I changed my recommendation to yes after the manager placed his own desk chair (similar to the old ones prior to the remodeling in my room) to use as an easy chair. The uncomfortable new chair is now my footrest. Otherwise the new remodeled room with walk in shower is very nice. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Pool too small to swim laps and zero handrails for the steps. Caveats: just one working elevator, which is also used for construction materials during the day on weekdays.

The worst hotel room chair I have ever experienced. Even two pillows don’t fully solve the problem since the side of the bed is too high to serve as a comfortable foot rest and there is no other chair or other piece of furniture in the room that could substitute as a footrest.
Hotel still under repair. Just one of two elevators working and that one is constantly used for the construction materials.

Staff members are absolutely great nice and helpful, although under construction they are very clean and you don’t even know they are there our room was spotless and overall a great experience and great stay Thank you can’t wait to come back.

They have a roach problem & still rent rooms. Moved rooms twice due to roaches which were seen within minutes. Then they moved us to hotel across street. They admitted the routinely spray every 2 wks for roaches. We would not of chosen to stay here if we had been informed of roach problem.

The room was ok my check in time was 300pm and my room was not clean. I had to wait. The parking was far and they had no water to drink or sold any and if you wanted something to drink like soda or water you had to go buy it cross the street in the other hotel. Not good at all. To top it off it rain and their street all around got flooded I couldn't even go out nor use my car as a boat. It was horrible $259.00 dollars wasted on a Saturday. Didn't go no where because of the flood. Worse place ever bad experience. Ruin my celebration.

Nice hotel in the middle of everything. The beach, nightclubs, casinos, restaurants, and plenty to do nustvwalking distance. They charge 16$ for on site parking, but there is plenty around the area that's free.

Great little hotel in a nice location, close to everything. The clerk that helped us during the night (sorry can’t remember his name) was SUPERB. He was really outgoing and energetic and gave us tons of tips about what to do/see/eat during our stay. The room was comfortable and really clean. The breakfast was average but that was to be expected.

Warning DONOT stay here. Here are a few things they don’t tell you about— the hotel is still under construction, there is a flood every night outside the hotel, there’s roaches, etc. When I first arrived to the hotel they put me in a room where there the sink Faucet wouldn’t turn, the TV didn’t work and the toilet relentlessly clogged. Staff Absolutely oblivious. They also wouldn’t report a crime of stolen items. Horrible.

The staff was amazingly freindly and accommodating. Very centrally located to restaurants and beach.

Clean, awesome customer service and breakfast but, just hate the small parking lot that doesn't accommodate their guest. Also need to change the design of the shower, the water splashes out onto the floor.

Clean hotel, with nice showers and a good breakfast! However the views are blocked by other buildings. Within walking distance of the beach.

I visited this hotel right after the hurricanes to help with relief efforts. The generator was turned off during the day to conserve energy which really was unbearable. I worked night shift and could not open my windows. I understand that there was an enormous ammount of people who had no power at all so it does not seem fair to leave a horrible review. The fact of the matter is that there was power available and the manager choose to place our entire night shift rescue crew on the upper levels of the hotel and still make us pay for parking every day with no water or power being available to us at all.

Funny thing happened here on May 1, 2018. Get a phone call asking us if we need room service because the cleaning ladies wanted off early to go to the protest. Whoever thought to receive a call like that. Lol.

Government employee, stayed in the hotel for disaster relief for 12 nights. When a disaster hits, you have to be grateful to even have a hotel room. But there were things that had nothing to do with the disaster that ruined my otherwise great stay at the Comfort Inn. Upon check in, my bathroom was not clean and there long hairs all over the shower, floor and toilet. Towels were not changed everyday and bathroom was not cleaned every day either, despite the manager saying they had the service even during this time. Breakfast was constantly needing restocking or cleaning and nothing would be done unless you asked for more bread or more eggs. My last day, I found a long brown hair in my hairbrush… I am a guy, traveling alone, with 2 inch black hair. I filed an incident report with the staff member and never received any kind of apology or acknowledgment from management. Nora at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Nice place to stay. Beds are very comfy. Continental breakfast with great food variety. Good services. Room done daily.

