We had a wonderful stay at the Fitzcarrald Hotel! We only stayed one night prior to our jungle experience — but it was the perfect stay. First, the location could not be beat.

The beautiful and clean hotel was amazing. The host was wonderful and made sure that all our needs were met. Very friendly staff and extremely clean rooms.

Stayed here for 6 nights. The hotel room is very clean and beautiful, staffs are polite and sweet. Shower is hot, AC is cold. Location is beautiful and central.

Everything was amazing! The atmosphere of being in the jungle and in a beautiful resort. The food was also amazing it was all fresh and tasted amazing!

We had an amazing time in the Amazon thanks to Amazon Garden Ecolodge. They took care of us from the very beginning—right when we arrived, they picked us up and transported us to the lodge.

Location is perfect fpr staying in the city, very central and easy walk to anyway important. Best take away from this place was the breakfast! Great selection of hot and cold items with fresh fruit.

All the staff was so wonderful. Especially in the restaurant, they made my 2 babies feel so comfortable. The rooms are top notch.

Positive: The people working here is great, made every day a great experience with good recommendations and always meet you with a smile.

Good rooms (TV air-conditioning, ceiling fans), helpful staff (obviously in Spanish) and a quiet location.

An amazing place, good cabins, food and tours. The staff is from the local communities, the are very friendly and well trained. The location allows to move around the river to do several activities.

The DoubleTree is as good as it gets in Iquitos where infrastructure is relatively limited.

Jungle House was a wonderful experience! We stayed four nights in mid August/2025 and loved everything about this small hotel.

The owners were very sweet, welcoming and helpful. The whole hostel was beautifully decorated with colors and artwork and theres also a rooftop terrace.

I would highly recommend this hostel :) the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and there are HOT showers which was an absolutely must after spending a few days in the Amazon.

Don't get fooled by the name. Its the building address, not anything else. Excellente service. Front desk staff is mostly bilingual. Room was a Fantastic deal!

Staff was friendly for both the check in and breakfast portion. Rooms were cleaned and air conditioned worked well too! (Important for the humidity. ) the breakfast was lovely as well.

Just three blocks from Plaza de Armas. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helped me to arrange some tours in the city.

We only had one night here but really enjoyed the stay. The rooms were quiet and breakfast was delicious. Location was superb as well. Would stay again.

Wilson and his wife are perfect hosts. Pick up from the airport, help with bags. The room was very spacious for a family of four, we had air conditioning and hot water for a shower if needed!

We had a very nice stay in one of the new bungalows. The spacious garden is gorgeous and the staff was super friendly.

Stayed here during our trip to Iquitos in Oct 2025. Rooms were clean and had good airconditioning. Location is excellent for walking around the city with plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area.

Macambo is located in the center of Iquitos, with very friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean rooms at great prices.

Always a fantastic people, hospitality, and food at Macambo! I have stayed there many times and will be back there soon.

If you’re looking for a hotel in Iquitos, Peru this is the one. I am a 54-year-old woman from the USA. I had never traveled outside of the country by myself, and I was very nervous.

It’s a pretty nice hotel, super nice staff. Came t go t the jungle and didn’t wanna take all my luggage, they were super nice and allowed me t keep my luggage for a few days without no charge.

The breakfast, the room, everything impeccable, the good treatment of its staff, Carla and Diego.
