Discovery Primea used to be a great place for staycations but I guess this pandemic really affected their service. From reservations to the actual stay it was not seamless as how it was before. I got a Klook voucher from 2020. Since the original expiration date was 2021, I asked for so many follow ups since they still weren’t open for staycations, which was reasonable. Q4 of 2021, they opened for staycations but without the breakfast buffet (only plated). It took so long for them to bring the food up since it was peak season when we booked. Almost an hour or so. Wish they just opened the buffet since it seemed like the occupancy was pretty decent that time. Food was also so-so which was sad since I really enjoyed their breakfast before. Pool is by reservation only, and unfortunately visitors aren’t allowed 😩 I still have another voucher to use but they closed staycation stays for Jan. I asked for follow ups on when they would open but no updates from them. I had to check for posts on weather or not they’re open na which is very inconvenient since I told them to email me once they open for staycations. Hay sana this Feb would be better!

You know you’re getting an exceptional service when you stay in a hotel to quarantine for a week and despite minimal face-to-face contact with staff, you feel their heartfelt care and concern. Thank you Zandra, Janet, Leona, Ady and the transport, housekeeping and room service staff for making me feel welcome and comfortable. Your spacious elegant suite complemented by the delicious food and your service from the heart are truly appreciated. I’m a Discovery Shores loyalist and now a Discovery Primea fan.

Due to quarantine restrictions, I have a cancelled event which was fully paid last march 5. I have not requested for a refund until june in consideration of the unprecedented crisis we are in.
3 months after payment, when I reached out to initiate the request for refund they have STOPPED answering my emails (note request for refund was already during Gcq). They have started responding again, ONLY after I messaged their social media page and quoted DTI ruling on cancelled events, emphasized as well that the money was in their account for several months already.
In my emails (in which there was no response) I am only asking for a commitment date or at the least ANY feedback on the status of refund. This went on from June — August. Finally august 6 after reaching out to them again on their FB page, John of their events department called me and committed to have the refund ON or BEFORE August 28.
I was ok with it, wait for another 22 days at least they have responded. From August 6-27 I did not do additional follow ups in consideration again of the current situation and I have trusted that they will process a refund as committed. There was no update from them since then even if the commitment was on or before august 28.

No waiting for long hours just to checked — in our rooms, guest relations on duty is very accommodating, staffs and members of housekeeping is very caring… just one buzz, quickly here they are at your door steps, facilities inside your rooms are all useful, everything you need is all in there… no worries at all.

A family-friendly hotel. It's a home away from home. The welcome chocolates are a nice touch. Its spacious suite is complete with home and kitchen appliances. I am amused with its toilet and bath, strong rainshower and water-proof tv. Plus, Roberto Cavalli toiletries. Family would also enjoy the infinite pool, kiddie pool and jacuzzi. Wish I could stay longer.

Everything is perfect. Too bad the weather is not at all happy today, yet aside from that, our experience here is all worth it; the cozy room, fantastic food, the value for money…

We booked a room at Discovery Primea for a girls night out. The hotel is situated along Ayala Ave. Malls are easily accessible with an underpass entry right in front of the lobby entrance. I checked-in early at 1pm. The room is undoubtedly impressive. Service is just as excellent. Our package comes with an impeccable breakfast spread for two. The pool’s vista is the urban jungle of Makati and there’s a bar at the highest floor with the same amazing view. Primea made it to the top spot of my favorite hotel in Manila.

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Staff were excellent! Always smiling, friendly, helpful and quick to notice if assistance is needed. Breakfast selection at Tapenade quite limited and staff doesn't seem that interested to serve in the morning. In room service staff is friendly and always do small talk while serving.

5 stars for Discovery Primea! All the staff were so courteous! From the moment you enter until you check out, all the staff were giving you smiles, greets you everytime, makes you feel really welcomed! The choices for the breakfast are limited though. The 2-bedroom suite we stayed at is very clean and spacious! We will definitely go back!

The rooms are large enough to accommodate 5 families, I love the quiteness and cleanliness… they do not charge extra bedding… staff was so friendly, room service is quick and efficient, plus the ease of access and location … it really felt like home to me… I really recommend this hotel also for business and traveling guests.

This place was fantastic. The beds were super comfortable and fresh. The suite was very big (two bedrooms and two bathrooms). The room service was tasty and quick. The pool was clean, refreshing, and peaceful. The staff was phenomenal. Kind, friendly, and helpful. We will be back here.

Great aesthetics, layout and huge space of rooms. Ideal for group and family accommodation. Parking has five floors and access to Ayala Road is convenient. Service is also attentive, but may need some follow through in some requests when fully booked.

