Studio 69 Aparthotel

Bit of a crazy place (like the city of Iquitos in general! ). The rooms are not big and a bit cramped; the hot water uses a very old style local gas boiler in the bathroom. The people were nice and friendly though.

Staff was friendly for both the check in and breakfast portion. Rooms were cleaned and air conditioned worked well too! (Important for the humidity. ) the breakfast was lovely as well.
It was our favorite place to stay in Peru.

Nice lobby, room and rooftop breakfast area with a lovely view. Stephanie, the manager, and Paul, the owner, were very warm and helpful. We only had one night here, but would choose Studio 69 if we have another opportunity to come to Iquitos.

Due to my profession, I have travelled to many countries and stayed in various accommodations. I can confidently say that Studio 69 stands out compared to other excellent hotels I have visited. I spent 50 days at this hotel between January and March of 2025, and I was impressed by every aspect of my experience.
The location is a major advantage, as it is just a few blocks from the historic centre while being far enough away to avoid the loud noise of downtown, such as booming music and the constant hustle of motocarros. The service is another strong point, featuring an extremely friendly and helpful team, along with kind owners who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
The breakfast offered is abundant and varied, providing opportunities to sample delicious delicacies from the Amazon, always accompanied by fresh and flavorful juices. Overall, I highly recommend Studio 69 to anyone seeking comfort, hospitality, and an authentic taste of the region.

The lady at the front desk is incredibly helpful and friendly. I had a great time. Walking distance to Iquitos main square and reasonable price for laundry. The breakfast is quite simple but tasty. Would come back again definitely.

10 stars out of 5! Stayed here for one day before our excursion to the Jungle but we liked it so much, we ended up getting another night here after coming back from our Jungle Adventure. First night we got a value room. Nice space, extremely clean, and good air conditioning in the room. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. Also the breakfast is on the 4th floor overlooking the city. The employees are super helpful and my Spanish is not good but their English is exceptional. For our 2nd night we got the Deluxe Apartment and it was totally worth it. Really nice kitchen area along with the bedroom and bathroom. We paid for laundry service and it was 7 soles per kilo! Also did late checkout and it goes until 10 pm. It is a bit less than half the amount of the room rate but it was worth it for us. Overall one of the better places to stay in Iquitos and would definitely come back in the future!

Definitely recommend — high standard rooms plus air condition — very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but very good.

Our rooms were lovely, clean, with nice hot showers and air conditioning. Breakfast was enjoyable. What really stands out about this place is the service! The staff were courteous, friendly, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. When a member of our group accidentally left some valuables behind, they held onto them for us until we could retrieve them. We loved it so much we stayed a second night!

Wonderful hotel that’s like a home away from home! The breakfast was plentiful and the room was clean and quiet with great Wi-Fi. Walkable to everywhere in you wanna go in Iquitos.

Very clean and super helpful staff. Easy walk to park, fine dining, historical sights and river walk.

Stayed one night before 10 days in the jungle. Quick review: I found this hotel to be really nice. The room I had was on the first floor and was spacious, lots of closet space, large bathroom, A/C, comfortable bed and a small private patio. The roof deck is really nice with a great view to enjoy. Staff was friendly.
Other notes:
Keep an eye out for the address. There is no signage that I saw or that stood out. After going out I walked past the door a couple of times, because it's just a door like all the other buildings nearby. This is located a little ways off from where more of the tourist things are and is more in the neighborhoods. Not knowing the city, I am always a bit cautious when I travel into neighborhoods. This may be the biggest off putting feature of this location. However, it's an easy walk between and there are police officers located all over.
The shower was a bit frustrating as I believe the equipment installed in there should allow for some warm/hot water but couldn't figure it out. I also could not get the water to change from the handheld shower head to the over head shower head, which I would have prefered.
There is no refrigerator in the room. My room had a considerable amount of closet space, which a little could be used for a future upgrade to a refrigerator. I would have liked to have kept some cold water on hand.
Breakfast was delicious and was included in the very reasonable price for my stay.
Overall, I really liked staying at this location.

The rooms and staff are very nice. However, I was woken up at 6:30 am by someone banging a hammer in the room above. I guess they’re doing renovations and decided 6:30am was a good time to start. A hotel is a place for people to sleep, therefore I can’t recommend this hotel even though it is nice.

Excellent customer services! Great place brand new facilities, air conditioning, very clean, it has a roof top restaurant well prepared, breakfast, lunch and dinner, workers well dressed, very good communicated English speakers, I’ll coming back.

Great hotel and I would highly recommend staying here! Everything is clean, comfortable, friendly and great service. All the staff spoke English and were super helpful! After staying in the Amazon we were super happy to have somewhere with hot water, comfortable bedding, good Wi-Fi connection and a clean area — you'll get all of this at this hotel!

Although there was mix-up with the room, they were able to accommodate us at their other location, which was excellent. One of our best stays in three weeks in Peru. The guy at the front desk was excellent and made sure we were taken care of. He went above and beyond to also order us a taxi to the airport at 5:00 am and he was there to greet us in the morning. Excellent customer service and would highly recommend staying here. Facilities were clean and brand new.

Wonderful place to stay. Breakfast was delicious — the scrambled eggs were cooked the same way they are back home in Canada, and the carmelized bananas were tasty. The view from their rooftop restaurant was incredible. The service is top notch — some of the staff are bilingual (Spanish/English), and they ordered us a taxi for the airport in the early morning. We felt very safe here. The rooms were clean, the shower hot, and the AC was dust free. The added touch of the mini fridge bar in room was sweet! Affordable cold drinks whenever we wanted. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
