've had with them. The rooms are very quiet. It seems to be in a good area of Condado, and close to the beach. Lots of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. I will stay here again next time I'm in the San Juan area.

Great smelling beautiful hotel! The front desk was on point, assisting me with information. The hotel is dope. They have yoga almost daily. Friendly staff. Another good thing is it's located on the beach, near a Burger King and several restaurants. Also you can use the sister location down the street. They also have a beautiful location, casino, pools with slide, and multiple restaurants.

This hotel is awesome! Very clean, beautiful modern rooms, and very very friendly helpful staff! Much better then a resort in my opinion, they are pretty crowded, also tons of kids. I love how we had access to their sister hotel (which was a resort) so we had a chance to exeprience both. The AC hotel was very chill, awesome environment, perfect for a get away with your lover or friends! Highly recommend!

From Checking-In to Checking-Out, it was a great stay! Every single employee provide exemplary customer service. They were kind, professional and helpful. The roof top pool, gorgeous! Good location. Guests of the AC have access to the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino property. Having visited the Marriott Resort, I would choose the AC again and again. The AC is new, and has a much lower price tag. I hope the AC keeps the standard that they have set. Special thank you to Alexandra D. Who stood out as exceptional, from what is an already exception team.

This hotel turned out to be a big disappointment. We accommodated a visitor in this AC after a pleasant experience in the AC in Barcelona. The 1st surprise was a 20% charge for the availability of the"resort type" facilities in a nearby sister hotel! From then on, it was charge after charge and what really bothers is the sneaky way you run into them. For instance, I would park for a few minutes to pick up our visitor and I took the parking ticket to validate it in the front desk only to discover that they charged the room $20 each time whereas I would have paid just $3 in the parking. Only after the 3rd time when it occurred to me to confirm the courtesy parking, the manager told me almost laughing how they churn $60 extra bucks with that trick. Sneaky charges is their name or should be.

Stayed there in Feb 2015 prior to a cruise and left my jacket there. At the end of the week, I called, and they couldn't find it. When I mentioned that I had made the jacket, they "found" it in an "upstairs closet. " They sent an email with a lost-and-found form, which I filled out and sent back with my credit card info. About a month later, when I hadn't received it, I sent an email asking for a tracking number. No response. A few weeks later, I sent an email to the manager. Still no response. And still no jacket.

Not a horrible hotel overall. However, the beds are only semi comfortable while the sofa is fairly gross. While the staff is nice and very accommodating, they really need to work on some of their policies. We were in a situation where neither of our room keys worked, the housekeeper was next door so we informed her. She promptly let us in the room with out even checking that it was in fact our room. Then we went to the front desk to get new keys made. She made new keys for us and even gave us a 3rd key 'just in case'. She never even validated that it was our room. I could have said it was a different room and completely robbed someone.

Stayed there a few years ago after we got an upgrade from another hotel next to construction. The People were very nice, completely accommodating. The rooms were full with all necessary amenities. Anything we needed was quickly taken care of. Small Casino, but that's not why we were there. Rooms were spacious and clean. The view from the balcony gave us a spectacular view of the ocean! Sleeping was like a dream with the sleep numbers beds. Many things available within walking distance. Returned our rental car! We would definitely stay again the next time we were in PR.

I stayed at another hotel on the same street and this one was definitely not as nice as the first, but the price difference was the reason I stayed here. For the $$ it was the way the go. No beach, but the staff were really friendly and nice. I would stay here again because the price ya just can't beat for the location. The complimentary Drinks from the bar helped too. I would come back.

I was recently, and in general is a good hotel. Good physical infrastructure, excellent location, very friendly staff, rooms are comfortable. But my room had no fridge, there was no hair dryer while in the rooms of my travelling companions if he had. Need to change the television and phone equipment for a few more modern.

Although I didn't spend much time in the hotel except to get dressed and sleep I will say it was a great place to stay. I went for my birthday and Joan Hernandez was so polite and such a sweetheart. He wished me a happy birthday and all. If I ever return to Puerto Rico and stay in Condado I may stay here again.

My friend and I came all the way from Minnesota and we Loved this hotel! When we checked in Joan helped us and he couldn't have been more friendly! The room was absolutely beautiful, newly renovated and very clean. The breakfast in the ambassadors club was ok, nothing fancy at all. A hot item like eggs would have been nice but didn't bother us much. The pool and view was excellent! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

FIRST THE BAD: This hotel is extremely outdated. My room still had an old tube television. It also did not have a hairdryer — — something I thought was standard in all hotels. The restaurants in the lobby didn't appear to have anything I wanted to eat and the "casino" is a bunch of slot machines. There was a wet spot right outside my room the entire time I stayed that seemed to get bigger by each passing day. THE GOOD: The hotel staff, especially Daniel, was extremely pleasant and helpful. We had questions about where to eat and what to do and the staff was a tremendous help. The location — — Condado — — is perfect! The beach, restaurants, and night life are all within walking distance. Overall, the good does not outweigh the bad. I suggest you pay a little more and stay at the Marriott or the Hilton — — both on Ashford and with direct beach access.

Good good for a weekend. It is close to everything and the parking is good. I highly recommend it.
