This is unbelievable called reception at 7.09AM to request Toilet paper as House keeping did not do the job properly the day before. First call was at about 7 AM and the gentleman told me he would send it up. Then called later and Ema tells me that housekeeping only arrives at 9. O0 am and there nothing she can doShe rudely then cut me off. I will take this up with Marriot Hotel Head office and all social media as well. Jose Ramos.

Quiet and nice area, it is nice to go for a walk, friendly, efficient employees, excellent view from the rooms, and of course clean and large rooms.

I spent 10 days in beautiful Panama City and stayed at this great hotel! this will be my new home every time I return to Panama. Clean, good food and excellent attention from all its staff. Great views of the apartment and great pool. The perfect location. I love this hotel and recommend it 100%.

They were 3 days and 2 very pleasant nights. The room was huge and very cozy. Food on another level. Excellent attention in the restauranre. And at reception.

Everything ‘bout these Apts from the staff to the accommodations. Excellent!

The apartments are of decent size but cleaning can be much better. They hardly ever clean the bathroom tiles… Service level can also be better. We stayed there for a month and our keys use to stop working many times and we had to go down to reception to get them to work and the response we got few times was a laughter… It is not funny Everytime when you want to enter your apartment and the key doesn't work. The cooking utensils provided are also of very bad quality. If you are staying for shorter period then it is a good place otherwise it is not that nice.

Nice apartments, lots of places are close to the hotel. Breakfast is average, $15.

Excellent service, most of the staff can speak fluently in spanish and english. They were even helpful in contacting our external tour guide.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly h cordial, the restuaramte service is very good. At reception the service is impeccable.

Good distribution of spaces, well equipped kitchen and all very clean.

Went during low season and service was bad. Requested 2 vans for hotel transportation from airport to hotel and only 1 showed up. Half of our travellers had to wait a long time for the second van. Kids pool was closed. Air conditioning and elevators were out of service for 3 hours, shower water was lukewarm at the hottest setting, noisy parties till 1 am kept hotel guests awake, had to ask for rooms to be serviced. Overall disappointed.

Excellent service, butnal friendly. The food is delicious and the restaurant staff super attentive. If you want to prepare your own food, the kitchen has everything you need.

The hotel is in a good location. Front desk Stagg was nice. The room could have bee tidied a bit better and the towel service at the pool could have been much better.

Lovely apartment style hotel with full service grocery store around the corner. Not in main hotel district so better pricing but not an affluent neighbourhood. Great staff, clean rooms, beautiful outdoor pool area.

The facilities are very good, central, clean, comfortable but the attention is not so good. There is no one who orients to arrive and in the events leave you a little alone are not pending the details.

Good service, how at home, riba Smith market is two blocks away and you can cook in the room, very central, good neighborhood, whenever I go to Panama I stayed here!

Convenient location, reliable comfort and service, plus reasonable price for a kitchen, pool, etc. Worth it and having the Marriot brand makes things more trustable.

. I went to eat fish ceviche that I was recommended. They weren't wrong, it was excellent. Good attention from the two people of the restaurant.

This is by far the worse Marriott property experience that I have ever had. First, I was not given a higher floor away from the street noise but promised to do so the following day, which never happened. The Front Desk staff are the absolute worse when it comes to following through on service requests. The property is in need of a serious upgrade/renovation. My apartment had Chinese take-out food left for who knows how long in the microwave from the previous guest. The fact that the housekeeping failed to find it is par for the course for my stay here. The air conditioner would not come on the second day I was here. And then on the third day the low flowing lethargic toilet stopped working and it was like pulling teeth to get maintenance to respond. I am still waiting as I type this. To top everything off the restaurant laves a lot to be desired. I ate one meal and one breakfast and worried more about getting food poison than anything else. Avoid this Marriott property at all cost.