I stayed at the Discovery for a month while I was on a work trip. The hotel went above and beyond for my needs. The housekeeper always assisted with my requests and made me feel like a friend instead of a guest. It's clean, and you get hospitality at every turn. The food is absolutely awesome whether you're ordering room service or dining at Tapernade, or Flame. I felt so at home and it was very helpful especially when you're so fat away from home. The pool has breathtaking views of the city and is always warm. I recommend looking here if you're staying in Manila!

Fantastic for Families! As a troop of 5 it was a welcome change to stay in a 2 bed apartment, yet with all the benefits of a top end hotel. We ended up having to extend out stay for a week, and couldn't have been in a better place to recover — the in house 24/7 Medical Centre was a great help and short walking distance the hospital. All the staff were fantastic, the apartments were a good size and what you'd expect of 5* luxury, v. Comfy beds, TVs in bathrooms, plus a decent infinity pool and good breakfast. Short walk to all the main malls and the helpful concierge made it simple to get secure transport or "Grab" taxis around Manila. Kids never wanted to leave — will stay again next time we're back! :-)

What an amazing find in Manila, a great conveniently located hotel with exceptional service from front office to housekeeping all was great. Nice pool on level 3 — great stationery draw — a nice addition for a business traveler, room is spacious and clean, including a coffee machine and decent mini bar.

As an anniversary present from my partner he booked Discovery Primea Hotel (2.0-22 June '18) From the Concierge to Management all friendly and greeting you with a smile and their left hand on their heart. One thing I have never seen during our stay in other five star hotels in Manila! I remember this gesture during my school days. Every morning after singing the flag ceremony we say our "panatang makabayan" we place our left hand on our heart which symbolizes acceptance, respect, love to our country. With Discovery Primea, I learned that they do the same to show respect and acceptance of guests with their hearts during their stay in their new home… Discovery Primea. A fine gesture. Also the ambiance, the pool with an amazing view, the room size, the food are all at high standard. We even got a surprise cake for our Anniversary at the Flame restaurant. Thanks guys Special mention to Chloe (receptionist), Rommel (dinning), Rein and Jennina (concierge), Sandra (Manager) for the excellent service rendered making sure our stay is as pleasant and memorable one. We'll highly recommend to our Australian friends.

Service here is amazing! I'll be here for a month. On Day four so far and I have a great feeling about this place. The food here is especially good and reasonably priced (compared to Washington state. )

The rooms are very homey and the beds are so comfy. The staff are very hospitable and accommodating. They treat you like you're the only guests in the whole hotel.

The place is amazing and the service is topnotch! The room is bigger than usual hotels and the bathtub has a television! I requested for an early check in and usually it’s at 12nn (regular check in is at 2pm) but we arrived at 10am and just expected to drop our bags at the concierge and come back after lunch but the room as ready at 10am! We also ordered food from their room service and the portion is good for 3-4 people and we were just 2. I asked to keep the food in their fridge so we can take it home the next day and they did. They somehow misplaced it in the morning when we were about to check out BUT! They offered to replace it with a newly cooked one for us to take home (free of charge). All the staff were well trained and they attended to our needs right away and ALWAYS with a smile! I highly recommend it!

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in.
The room was large with a sitting area and a couch. The room was very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. The staffs upon the entrance, lobby, and pool area smiled heartily. The lobby was nice and clean. Breakfast area was large. There were several kitchen staff members constantly monitoring the breakfast items. There was plenty for everyone, including tons of bacon.
Management and staff definitely went out of their way to make this a pleasant stay for us.
We considered Discovery Primea as our second home away from home.

Exceptional from the first minute. The location is great if you need to be close to the airport, the whole condition of the hotel and rooms is spotless. We really enjoyed the pool and the gym. Even the room service food was good. But the absolute star was the service.

This hotel is so pretty! I was here to host a wedding event. The place was stunning and the staff were very attentive. They could be more upfront with their guest parking mechanics though. I had to go back and forth to have my parking ticket validated. Else, this place is fantastic.

Very comfortable and ideal for families. They gave us complimentary cake and the staff are very accommodating. Buffet offers variety of food. They have TV inside the bathroom and in every room (living room and 2 bed rooms) Has a very good pool view, excellent spa service and very good location. It is walking distance from malls and establishments (there is an underpass just outside the hotel)

Very good location. Easy to hunt food. Good service. Stayed in a primea suite (room 1208). Has a proper open planned kitchen and living room (and washing machine) Both bedrooms are good sized. Nice decoration. The price is very reasonable for the room. Love it. In fact it only takes 15-20minutes to go to airport at 8am. I thought it would be much longer.

