Stopped in to have a beer and stayed a couple of hours, lots of memorabilia, plants, very welcoming. And the penal bone collection is fantastic!

I recently stayed at Maryann’s Polarriggen in Longyearbyen and it was brilliant. I think it’s actually the best place I’ve ever stayed. Guests are treated more like friends than guests and the girls on staff go out of their way to help or provide advice. And they love to stop for a chat with a solo traveller! The single rooms are small but very comfortable and squeaky clean. There are a variety of clean bathrooms, one with a chandelier! The restaurant has to be seen to be believed — so stunning with all its plants and floor to ceiling glass walls and a glass roof. The best room by far is the common lounge — full of couches, lamps and tables for people to relax in at the dnd if the day. This was my favourite place to be in the evenings — just beautiful, like you are in someone’s ver welcoming home. I wholeheartedly recommend Maryann’s Polarrig and I can’t wait to return.

Very original, charming,, botanical in the artic, kind staff that gave Aurora warning, cool vibes, warm and cosy, unexspected, in every way a lovely place.

Amazing food and great service. The winter garden is a perfect place for the dinner.

Unfortunately very small single room. Hotel falsely claim Wi-Fi, but there was no Wi-Fi besides at reception. No value for money.

Very rustic and unique place in Svalbard… worth a visit or overnight. Nice food and service.

The rooms are a bit too hot and we had to sleep with the window open. Not a lot of choices for breakfast and quite expensive.

If you like odd and quirky, you'll love this place — from a cut-in-half polar bear to the most random decor, Mary-Ann's Polarrig serves great tasty food that will include whale filet and other things you'd nor normally eat. It's a little bit more expensive than other places in Longyearbyen, but well worth it.

The Most unusual place on Spitzbergen.

The food is delicious, the waiters are kind, the service is super fast. The prices are also tourist-friendly compared to Svalbard's prices. I can only recommend, hope to go back once again.

A nice place to stay. Clean and home feelings. Kitchen and laundry are available with chargea. But reasonable for place which things are quite expensive. Five minute walks to "Coop" buying stuff to cook.

The price-quality ratio does not exist, it has a "spa" not enabled (in winter), the cleanliness of the regular room especially if you are more than 6 days. They change the towels, make the bed and leave you the toilet paper, does not have shampoo or other details of a modern hotel is more like a hostel than hotel, at breakfast do not fill things up if you don't ask for it! That's bothered sometimes there's no bread or milk or eggs or coffee the yogurt and the fruit don't exist! The restaurant is expensive 39 euros an adult dish, children's menu 20 euros approx. The good thing is that the staff working there is friendly and has a kitchen where you can make your own menu and share it with other guests.
It also has a common area! Where there is a TV and library.

Mary-Ann is the best! The people there were awesome, the food was delicious and typical, the atmosphere is wonderful. What an incredible experience! Thank you again! ❤️❤️❤️

Great hotel, full of character, shame it's a little bit out of the way.

Great and cheap place to stay. Features washer and dryer although they do take a bit longer than usual to do their thing. It is a little bit of a walk to get to the town center though which may be a bit troubling in the winter.

Great restaurant, kind and friendly waiters. They serve also whale and seal meat at affordable prices. Highly recommended.

Such a feces! This hotel is so overpriced you might think it's a motel or hostel!

Lovely place, still retains the mining era barracks style design. The photos from the past are everywhere, wooden boat and bus gives the simple little tour if the past without leaving the hotel.

Came here for dinner after a recommendation from the driver from the airport. I tried the seal steak to get some local flavor and to try something completely different. I absolutely loved it! It was a great experience and I look forward to trying some more of the more unique dishes.
