Good, but they get lost in a glass of water!

The only con is the room and bathroom is small. Since it was just me not an issue. 50 in smart TV, Wi-Fi, resturant in hotel, free coffee in lobby and the best free breakfast I ever had in a hotel. Would recommend staying here lowest price around plenty of shopping and eateries within one block.

Really friendly staff who are always available to ask questions of and get local knowledge. Rooms are nice and comfortable and kept at a comfortable temperature depending on what time of year you're visiting. Breakfast has plenty to offer and sets you up nicely for the rest of the day. Area is good with close proximity to the centre of the town. Most places to see and visit are within close walking distance, just be careful in the winter months as some of the surrounding roads do have steep hills and hold the ice. Plenty of good eating spots around the area. A personal recommendation would be a local sports bar just down the road and around the corner. Really nice menu and a must for Boston Bruins fans.

Clean, good breakfast, comfortable and convenient location to the downtown tourist areas of Tromso. Disappointed there was no parking and no mention of it on line that I saw when making the booking. Factoring the cost of parking in I would have been further ahead out of the core and walking in for meals.

It's a great hotel! Clean, big beds, a huge bath and a gorgeous breakfast! Coffee, tea is always at your disposal for free. I can't think of anything better. We'd love to stop here again.

Bedrooms so warm even with heating off and window open. Comfy beds. Some storage space. Amazing breakfast everything you could ever wish for. Sweet, savoury, hot, cold awesome.

The rooms are very small and you can feel that they are not very well maintained. The breakfast ist really good. The Service during breakfast was very friendly.

This is a modern convenient hotel. Nothing extra, and by that I mean nothing but rooms. Friendly staff, clean rooms and that's it. Located in the city center, there is fortunately a lot of great places around.

Loved the stay in this hotel. In the centre of the town, most shopping places and the touring trips pick up areas are within 5 minutes walk. The room was quite warm in winter. The staffs are cheerful and they take the extra effort to help you. Lovely food. We stayed here for three nights and we can’t think of anything negative about this hotel. Recommended!

Very good quality staff.

We were on our honeymoon in this beautiful 3 day hotel. Modern, clean and functional, very friendly staff, always smiling, super abundant breakfast both savory and sweet (cereals of about 6/7 different types, dried fruit, different types of bread, waffles, different sweet creams, salmon, eggs, pancakes, mushrooms, sausage, and a lot more. It is located practically in the center, close to the bus stops. I highly recommend it to everyone, it was a pleasant stay!

Breakfast here is amazing! Also very friendly and welcoming staff. The one downside is it can be expensive if you need close washed. My roommate and I spent 895 NOK (about 100 USD) for one load of laundry. But outside of that great place to stay.

Excellent location in the heart of downtown and walkable to everything, a giant breakfast spread (free! ), and a helpful staff for tourists. Highly recommended. For reference, we stayed in a simple double room with no special upgrades.

The rooms were nice, with a relatively big smarttv. During my stay the hotel was quiet and peaceful too. The breakfast offered many choices both hot and cold, and several pasterys. All in all a quality hotel.

Checked in only 1 hour ago, hereby I want really say thank you to the receptionist BRIGITTE for the amazing warm welcome, I almost feel like home.

Nice hotel, great location to start its tours. Very good breakfast and good selection also for vegetarians. Unfortunately the street in front of the hotel is probably also used as a racetrack for full posts. And the Gegröhle until the morning hours is also very annoying. If possible, do not book a room by the street. Wi-Fi is also hardly available on the 5th floor. Everything else is good.

I ordered in my mails time and again a spacy and quiet room. The rooms offered did not at all meet my expectations. The rooms were small and there was a lot of disturbance. There was noise from the room above me. The worst was a most criminal noise all night at the third day. If I ordered a quiet room, the hotel is responsible for what happend in front of my room and need to pay compensation. If they can claim it of these uggly people is their problem. Never again I want to stay at this hotel, the handling of my complaints was inappropriate, Lärm gab es die ganze Nacht durch Boote, die vor dem Hotel lagen, kein Eingreifen durch das Hotel. negativ Zimmer beziehbar um 16 Uhr Zimmergröße Frühstück Matratzen zu weich kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer Keine Info darüber, dass es eine Sauna und ein kleines Fitness gibt. Dieses Hotel kann ich niemandem empfehlen. The third night was stolen comletely, nobody felt responsible to do anything to provide silence. There was sofar no comensation offered. Very nice rooms. Unfortunately very noisy there right on the road. Apparently, the track is good for full throttle maneuvers of motorcycles and quads…

Central location. Good choice of food at breakfast. Friendly staff who seem to be very good at speaking English. Our room was small but comfortable.

The hotel was very easy and convenient to get to from the airport. Very quick check in process once we arrived. Room is great — not too small and beds are extremely comfortable! The breakfast is more than I expected and absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend Thon Hotel Tromsø to anyone!

Nice and convinient hotel. I would have rated it 5 stars because it is comfortable and stylish. My room I think is near to the staff rooms and/or cleaning cupboards. The doors are not soundproofed and so it's very noisy with the doors opening and closing all the time. The staff are also quite slow behind the desk. There are many options for breakfast which is good. It is also in a good location within the city.

For an American the name of this hotel is really unique to pronounce. Learned to say it like "Tone". There breakfast is a great buffet style with lots of options! Staff was helpful and kind to English only speakers. The room is tight and small, but it's okay for two people.

Was allergic against the main dish of my half board dinner and had to taste on its own extra separately otherwise no comment of the personnel order, no excuse,.
The Hotelrestauranr is by the way a "Egon" just burgers and fries, so to my knowledge never someone has traveled to Norway.
After the BestnWestern in Leknes and Thon Hotel Tromsø the 3rd worst place in all over Norway.
