" DO NOT STAY HERE FOR QUARANTINE OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET " — Rude Staff — Poor customer service. (Seems they are angry all the time) — NO FOOD DELIVERY ALLOWED so you have no choice but to get your food from them and PAY 200 pesos per meal for a total of 600 pesos daily. — Food storage canister was looking fancy than the TASTE and the amount of FOOD. Are you serious? — Food contains vegetable, fruits, total of two 1/2 cup measurement of rice technically not 2 cups because their container is very small and one viand and it is like one tablespoon size. Really? — 600 pesos meal a day? — Food NOT is absolutely not DELICIOUS but survival. — I booked for 7 nights so I still have time to relax more after 48 hours non stop international flight. — I got my swab test on the 5th and it was negative. — After I got the result I asked one of the lady who answered ny call which I believe from the reception and told her that I have covid test negative already. Can I go out to buy something since I still have 3 nights left. She told me YES so long as I can show them the result. — But I didn't go out because I decided to just stay instead and do it the following day because I want a food outside. — I order food panda and I am already confident that I can pick up the order at least in the lobby because im already negative in covid.

My friend is staying here for his quarantine right now for 5days and the room is horrible! He is a big man and they give him a small room without a table or cabinets to put in his clothes and no fridge for the food! No toiletries, no cups, no utensils to use even NO drinking WATERR! Not even allowed ordering food outside but in other countries they do. I guess it's better to stay in other local affordable hotels than this place. It's like staying in a prison! So sorry for him. I wish the manager could do better than this in this horrible situation. Please do something!

Red Planet Timog Aircon is leaking, no customer service given! Very bad experience. Lights are flickering. Smell of the sheets smells like used one. Bathroom is soooo dirty.

Trash fcking hotel to get quarantined. Wifi, food and services are all fcking trash.

There's no phone in the room. Among other essentials that is lacking from a normal hotel accommodation. They provide a Viber number to call but noone answer. They won't allow food delivery but can't provide you food outside their meal schedule. Seriously, this is a glorified jail. It's our first day and I'm already stressing how we can survive through the entire 10 days.

Nobody answering in front desk at night! poor costumer service, no telephone inside rooms has to walk elevator doors first. What if something happened inside? checked in at red planet mabini.

This hotel is very unsafe for people who will spend 10days of quarantine. There is no telephone inside your room so if you die in your sleep they will only discover your cadaver on your last day of quarantine. They don’t even knock on your door to see if you’re still alive. There is phone pero isa lang kada floor lahat kayo sa floor yun ang gagamitin at kung ang isang kasama mo sa floor ay covid19 positive at ginamit nya ang phone after few minutes ikaw ang sumunod na gumamit ayun. You have just contracted the virus. Wifi is very weak 80% of the day patay ang Wi-Fi or hindi ka makakaconnect dahil sobrang hina. Ang baho ng mga rooms amoy ihi.
Maangas ang gwardya akala mo kernel eh.
Wag nang magtipid kumuha ng maayos na hotel kikitain pa natin ang pera kesa ma stress kayo.

Red Planet Aseana canceled my paid reservation for 5 nights due to the community quarantine declared by the government but refused to give me a refund for service they can not provide. Instead, I was issued a coupon I must use within one year. It is like paying for soup in a restaurant, but because they ran out of soup, coffee is forcibly served instead. Is this how hotels conduct business in the Philippines?

Very slow internet. Not recommended. 1 out of 10 for me.

I could say is that their hospitality quitely owsome… that their staff were generous aprouchable those person carried my luggage so friendly… ill be back soon.

We availed their standard room which is the cheapest of their rates. In comparison with other hotels' standard room, if you were looking for a place to stay for a single overnight, this is definitely recommendable. The staff are remarkably hospitable, plus the ambiance of their lobby is very entertaining with their PCs and travel agency partner. They are a well-branded hotel to note also. The room is definitely clean. It may lack some necessities like bottled water, disposable slippers, etc. But the price is right for the accomodation. There are enough choices for 24/7 food places and bars beside the hotel area too, no need to worry for food shortage.

One of the best value locations for the price. Stayed at Berjaya Hotel a few weeks ago, and it was bad. In comparison, Red Planet was better right at the check-in process. It was super quick and efficient. The rooms are definitely smaller and more compact, but they look cleaner, modern, and straightforward. Most definitely one of the best choices in this price range. The location isn't the best though especially if you're driving yourself, but it was fine using Grab and taxis.

Everything about this place was top notch. Except that it was in the philippines. The every day people there are awesome. Less than 100 yards from the hotel I was robbed by three police officers. Under threat of incarceration. Good luck.

