Had the pleasure of staying in the Sumaq in Machu Picchu on our recent trip to Peru.

Our 2-night stay at Sumaq was one of our Machu Picchu highlights. The hotel location is ideal for those who prefer being away from the city's crowds and shops.

Casa del Sol is a wonderful option for travelers spending a few days in Aguascalientes before heading to Machu Picchu.

I am rating this hotel based on quality of service and location. The hotel’s rooms could be 4-stars rating. We had both two twins room and a suite.

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel is the perfect Andean escape—an oasis of calm just five minutes from the lively town of Aguas Calientes.

An unusual hotel. Rooms are in small chalets located within the jungle grounds. Charming, yes, but lighting and signage could be better and it is a real pain when it rains.

A truly luxurious and thoughtful experience.

Our most memorable stay in Cusco! We stayed at Casa Cartagena for a total of 4 nights, 2 before our tour to acclimate, and 2 after to unwind.
Room was our first room and it was very comfortable.

Our stay at Sol y Luna was nothing short of spectacular. This property is an absolute masterpiece, perfectly blending luxury with the vibrant culture of the Sacred Valley.

Sol y Luna was the most exciting surprise of our trip to Peru!

Our family stayed at the Casa Andina Premium and were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The hotel is beautifully appointed, clean, perfect location and staff were very attentive and kind.

Staff was excellent, in particular Ailey’s/Victor/Jessica. We had some issues booking a hotel in another city and she went out of her way to give excellent service.

Our stay at Casa Clara was absolutely amazing. The location — perfect! A quick walk to the Plaza de Armas and within 2 min walk of multiple restaurants and shops.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Clara located very conveniently at plaza Nazarenas and stayed at the balcony suite with a view of the plaza.

Had a wonderful time in this hotel with my family. Rooms were spacious, service was wonderful and the hotel is gorgeous.

I am here right as I am writing this review and wanted to say how much I love the service of the staff who works here! Everyone is so friendly and helpful!

It is very clean and modern. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver, Nicolas, got us to the airport on time and was very friendly.

Visited here as part of a tour group. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Our room was lacking a mirror in the bedroom area and we had a connecting door to the next room which didn’t lock!

This hotel is so well located and charming! The entire staff has a bright smile and is always helpful. The front desk is exceptional and they took care of all our needs.

Our stay at Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel was truly exceptional! The location is perfect — right in the historic center of Cusco, just a short walk from Plaza de Armas, yet peaceful and quiet at night.

The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the historic centre of Cusco, however the check-in experience was not very smooth.

They are extremely accommodating! Had a very nice stay. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff is very nice and helpful. Mayara especially was super helpful during my stay.
Would come back!

Beautiful spa experience. We did the 180 minute package (scrub, massage & facial). The therapists were great and the relaxation room is v nice to relax in afterwards.

This resort is exceptional! The staff is so attentive and helpful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is worth going to just sit in these amazing gardens.

This was our home base for The Sacred Valley, and it was an excellent place to stay. It is located between Cusco and Machu Picchu.

This hotel was beyond expectations. Everything was great. Room, service, restaurant, Spa.

The hotel is situated at a very peaceful and beautiful location. There are mountains and a river surrounded the hotel. The gardens, swimming pool and facilities are stunning.

We loved the location, alpacas in the backyard.
The breakfast could be so much better. Stale bread, not much variety of foods, cheese starting to look old from being out so long.

Our family of 4 (two adults and two children) stayed here for two night before our travel to Machu Picchu. The staff were attentive and kind. The rooms were basic, but clean and had good bathrooms.

This hotel, located in the beautiful Urubamba Valley, is an excellent base for your trip to Machu Picchu — the nearest railway station is in the nearby town of Ollantaytambo.

We loved the location of this converted monastery nestled in the mountains. The service was outstanding, and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

This was the most scenic and beautiful hotel we stayed in our entire Peru trip. We could see the mountains from our balcony. Secluded hotel. Perfect for a quiet getaway. We stayed here for one night.

We stayed overnight before taking a train to aguas calientes. It’s more of a home stay as Vanessa the host stays on site in a separate home. Vanessa was very accommodating and spoke fluent English.

The entire credit of the wonderful ratings for this beautiful lodge goes to the host — VANESSA! She is a sweetheart in every way!

We had an excellent stay at Palacio Manco Capac! This boutique hotel is perched on the hill offering amazing views of the city of Cusco.

Stayed here for my partners birthday. Everything about our stay was incredible. The manager, Jose, in particular made sure everything was perfect for her birthday.

A perfect spot to launch your Machu Picchu tour. Stay 1 night after a long day of touring. Clean interesting boutique hotel. Loft room worked.
Close to walk into town for drinks or dinner.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Peru. The place is beautiful, unique, and very pleasant – being a former monastery makes the experience even more special.

This was the most wonderful gem of a place with beautifully appointed rooms — everything you need after a days hike! Fresh water and little sweet alfajores to eat with a cup of tea.

We had a night here. Very close to train station, restaurants and market, all less than 5 mins walk. The team was friendly and fast in response which is highly appreciated.

We stayed at the Terra Andina for 2 nights and really enjoyed it! The hotel is well located within walking distance to the main tourist sights in the Old Center of town.

This place is amazing. I don’t get some of the reviews on this place. One of the reviews mentioned the fact that the rooms have windows that face towards an interior courtyard.

What an amazing hotel. We arrived at this hotel after touring the Urubamba Valley for a few days and were stunned at just how luxurious the property was.

Had a marvelous time in this wonderful hotel. Incredible location only two blocks from the Plaza de Armas…built in the 1500’s and retains a magical quality of transforming you in time.

For us, what makes the difference akways, is the people. The Peruvian we met are sweet, humble and professional.

Beautiful place to feel calm and at peace. Super cattering towards foreigners. Nice 80s music playing and their restaurant is top notch! Try their pisco sour!

Very clean, top notch service, no view. I like a dark room to sleep but the door to the room is unsealed and illuminates light from the hall. It also allows noise from the hall.
