A real gem not to be missed if you are heading to Porto. We went for a long weekend and ended up spending more time in this lovely hotel than exploring the city.

This hotel was faultless. It is beautifully designed throughout, our room was exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was chefs kiss 🧑‍🍳 💋 so much choice.

We spent four days here recently on a midweek break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We thought the location was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Forte de Gaia is a beautiful hotel, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff.

Traveling by car we looked for a hotel with an easy access and a dedicated parking.

Location central to all. Bed and linen were so comfortable. Luxurious bathroom complete with bathroom amenities and bedroom slippers. Housekeeping was meticulous!

The hotel is truly designed for enjoying Porto, with its concept executed perfectly 5*****. From the reception level, it’s just a few hundred meters across the bridge to Porto’s historic old town.

We loved the position of the hotel, with lots of bars and restaurants surrounding it. The staff were so welcoming, professional and went the extra mile to be helpful.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Porto. Room was clean and well presented, kettle included. It was cleaned daily and there was even an umbrella to use if required.

Porto is such a beautiful city! Acta the Avenue was in the heart, but a little off to the side, so it was quiet — which was perfect.

We stayed over for 3 nights and it is ideally located. It's a few minutes walk from the 24 de Agosto Metro.
We stayed in a junior suite and it was spacious with lots of windows and a balcony.

Located just outside of the city, the hotel is extremely spacious and very clean to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, very clean and decorated to a high spec.

Lovely hotel, used the Metro to travel around the city and there was a free bus that dropped us off by the ocean. Hotel is clean, comfortable and very good value for money.