You can bring your family here! It's a hotel good for couples and travelers. The location is at the heart of Makati where you can just walk to the top restaurants and bars in the city. A mall is also walking distance. The room is clean and it doesn't feel that you're staying at a cheap place.

Basic, but clean and functional. Noisy air-conditioner so be prepared to turn it off if you want a nights sleep, otherwise a good budget location to stop over.

Stayed just to have a quick rest with my sister. Took them a long time to verify and give me access to the room. Did not sleep well either.

Red Planet rooms only have beds, an ac unit & ceiling fan, bathroom with strong water pressure, towels & soap, no extra amenities like hot water, free water, or a refrigerator, but things we can live without. This Red Planet is 5mins walk to the Century Mall & Rustans Grocery. Plenty convenience stores nearby. Keep in mind this area is close to the Red Light District, but its safe. You'll need to walk 1min to the crossing to hail a cab.

The location is great, except for those who need it. Dirt, prostitution and construction. The Rooms are normal for night, noisy air con.

Good location. Great service. Located in an area within walking distance to places to shop or dine. Rooms are of adequate size, with basic amenities available — hot and cold shower with toiletries; cable tv; air conditioner and small area for wardrobe. Service is consistent with all other red planet hotels. Staff are courteous, warm, and friendly. Wifi is available with stable connection.

This is my nth time staying here. So near the convenience store, mall and atm. The price is OK compared to other hotels located in the area. They have a loyalty program too just inquire in the front desk. The room is very neat. The bed, the comfort room is very clean with strict security personnel.

Staff good. Clean. Everything works. Location good. Secure. Good reliable internet. Red planet quality is always predictable. Good management. Rooms have everything one needs for short stays except no refrigerator. Price is competitive although unpredictable.

Room is clean and affordable. I was really impressed on my first night and the next day because when I came in after work, my bed is fixed and fresh towels are supplied (as what all hotels should do) but on the 2nd day, I came in to a clean room but no towels. I understand that everyone forgets sometimes so no big deal. I just went down to request for them. On the third day, same thing happened. At this time, I'm a little bit grumpy because I have to go down again to request for it. The next day, before I left the room, I left a note asking them to replace them, not just take them. I would appreciate telephone so we can call the front desk for assistance and room slippers.

Nice location. There's a 7/11 near by, although the receptionist aren't that accommodating. It wasn't my first time checking in on that hotel, I've been there twice and I'm always staying for days. But yeah, still receiving the same cold treatment. I hope they will improve. And at least put a Thicker blanket and provide new towels. The color of their towels are getting Greyish already.

Internet at some floors is not working properly. Its reasonably clean. In 2017 the service was very good in 2018 it was a bit less good. Overall quality is good I would recommend this place.

The location is excellent and the hotel is in the heart of the city. The hotel is economical class but quite decent. The rooms are small.

A very good hotel, the rooms are small but very clean.

The place is a little bit hard to find but totally worth every penny as its clean and cozy for its price. Shower heater might take some time to kick in, around a minute or two. No room slippers, but the mat, towels and sheets has good hygiene scent. Wifi is limited to one device though, which gave me hard time switching my phone two phone and laptop logging in to the network everytime I need to connect. But overall, still I rate it as 5 star for its offered services is much higher value than the price it charges.

I spent a week end in this hotel waiting for my next flight.
Initially clean but very small Room, without any furniture with a surface to rest things. Room cleaning Service at random times (once in the middle of the afternoon). Wi-Fi not working perfectly in the room. Staff without peaks of particular kindness. I would Also recommend to arrange the airport transfer by yourself to avoid paying an extra charge to the hotel.
Positive Note the location, since it is in an area above the Manila average talking about security.

Very good location and good value for money I booked this hotel because of the price and the location. The value for the money is very important for me and this hotel matched that. The check in was uncomplicated and fast. The room was pretty clean but small. I had a good channels in TV and I liked the shower. The aircon is not so strong and it takes a long time to make the room cold. My room was cleaned every day and the staff was friendly. I would come again!

Mid-level Hotel in a convenient location good for short stops.

Friendly hotel with professional team, rooms with simple clean and inexpensive comfort but with comfortable beds. In the adjacent bar, in addition to good kitchen with delivery service, also the evening program is offered. And in the morning, breakfast too. Overnight stays from 1200 php, breakfast 250 php, giant pizza from 350 PHP.

+ Great little place with friendly staff. The room is modern, neat and tidy and the bathroom is the same. Has great TV reception. It's located near nightlife but far enough away from the noise. The bed is comfortable — air-con is a tad noisy.