It is well located and we never touched the traffic so terrible that to get out of the towers of Alba. It doesn't have many restaurants and close but it has the excellent Riba Smith supermarket at 3 blocks. They must take care of breakfast more: the pineapple cut into huge chunks, the papaya inedible by the ripe. I think it takes more care in the pool: I saw a parent bathing a baby 1 year without a diaper and the waiter told them nothing. I only swam 2 times and had to get a vaginal fungus treatment.

I always stay here when im in panama for business. My company has an apartment here for associates. I will always recommend here for business.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are all very friendly & helpful. From Reception to the Restaurant & our cleaner they did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very spacious & clean. The food in the Restaurant was tasty & reasonably priced. Our only disappointment was we did not find the pool area, with it lovely views of the sunset until the penultimate day. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome.

If you visit Panama this is an ideal hotel.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Housekeeping makes the bed daily but doesn't restock soap, shampoo, etc which is kind of important when you sweat so much from the heat and humidity that two showers a day is a minimum. Location is somewhat removed from all the action but that could be a good thing if you prefer a little quiet and don't mind walking ten minutes to things.

I cannot rely on Marriott to honor their gift card. Very bad business to my opinion.

Marriott words cant describe how much of an excellent host you all were. From the time I entered to the time I left. From the concierge to the Front desk staff to the servers to the managers. Excellent! The room was clean. The food was fabulous! The Wi-Fi was strong… Nothing I asked for was too much to get and especially the concierges, they went above and beyond their duty… and they were always there asking if I needed anything. Marriott I will most definitely be knocking again. Job well done!

This is by far the best hotel/apartment that I have stayed in. The food is excellent! The staff is excellent times 1000. I recommend anyone coming to Panama City to stay here, and all of the action is in a 1 mile radius of here. Again much respect to the wonderful staff! ✊✊

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Great price, convenient location, gym and pool onsite, and the most helpful staff I have ever met. I loved my room and all the amenities that the kitchen came with. I did however choose to buy my own sponge.

Great apartments, great location, clean and roomy. Great pool area! The server at the buffet tried to cheat me out of the beer that was advertised at the front as 'included' in the buffet price, but I will assume he had missed the new offering this week :) … Stayed there in Mar 2016 with kids.

This is the kind of hotel that on the surface appears to be just what you need if you're staying a week or more away from home on business, etc. As the rooms are spacious, equipped with a kitchen, good Wi-Fi, etc. The lived experience, however, is something else. The staff, while generally very polite, are for the most part well-meaning but not particularly helpful at the best of times, lackadaisical and blasé the rest. Basic requests for additional blankets, or even a towel to use in the pool area, get ignored repeatedly, and simple maintenance issues like getting burned-out light bulbs replaced or the alarm clock fixed take days to resolve, if they are attended to at all. I don't normally post negative reviews, but the straw that broke the camel's back came today when I requested to purchase laundry detergent at the front desk, as I had been instructed to do upon check-in, only to be told they didn't have any left. I was invited to either wait until Monday (by which time I'd be out of clean clothes) or go to the supermarket 3 blocks away and buy my own. And, oh yes, the laundry facilities on my floor were out of order so I had to use a foul-smelling stairwell to get to the floor below as my room card did not allow me to use the elevator for floors other than my own. Suffice to say I was non-plussed. The restaurant and food are adequate, though as others have commented room service delivery times can vary wildly so order in advance.

The hotel is quite adequate. Front desk staff speaks English well. The restaurant staff does not, but they do try to help you as much as possible. Housekeeping is ok, there was a lot of dust on the top shelf of the closet. Bar service is very inconsistent and slow, especially by the pool. Room service / food delivery can take longer than 30 minutes without warning. Read instructions given at the desk carefully — if you want to be able to cook you need to fill out a form asking for gas to be turned on. Also if you book through Marriott the front desk will not see "accommodations/comments" section of the reservation. If you need extra bedding or pillows mention this right away at check in. Overall a nice experience. Check out restaurant Tinajas a block away — very fun touristy (a little kitschy) spot for dinner and show Tue through Sat.

Perfectly fine hotel for a group trip since they have full kitchens. There were a few service issues with housekeeping.
