Svalbard Hotels with a Parking

We spent three nights here and everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the location is great—just a few minutes’ walk from dark skies for Northern Lights photos—and the service is outstanding.

We had an amazing stay at Funken Lodge! We were there in September 2024 and spent 4 nights. The rooms were comfortable, food excellent, and staff very friendly.

Visited Longyearbyen in late August 2025 with a group. I did not select the hotel but was pleased with the visit. The check in process was easy and relaxed.

We had a room on the corner of the hotel so plenty of windows. Given we were there at time of the midnight sun this was good. Great blackout blinds for sleeping too.

We've just returned from a 6 night stay at the Svalbard Polfareren Hotel, Svalbard and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The location is superb. The airport bus will drop you off right outside of this hotel, so super convenient.
Very friendly and helpful staffs, they helped us ordering a taxi.

This is very hard to describe than a perfection 🤩 This is an absolutely wonderful hotel in Svalbard.

I stayed at this hotel twice, in Winter and in Summer! I stayed in the main building. I found it to be a nice hotel, with everything one may need in the particular area.

Staying at Coal Miners’ Cabin in Longyearbyen was a truly special experience for me.
This trip was a surprise organized by my fiancée, and sharing it with her made it even more meaningful.

Coal Miners' Cabins was our choice The location is great, nicely located at the outskirts of this little town.

Mary-Ann’s Polarrigg was a great stay — very clean, well-kept and everything felt really well organized.

This is a great accommodation with a close walk to town. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The common area was very cozy yet big enough for many people to enjoy.

Been just to the hotel's restaurant. Very good authentic food. Noce cozy lobby.

The apartment was perfect for our family. There is a large living room equipped with a small kitchen. It was warm, spacious, and very conveniently located in the center.

A decent guest house, very nice rooms, immaculate clean, spacious bathrooms, a big and well equiped kitchen. The staff is helpful, nice and superb professional.

Very clean and cozy. Nice walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants. Amazing and hospitable place!

Basecamp was perfect — cool rooms, cosy and warm atmosphere and delicious healthy breakfasts too. Its next to Kroa, so easy to grab dinner!

The best place in the town! Wonderful people and the activities are fantastic with super kind and friendly guides! Runar and Matt and Marta were incredible as well as all the staff in the front desk!

We stayed 1 week at Basecamp and do a 3 Day Snowmobile-Trip. It was amazing! Our guides, Heine and Mats-Erik, were absolutely fantastic!

Fantastic hotel, unique rooms with such a cozy and great atmosphere. We even got to see the northern lights from the loft! The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and nice. Excellent breakfast.

We were welcome with a big smile. That brightened our day when it was a bit gloomy and drizzling. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good.

I have stayed in Barentsburg on several occasions and each one has been superb. The staff of the hotel. Particularly Kristina and Dasha at the front desk. Sasha…Julia.

We had the best time at all of your Kenyan properties. Amazing food, comfortable & gorgeous tents, kind staff, & THE BEST driver, Bonny. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

It's about a mile and a half out of town. We didn't mind the walk but others may want a taxi. The bar does a fixed meal each night. It was lasagne one night and chicken stew another.

I came to Coal Miners Cabins for 4 night stay and it met my expectations. Staff was super helpful, knowledgable and reception open at all times.