Conclusion: More than 3 stars and less than 4 stars. Worth the price. + The location is great. The Wi-Fi is working in the room. Hot water in the shower. - No phone in the room. No bottles of water. The TV quality is medium/low. No place for the suitcase.

Very nice hotel located near amenities and close to city centre. Value for money with fast Wi-Fi, spacious and clean rooms.

Very fast Wi-Fi. No room phone so you just chat the front desk thru the app. But they are very responsive. Rooms are small, no cabinet, just hanger poles for your clothes. Has mini safe. No ref so I just gave 4 stars. But one of the well maintained hotels I know.

Marla was extremely rude at the front desk. I checked in late and she charged me a much higher rate than was posted on the website earlier. She was threatening and truely an awful human being. I do not recommend this hotel.

Budget friendly and clean. It's a little hard to locate and there is limited parking space for people with cars. Best to call in advance if you are bringing a car.

This is a good place to stay, the staff are very helpful when you need something, the security are very respectful and the room service was great. We don't have a problem during our stay the security always helps us to get our transportation whenever we want to go they advice us how to travel safely, the location is very accessible around makati. It's okay for a cheap place to stay. Some rooms are quite dirty (from years of use and no deep clean). It isn't as good as other Red Planet/Tune hotels across the world. In response to the hotel's response: it isn't an isolated incident. Match my name with your hotel records and you'll see I've stayed a few times, even when you were named Tune (when you first opened). It was great the first year; dirty after that. Your team don't do a good job. Years of build up of grime in the bathrooms, showers that become baths (drains) and aircon units that have been overused and not serviced. To say my experience this time was isolated is a complete lie. And earns you a lower star rating.

Reasonable price, clean, and near from everywhere.

Very reasonably priced hotel for a couple of nights before flying home. As they say, 'you get what you pay for', however our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower/bathroom was of a good standard. The room is small, however not a problem. Breakfast is included in the price. Good food in the Insider Sports Bar open 24 hrs, attached to the hotel. The staff are very helpful and obliging. The only negative point I have is that there are no facilities for making a cup of tea/coffee. I would use this hotel again in the future.

RedPlanet hotels are always very clean and offer an excellent service for the price you pay. There are no (bad) surprises! The Makati branch is not the nice fanciest area, but you are close to the business district and major hotspots.

Most Red Planet hotels are modeled the same. It's like the McDo of hotels. Clean rooms and western style spacious bathrooms. Showers that work and have hot water. Staff is always friendly and in this location the nightlife is abundant.

The hotel room was renovated and clean but way too small. There is no phone in room!, so forget about room service. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast was good. Their Wi-Fi is ok but not fast.

Good Wi-Fi signal and fast internet speed. Great for 1-2 days stay on business trips in Makati.

Room is tiny and location is very seedy. Don't use their transportation option, it's about twice the price of a regular cab. Helpful staff and clean room with decent Wi-Fi.

The staff on the front desk are absolute assholes. They won't let you check in before 2pm unless you pay them 300php additional. Told them we where going to be checking out 3 hours earlier than their 11am deadline so therefore why should we pay extra, then the bullshit started flying.

Posted in tripadvisor: “Clean, new, convenient; pay for towels, AC, Wi-Fi” It's a new clean place. Convenient to 7-11, Powerplant mall and other restaurants. However, sleazy at night as it's near the red light district and lots of beggars (poor kids) hanging on to you for money. It's advised you travel with a companion especially if you're a girl. If you're a backpacker, this might be a nice place to stay for cheap. Toiletries (shampoo/conditioner and a tiny bar of soap) are paid for, as well as AC and Wi-Fi. If you choose the no AC option, no worries as they have a ceiling fan to cool you from the warm and humid Manila weather. No tiny fridge to cool your beers at night, no kettle for coffee/tea in the morning. "Closet" is a small metal tube installed on a corner where you can hang some clothes. Good use of space as the "desk" is a foldable piece of wood installed on the wall. But there's a security safe box in case you want to keep your valuables safe. Minus points for lacking a hotel phone to call room service. You'd have to go out to the elevators to use the public hotel phone. Wi-Fi is reset everyday, so don't forget to get your password in front desk when you're downstairs. Plus points for the shower head (big and powerful with hot water). Bed sheets/linen are clean and new and nice. Plus points for the massive flatscreen TV.

Not really a hotel. There is no toothbrush and toothpaste. The space is small and very small rooms. At least on the 2nd floor But very clean and well-groomed.

Price is right, not for those who have light sleep, leave the doors much through echo. Transfer tax airport 300-500 peso.
