The hosts are the nicest people in Cinfaes, bringing us wine, breakfast and great tour recommendations.
If ever I am in Cinfaes, this is where I will stay!

The couple that runs the place are the nicest people! Kind, warm and welcoming! Rooms are nice, within the walls of the old city of obidos.

We recently returned from a beautifully organized ten-day vacation at Alto Paraíso in Portugal. We are a family of four and had such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend visiting.

We had such a wonderful time here with our family of four! The property itself is stunning—our kids loved running through the orchard and picking fresh fruit straight from the trees.

Spend two weeks at Casa Ciska and had a wonderful time! The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. They knew about the erea and had great recommendations.

My family and I stayed with Ann and Steen for 16 days, and We loved it and we will be back for sure. We have no words to say how wonderful was our stay at Quinta da Paixao.

Had a great nights stay here and wished we had stayed longer. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Our room was spacious with a patio that overlooked the country side.

So far on our trip down through Portugal this has been the best accommodation.
We are on a cross country motorcycle trip doing the trans-European Trail. TET.

I stayed at the Wellness Guesthouse on 11 April after a long day’s walk from Tomar. The guesthouse is literally 10 steps from the Camino de Santiago and about 4 kms north of Alvaiazere.

Words can not describe how amazing this place is.
I stayed here when visiting my family as we wanted to be closeby to Ansiao, and stumbled upon Liz, the owners amazing place.

Casa das Memorias is a delightful place to stay. It is the childhood home of Antonio, the owner. What a lovely man! Make sure you ask him for a history lesson (he used to be a teacher).

We stayed at Casa das Memorias last night (7/16/24) and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed on Camino, and this is our 2nd Camino. (SJPP to Santiago last year).

The service was amazing and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The place itself is a little slice of heaven you can relax by the pool, soak in the jacuzzi, and just enjoy being surrounded by nature.

Paula and Josep are so kind and friendly that you could feel as home. The place is just magical, views over the sea, everything you need for a perfect state!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Baleal Surf Ranch! Our family surf lesson was a highlight of our trip.

I was doing some hiking in the Douro Valley park and needed to place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the view gorgeous!

Great location on the hilltop, Douro view was amazing. Beautiful boutique property and welcoming host. Manuela was always smiling and has kept the property in good shape.

Amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our six nights and could have stayed longer! There are many places within a half hour drive, and fantastic grocery stores only 5 minutes away. A car is essential.

Amazing time — the location was so peaceful and idyllic. The pool was great and we were often the only ones using it, the same for the spa.

Everything was perfect! The room was really nice and clean, the owner was very friendly and provided excellent breakfast every morning. We've also had dinner twice there and it was delicious.

Isolated location, great for relaxation and to connect with nature. Came in the winter so it was kind of scary to get to the location with the rain, but really nice staff and accomodations.

This is an amazing place to stay for a vacation in the Douro. The rooms are beautiful and magical, with comfortable bed, crazy shower, very good smell, and perfect view.
