I was hesitant to book at first because of the bad reviews, but our stay turned out decent.
We arrived at 12 noon and asked for an early check-in, willing to pay ₱100 per hour.

I’ve stayed here many times. The location is fantastic, but the amenities are basic. Room size is fine. It’s quiet, clean, secure and the hot water is great. Housekeeping on request.

The suite was huge! long. Very spacious. I wanted to try this room just because. I have been to madeline many times. I very much love their bed and their beddings. The sheets always smell nice.

It’s a huge venue that can host 200–300 people, perfect for seminars or summits. I expected it to be hot since it’s in Butuan, but it wasn’t because the air conditioning kept the place comfortable.

Good stay for a night.
I came late travelling Surigao to Butuan. Book this while on the bus.

I visited in April for the 5th time, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are lovely and very happy to chat, the swimming pool is great.
I'm looking forward to coming back in October.

A quiet place to stay. Friendly staff, ample parking space. Buffet breakfast is ok.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of them even walked me to the nearest bakery when I asked for directions.

The rooms were also spacious enough and had industrial rustic design. Available with use of bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Water heater in enclosed shower.

Had a best experience! it was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Also the staff are kind and helpful. A nice place to stay!

Leila Pension House: Surigao del Norte.
Great location near the port! The 12-hour stay option is a plus for travelers with flexible schedules. Clean and comfortable for a budget-friendly stay.

The lights in the kitchen, dining, and sala are dim. It makes the place looks sad.

We stayed here over Chinese New Year. The place is old and is showing its age.
But that being said the rooms were spacious and functional.
Plenty of storage.
The bathroom was good.

Love this hotel, perfectly positioned for an overnight stay before you go to the airport. Staff are friendly and the rooms comfortable and well priced.

Courteous staff.
Semi spartan accommodation but personally ok.
Easily accessible are central business district food establishments, malls and souvenir shops.
Wi-Fi a little unstable.

Actually stayed in Sonly Hotel. Very good location next to KCC Mall and SM General Santos. Good pricw too.

Our stay was truly excellent. The staff were extremely accommodating, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable.

A perfect suited for family, couple and single, very clean and mentained, accomodating staff, w/ breakfast l0/10 recommended.

There were two of us in the room and we booked a single bed, it cost Php. 1, 600 with free breakfast. Their elevator is nice and polished.

From the moment of booking, everything was smooth and easy. I loved the room it was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Great place walking distance to most places. The pools are fantastic, great for kids. The staff are very friendly. And you can do your own bbq if you wish.

Nice safe Hotel. Its a little loud at times in the hallways. Breakfast was cold, or barely warm. Parking is ok. A/C can barely keep up with the heat of the day.
Staff are polite, and kind.

Manage your expectation since you will be paying for a cheap price, but when it comes to accesibility I would highly recommend the place.

Good customer service by the staff. And clean room. With Wi-Fi and there is a convenience store downstairs to buy food and etc.
They have 2 sets of towel and 2 soaps prepared on the bed.

Good value for price. Has everything you would generally need. Average sized rooms, ac, hot and cold working shower. Wifi can be a bit spotty. Breakfast is good enough.

During my two-day stay at Star Hotel in Davao City, I had a mostly pleasant experience with a few minor issues.

It's very accessible since it's in the city. There's a mall, 7/11, bar and resto nearby. The rooms are okay and cold but TVs and other appliances are outdated but still comfortable.

GV Hotel is a cheap but comfortable place to stay. It’s not very high-tech, especially the TV, but it’s good if you’re traveling on a budget and just need the basics.

You really get what you paid for. These people in the comments expecting unrealistic features are out of touch. The price is amazing for the necessities provided.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms were old but worth the price, and parking was somewhat hard. Overall totally recommended :) )
