We had a wonderful stay at the Fitzcarrald Hotel! We only stayed one night prior to our jungle experience — but it was the perfect stay. First, the location could not be beat.

The beautiful and clean hotel was amazing. The host was wonderful and made sure that all our needs were met. Very friendly staff and extremely clean rooms.

Stayed here for 6 nights. The hotel room is very clean and beautiful, staffs are polite and sweet. Shower is hot, AC is cold. Location is beautiful and central.

Everything was amazing! The atmosphere of being in the jungle and in a beautiful resort. The food was also amazing it was all fresh and tasted amazing!

We had an amazing time in the Amazon thanks to Amazon Garden Ecolodge. They took care of us from the very beginning—right when we arrived, they picked us up and transported us to the lodge.

Sr Luis and Neydita Hospedaje are top notch, super recommend!

I love Central Bed and Breakfast. They are very comfortable rooms and the people running it are so wonderful and helpful.

So incredibly helpful! I was on my own and I do not speak Spanish. The owner and staff were amazing. They helped me with getting from the airport to my lodging and then back.

Danny was our guide for the trip he spoke perfect English and was extremely kind.

We had the most amazing two-day jungle tour with Danny, and I honestly can’t recommend him enough.

Location is perfect fpr staying in the city, very central and easy walk to anyway important. Best take away from this place was the breakfast! Great selection of hot and cold items with fresh fruit.

All the staff was so wonderful. Especially in the restaurant, they made my 2 babies feel so comfortable. The rooms are top notch.

Good hotel for this area. On weekends almost impossible to sleep because of the music from some nights club on same street. All other days are very quiet and comfortable.

Bora hotel is amazing! I loved the room, so beautiful, clean and cozy with lots of attention to details. The shower was the best I had in Iquitos.

This was an excellent place to stay! Great location right next to Dawn on the Amazon and about three blocks from the square. Very safe, very heavy metal doors that lock automatically.

The DoubleTree is as good as it gets in Iquitos where infrastructure is relatively limited.

We decided to treat ourselves and stay here on our last day in Iquitos after a few days in a jungle tour, and it did not disappoint.

Jungle House was a wonderful experience! We stayed four nights in mid August/2025 and loved everything about this small hotel.

The owners were very sweet, welcoming and helpful. The whole hostel was beautifully decorated with colors and artwork and theres also a rooftop terrace.

I would highly recommend this hostel :) the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and there are HOT showers which was an absolutely must after spending a few days in the Amazon.

Don't get fooled by the name. Its the building address, not anything else. Excellente service. Front desk staff is mostly bilingual. Room was a Fantastic deal!

Staff was friendly for both the check in and breakfast portion. Rooms were cleaned and air conditioned worked well too! (Important for the humidity. ) the breakfast was lovely as well.

Just three blocks from Plaza de Armas. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helped me to arrange some tours in the city.

Macambo is located in the center of Iquitos, with very friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean rooms at great prices.

This is the spot to stay in IQT! Super close to the airport and Wilson (owner) and his wife are amazing! Don’t miss out on staying in the best place in IQT.

Wilson and his wife are perfect hosts. Pick up from the airport, help with bags. The room was very spacious for a family of four, we had air conditioning and hot water for a shower if needed!

Stayed here during our trip to Iquitos in Oct 2025. Rooms were clean and had good airconditioning. Location is excellent for walking around the city with plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area.

Moicca hostel is a great place. Iquitos is a chaotic city, but in Moicca you can find an oasis of peace. Pablo, his family, the fastest cat, and the cutest puppy make sure the vibes are chill.

Best hostel in Iquitos. The rooms and hostel itself is basic but the staff go out the way to help anyway they can. Fabio was great and always helped out when needed.

If you’re looking for a hotel in Iquitos, Peru this is the one. I am a 54-year-old woman from the USA. I had never traveled outside of the country by myself, and I was very nervous.

It’s a pretty nice hotel, super nice staff. Came t go t the jungle and didn’t wanna take all my luggage, they were super nice and allowed me t keep my luggage for a few days without no charge.