I got a 1 bedroom suite for me and a 2 bedroom suite for my family. 3. They accommodated my last minute request with no problems 4. Dinner at Tapende was good 5. Buffet breakfast had a decent variety and was good. 6. Pool area was excellent, staff was friendly and service was fast. My drinks kept on coming so I was a happy camper. Good choice of finger foods so no complains. 7. Great location, close to the malls. Cons — I don't really have one.

Excellent service, good location. Provides mobile phone in the room with Internet and calls. You allow take the phone on you and use. Delicious snacks in the room. Really comfy bed! The infinity pool is in lower floor then expected.

The hotel is situated in the district of Makati, very near the international airport of Manila and in front of a shopping center. The room we were given was large and had everything, until they give you a mobile phone complimentary for use during your stay. The breakfast I thought was very good and the staff very friendly and attentive. The gym was huge and completisimo, the best I've seen and best of all, the hotel is the infinity pool overlooking the skyline of Manila. Highly recommended.

Everything here is first class. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Food at their restaurant was excellent, and their salon was fairly priced. Would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Place is pleasant and immaculate. Foods are appetizing, I love the creme brulee, not too sweet just perfect. The lamb meat is very tender. All foods in the buffet are good!

Awesome place with great staff. They have one of the best hotel swimming pools in the city. Alot of Makati hotels have their pool views obscured by neighboring buildings, but not Discovery Primea. Their pool has an amazing view of the city skyline!

Premium condominium with areas you can rent for events. It's a very narrow but tall building so it sticks out like a sore thumb. It's also got a hotel which is nice as the location of Primea is extremely convenient as it's just across the Makati shopping district as well as the offices of the country's top corporations as well as the stock exchange. There's also a park nearby where you can jog at.

We'd recently stayed for 4 days in 2 Bedroom Suite, and the room was wonderful, staff were very attentive, and breakfast was great. The pool was my husbands favorite, he would swim morning and night. The beds were extremely comfortable, would stay again.

Could have been so much better. I stayed at the Discovery Primea for 3 nights. Upon checking in the hotel demands a credit card or cash deposit. I thought this was uncalled for for a hotel in this price range. That being said, the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The room was nice, nice views, complimentary turn down service. My biggest gripe with the room was in the kitchen. Apparently nobody had used the sink in a while. This caused the drain trap to dry out. Anyone who understands how drains work knows that when the trap dries out it allows a foul smell into the room. Turning the water on for a minute and filling the drain fixed this, but it should not be the guests responsibility to correct this. Outside of the room, the infinity pool was definitely a highlight. It was well maintained and the views of the city were incredible from the pool. Finally, and my biggest gripe, was the breakfast. If you arrived at the breakfast later on in the morning, it seemed like much of the selection was picked over, and nobody seemed to be in a rush to refill anything. Worse, was the fact that the yogurt they were serving was nearly 6 weeks past the expiration date. (see picture) This was not an isolated case as upon inspection all of the yogurts out that day were expired as well. This is completely unacceptable and it is what really turned my opinion on this establishment.

Nice hotel, not what I was expecting. Fancy finishes all over, comfy bed and the bathroom has a standing shower and a full size tub with a TV.

Their salad buffet is the best! Small offerings but very well curated from the type of greens, dressings, fresh shellfish, cheeses and breads.

I think you expect alot more of a highend hotel, check in take about same time as taxi from airport… Housekeeping poor and sloppy, forget some day a another day forget close the door etc etc. Only one restaurant and meny not to exciting. Room nice, executive suit but that's not enough for the price.

Excellent excellent service! from the entrance, reception up to my suite room everybody exceeds my expectations, the suite is AWESOME! So relaxing, the ambience of the suite is so homey but with a touch of class… everything is so spacious that even my two grandchildren can roam around and play. Amenities are so nice as well (I like most the bathroom amenities) But above all… It's the staff who made my stay memorable, they are so polite and professional with the smile in their face. Remember: it's in the hands of their employees… why guests keep coming back in any hospitality business… Keep it up.

Awesome hotel! Very big room!

The service was Personal, non obtrussive, the assisted self parking w/ ease. The room service was almost too Fast. And Im a sucker for welcome treats and this was a level above hands down. Room Controls, phone dock, tub tv. Everything works. The main TV Navigation is Clumsy and Selection thin — thats about it for could be better. Ah yes, its a really short traverse from entry to room. All these are incrementals But the whole is Better for it. Pls have a pet friendly floor Ill bet itd be booked solid. It may seem trivial but checkin and checkout WAS NEVER, this seamless at either of its neighbors which we patronized frequently. Our personal circumstance notwithstanding (ie thru our assistants) this is allowed at all the other places we frequent; it just felt end — user centric. The2br serviced apartment was fully equipped again a pleasant plus. Id like to see what the larger suites have next visit. If it were pet friendly; it'd. Be Perfect. We would stay there EXCLUSIVELY.
