I loved my stay here. You can truly tell the host put a lot of care into the space. Each bed has a curtain, even the top beds have their own staircase.

We stayed here 2 nights, I had just flown into Portugal and my friend picked me up in her camper.

The owner was delightful, and told us all about the area. Our room had access to a little terrace, with two chairs and a table.

Me and my husband had a little pitstop at Linha 22 to have a glass of green wine. It's a cute little winebar and the wine we had was great. Such a cute little place to have a drink and a snack!

This was hands down my best experience in a hostel ever. I stayed for one week and I meet the most lovely people.

We had a wonderful stay at Residencial Princesa do Ave. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, making it a great value for the price.

The hostel is very well located and just a few minutes away from the centre. Check in at 3 pm but we could store our backpacks already in the morning, so it was perfect. The host is very kind.

Good place for weary pilgrims. Smallish bunk rooms with pillows, great smelling linens and towels, all included. Each bunk had a light amd privacy curtain. Great communal rooms.

Good location for pilgrims. I'm traveling to Santiago and I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in a clean place close to everything with several restaurants and mini markets.

It is well located, just a short walk from beach, the metro, and several restaurants and cafés.

Positive: The staff was so friendly and gave me some good information to get around Porto. Good quality for price in total. Negative: It was not near city center. The bus on weekend was infrequent.

Positive: House owner is pleasant lady. Everthing is ok. Room is clean, big and for 1 or 2 weks is absolutely best.

I stayed in a private room next to the hostel while on the Camino Portuguese. I appreciated the shared kitchen facilities and there’s a large, well stocked grocery store nearby.

Stayed here on my first night of the Camino. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, very nice. When I was there — there was not a lot of places to eat, but it was off season. Good first night stop.

We arrived here doing the Camino. We were met by a very helpful gentleman who helped us find somewhere to eat and was a perfect host.

The street is close to bus stops and gives you an idea of a typical Portugal home, a superbly comfortable bed.

We loved Rivoli Cinema for a family hostel in Porto! They provided both a baby cot and highchair for our use and the staff were wonderful with our kids.

Stayed at PILOT Design Hostel & Bar for a few days and really liked the vibe. Super easy place to meet people, especially if you’re travelling solo.

Lovely hostel! I really like how the hostel is decorated and furnished.

You can go shopping just downstairs, and the location is very convenient with easy access in all directions. It’s also very close to the metro station.

Family run and cozy. Great to be able to cook breakfast, or they'll make it for you. Great location, very close to the river. Bathroom could use work. Staff was great.

Clean, modern accommodation just up the hill from the river.
It's on the Gaia side, but you can easily catch a river taxi over to the Porto side, or metro or an Uber.
