Intiqa Hotel

Hotel in the city of Puno close to lake Titikaka. It is on walking distance to the main plaza, cathedral and main streets witj shops and restaurants. The hitel is clean and modern. Breakfast is extended and the absolute winner here is the staff. Very friendly and helpfull with information and with helping out with local tour operators. When you're in Puno, recommended!

Talk to the guy at the front desk. He was very nice and kind, also very helpful and always smiling! He helped us to pack box breakfast as we leave early in the morning. He also shared a lot about his culture, puno. Room was warm with the heater. It’s nearby the main attractions. Love it!

Reception was very friendly and efficient. Lift. Laundry service. Room fine, however didn't have block out blind and was a bit noisy facing the street. We rigged up a blanket over the window to block out the light so we could sleep. Otherwise hotel was fine and a good location near main square.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and kind, also very helpful and always smiling! The breakfast was very good and the staff at the restaurant was helpful. The inner room was quiet and warm (with the heater). There was a nice touch — water heating pads! At the hotel they also have oxygen for emergencies. The location is great — in a safe area next to the city center. Generally a very nice hotel, just keep in mind that it’s basic and a bit outdated, but that’s the case almost everywhere in Peru.

We only stayed for one night as part of a group organised tour. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is a good spread with cooked eggs if required. There is a lift. Our room was basic but adequate, overlooking the front, not too noisy. Within walking distance to numerous shops bars and restaurants. The area felt safe. The best bit about the hotel is the breakfast.

Marcelo at the front desk in the evenings was such a friendly and helpful person. When I checked in I was very sick to my stomach. I had lunch and it did not agree with me. He brought me up some tea and helped me with my luggage. Very nice to talk to and willing to help out in anyway. I don’t care where you live or what country your from that is a hard to find. However, if you do stay at this hotel try to not get a room that’s facing the street. It was so loud during the night I could not sleep. Overall rooms are comfortable and clean.

Thanks to all the staff for making our stay in Puno so agreeable. We loved the heated room (we are entering the winter 🥶), the hot tea ready to serve and the wonderful service (breakfast was perfect). We do recommend this address if you plan to stay one or two nights in Puno.

Nice hotel located one block off of the main square. Many restaurants nearby. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to assist with any questions or concerns. Wonderful breakfast that you can have in your room or in the breakfast area. Would stay again if traveling back to Puno.

Wonderful staff. Very attentive. Clean. Quiet. Best included breakfast in Peru so far. Not as pictured but post corona at least eatable and tasty. 1 minute from the Main Street. Hot water and tea in the room. Even room service with breakfast. Instant hot water. Lovely decorated all throughout. And an elevator!

Heartbreaking.
We are still waiting for the refund of our money, due to the Pandemic we will not be able to travel anywhere, more than 13 days have passed and we still do not have any response from you, I will make my police report for fraud and theft.

Stayed here for two nights during my visit to the lake. Simple 3* hotel but very clean and with an elevator (which was nice as I was on the fourth floor). Rooms were very large and modern and showers great and warm. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was also very good for the price of the hotel. One night a little noise from the street (one block from the main square) but was manageable.
