We enjoyed a great 5-night stay at the hotel during August 2025. Our sea view suite was spacious, very comfortable and had everything we required. Housekeeping staff were very attentive.

Owner Fernando Fernandes has created a small piece of heaven in Vinho Verde country. Situated in a steep valley near the Tamega river, the scene is spectacular.

We found paradise! Far away from the madding crowd, set on the side of a hill surrounded by vines and forests is this delightful farm (Quinta).

We spent two incredible days at Flamboyant B&B, and to say that everything was perfect is to say nothing — it truly exceeded all expectations.

Where do I begin? Flamboyant is such a lovely place to spend a wonderful holiday at the Portuguese Silver Coast. You get all the privacy and facilities you need for a day of relaxing or exploring.

We stayed in the handicap room which was everything we could have hoped for. It was spacious, very clean and fully equipped for handicapped guests.

The hotel itself was presented well and very clean, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed using the small pool.

Just book it! I'm a travel agent and booked this villa for my group of 20. We had fabulous service, great rooms and in a beautiful location overlooking the Douro Valley.

This place is really a get away from it all location, up a hill and narrow road (small car recommended). You have to drive out to eat and breakfast is basic.

Just pinch me. Soak up an amazing 16th century experience! The ensuited room was small and delightful, part of the original storage tower of the Castle of Obidos.

We only stayed here one night in between cities while on our honeymoon, but it might be our favorite place we stayed the whole trip. It’s a small guest house with the coolest atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a luxurious spa or water circuit experience, this might not be the right place — especially during peak times.

My wife and I spent two nights at Monverde Wine Experience Hotel in October 2025 and it was a fantastic experience.

Monverde was PHENOMENAL! True concierge-level service from start to finish. We stayed in a Wine Experience Suite with our own private pool, which was such a dream.

We had a good stay here, for the most part. The staff was lovely, unfailingly helpful and courteous. We did not have a balcony in the room, so it was a bit darker than we like, but otherwise pleasant.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Very friendly staff and good prices. The food was good and the view was great. They have quite a large but clean swimming pool.

In mid-April 2019 we visited the Foz Coa rock art archaeological park and museum and our overnight stay was at Chao D'Ordem. We had no trouble finding it (it is visible from the northbound highway).

The view from the balcony was great – overlooking both the ocean and the city. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided.

Nice hotel, clean room and good size of the room. A little bit noise outside. The breakfast started 08:00 and that is too late when on a business trip. Good price.

Lovely place to be in Nazarè.
The view is spectacular. Falling asleep and waking up with the waves noise is priceless.
