Super recommended! Hindi kayo mabo-bored sa sobrang dami ng amenities + super bait pa ng mga staff. Super chill and laidback ambiance. For its price, super reasonable hindi sayanggg as in! Will definitely stay here again. 💯

Nothing beats the View like Siargao 😊

The staff were mostly new and not knowledgable. They did't know what food was available and what wasn't. They didn't know what their best sellers are. Whenever we asked them questions, they called their fellow staff who also didn't know how to answer us. The food was disappointing. We ordered food that the staff said was good for 2-3 pax but was actually only good for 1. The pasta of the aglio olio was undercooked. There were only 2 prawns. The beef was chewy and had dried whole rosemary on it. Not crushed. Not mixed with the marinade. I'm no chef but isn't dried rosemary best used for marinades? And crushed?

The place is awesome. The ifugao huts were simple yet elegant. The amenities are great. I appreciate how the staff accepted my request for them to setup a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. And lastly they take nice pictures of you while you're surfing. Great place, great staff. Will definitely invite my friends and I can't wait to get back and stay a couple of days in Nalu again.

Rooms are ok and worth the price. However, their restaurant sucks. Waiters aren't trained well. When they get your orders they won't write it… result: wrong order being served. We thought it might be an isolated case but no, It happened thrice. And we were forced to accept the wrong order because the waiter gave us the face that it will be charged to them. Naawa naman kami. No apologies from the manager or even the waiter who took our orders. Orders took so long to arrive. One morning we had to wait more than an hour considering that we were the only people in the restaurant. The management needs to train well his staff. Not really happy with their service : (

We've been going to Nalu Surf camp for the last 4 years and never had a bad experience with them. My kids fell in love with this place. And they've been surfing eversince. We can bring our dogs and they even allowed us to bring our own inflatable pool! very chill very relaxing place. I love the people in Nalu as well!

Staffs and Surfing teachers were awesome service providers. I arrived at 10 in the evening fresh from a quick trek in Cabanatuan and I got one of their Hammock accommodation. I charged my phone and because I was tired, I accidentally slept and woke up the next morning feeling worried of my phone I left on-plug. I was trying to look for it where I left it but it wasn't there, to my surprise it was already inside my bag! Weird, yes, but in a positive way because me and my roomy was positive that none of us unplugged it because we were both sleeping safe and sound. I have a feeling one of their staffs kept my phone safe and I was grateful to him for doing that! I will surely come back to their camp and will definitely recommend it to my friends. Their place was so clean and comfortable makes you want to stay forever.

The most important thing that any resort should consider is the security of guests. The resort has no cctv, only 1 guard was there for the entire resort, anyone from the beach area can go inside the resort because no other guard or other resort personnel checks the beach entrance. The phones and wallet of our friends from the other room were stolen. They also noticed a strange individual lurking outside their room the night before the incident happened. This was reported to the management after we found out, but of course, apologies won't happen if preventive measures were in placed already.

The food is so good and the ambiance is cool and refreshing as you feel the breeze of the pacific. The crews are accommodating too.

Relaxing place to visit, ambiance was great and so as for the rooms. It was quite an unforgettable place, historical and a lot more to know once you get there. From manila, you can ride a bus to cabanatuan city and it"ll just cost you 185 pesos. From Cabanatuan terminal, you can take a UV van to Baler. Cost of it will be 220 per person, its about 3 to 4 hours trip. Once you get to Baler, city proper. You may ask for Nalu Surf Camp on any tricyle to ride, its around 30 to 50 pesos. Accomodation is around 2500 and up but of coarse that will depend on how many people will use the room.

Like all hotels in Baler, a bit pricey for what you get. Rooms not fully provided with accessories, not working or needs maintenance. Security so so. No pool nor Wi-Fi. You have to pre pay in full to confirm your booking. It's more like a youth hostel with a price tag. Food reasonably priced. Right on the beach. But still not worth the money considering other resorts in the Philippines. There are other places to stay in Baler that are much better value.

SURF Lesson + Beer +Picture for ₱350. One of the best deal in Baler during our stay there (coz of the beer! jk). The surfboards are in best quality, the staffs are cool and warm. The waves will give you a good ride. If you love surfing and looking for cool dudes to hang out with… Get yourself a deal with Nalu Surf Camp!

The room was ok… if it was half the price. Good view and breakfast when they bother to open the restaurant. Wifi did not work at all while we were there and is switched off at 10. They don't turn it on until 8 am which doesn't really matter as it doesn't work anyway. You also need to be within 2 metres of the desk to use it. The reception staff are a bunch of surly teenagers. I would recomend treating them like that as any request is met with a sneer and eye roll that only teenagers can pull off. No housekeeping at all… I guess it is a surf "camp".

Love the garden and landscaping. Most resorts/inns in Sabang area were all concrete structures and no garden. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated at the place. It is my kind of resort. Beachfront, helpful staff, classy and new rooms. Love it!

The garden was beautiful and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The services offered was good and the staff werevery friendly. A good place to stay if you plan to surf and relax at the same time. However there wasn't any entertainment during in the evening and the television wasn't working.

It was a great experience to stay here. The price rate was worth it which is inclusive of free breakfast depending on the room capacity, the staff are very friendly and the owner is accommodating. They won't short change you with anything.

We stayed at the Deluxe room, sleep 4 on a weekend, the camp was quite full. It was raining the whole time we were there, the camp had only three umbrellas available for the guests to use. That is pitiful! They should anticipate this kind of circumstances. The landscape is good and the room is quite nice but not worth the rate. They should provide hand towel, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. The toilet paper is limited to one roll, don't provide extra until asked. That's so inefficient. The shower should be enclose so the floor part where the toilet bowl is situated does not get wet. There's not much food selection of menu and it's a bit small if the camp is in full capacity.

Went here to sleep for overnight, the place is good, staff is ok but, this is the only hotel that didn't provide bath soap…