Man I want to go back just to kick it with the staff! The maintenance man from Chicago, the overnight attended from San Antonio, the afternoon attended all made my stay here enjoyable! Don't be scared of the elevator. Lmao It's not top notch, but it will do its job. Yes you might say "Oh s***! " lmao but it will get you to your floor safely. Lol I stayed in room 607. The Wi-Fi could be upgraded too, but it does work. When I go back I'm definitely going to stay here. No unexpected fees. I didn't have a car so I know nothing about the $15 parking.

This place is decent to spend your night. The location is very nice, 5 mins walk from Condado Beach.

This hotel will be good for pre and post cruise. No referigator or microwave are in the room. Rooms are very small, bathroom are clean but had a funny smell and the shower has no water pressure at all. Not a variety of things to choose from during breakfast and breakfast is to early in the morning 6:30 to 9:30 Elevators are very small and the hallway doesn't have air condition. Parking cost 15.00 a night, parking cost more than the rental car. Just use uber much cheaper.

It's far enough from the main street that it's quiet, but still close enough to get around fairly easy. The elevators were terrifying. It felt like they would break down everytime we used them. The beds were extremely hard and lumpy. The breakfast was great! Just wish they changed the menu from day to day. I stayed there for 7 days, and the breakfast was the same each day.

We stayed here for two nights. Check in was quick, the front desk agent was very knowledgable and was able to tell us about all the great local restaurants and attractions. We had a small view of the beach from our room which was a great plus. Comfy bed, I appreciated the bright lighting in the bathroom, clean room overall. Breakfast was great. Eggs, sausage, assorted cereal, fresh coffee, fresh waffles-you make them yourself which I personally appreciated — assorted pastries (the corn and chocolate chip muffins were super moist and flavorful. ) The location of this hotel is perfect. Really beautiful 5 minute walk to the beach, nice 10 minute walk to the plaza with all the bars, clubs, and restaurants, 5 minute cab ride to old San Juan. We didn't use the pool at all because the beach was so close so I can't comment on that. Overall we loved our stay here and we will definitely be staying here next time!

Place was very clean very comfortable love the bed king size nice fluffy pillows beautiful towels. Very quiet the only setback is you have to pay for parking $17 a day. They should have told me about the cost. You soon when you rent a hotel comes with parking. I have trouble Nationwide and always got parking in my hotels. I guess there's always a first. I just feel that is uncalled for you're paying high rates and not as it is… Rooms have been updated great continental breakfast also.

Don't stay here, the service is bad and there is no hospitality from the front desk. Specially at night the front desk lady was not nice at any moment. She ask about outer towel in the room, wend we did not have any towels any moment. We call the front desk several time and they never pick up the calls. The hotel in not updated it looks like a Motel. It was $130 per night and $16 por day in the mini parking lot. I don't recommend the hotel and keep away from the grumpy front desk personal, specially night shift.

Had to stay here because it was the cheapest we could find that was nearby Ashford ave and the beach in Condado. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good with fresh pastries from a bakery along with the standard hotel breakfast fare. The room was outdated and dirty. The door was open when we arrived and there were no towels in the room so we had to seek them out. The upside was that the air conditioner worked great and the bed was really comfortable.

A very nice free stay by using point, we like it! Location is good like 5 minutes walk to Condado Beach. The room they gave us has a partial view of the Condado beach that was really good. You can view Laguna del Condado as well from the hotel. The amenities were basic with a large LCD TV. We used our choice hotel points so it was completely free that's even better. Complimentary breakfast was typical and served in a bar. Everything there were a bit dated but still in good shape. Pool was nice and they let us used even after their posted time. We took taxi from and to the airport, both time their driving speed was way too fast compare to US standard. The hotel prices in San Juan are in general expensive so if you have points to use that will save you a lot. Public transportation (bus and free trolley) was not reliable and traffic can be bad too, you may wait a long time sometimes. Walking may take shorter time especially in old town and El Morro. Stayed May 2012, traveled as a couple.

I loved this hotel, excellent service and beautiful place! I will return!
