Svalbard Hotels

Luxury at the edge of the world with incredible personable staff! Special thank you to Tina at the front desk, whose sunny demeanor made everyone's day.

Very nice hotel. We were surprised at the level of quality this hotel is. Very modern. Great ambience. Comfy beds. Large and clean bathroom.

Visited Longyearbyen in late August 2025 with a group. I did not select the hotel but was pleased with the visit. The check in process was easy and relaxed.

We had a room on the corner of the hotel so plenty of windows. Given we were there at time of the midnight sun this was good. Great blackout blinds for sleeping too.

We've just returned from a 6 night stay at the Svalbard Polfareren Hotel, Svalbard and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The location is superb. The airport bus will drop you off right outside of this hotel, so super convenient.
Very friendly and helpful staffs, they helped us ordering a taxi.

This is very hard to describe than a perfection 🤩 This is an absolutely wonderful hotel in Svalbard.

I stayed at this hotel twice, in Winter and in Summer! I stayed in the main building. I found it to be a nice hotel, with everything one may need in the particular area.

The review is only because of the front desk staff, cleaning crew, the breakfast crew.

We loved our stay: the beds were comfortable and the cabin contained all essentials, the bathrooms were close by and clean. The free use of the washing machine and drier was convenient.

Mary-Ann’s Polarrigg was a great stay — very clean, well-kept and everything felt really well organized.

This is a great accommodation with a close walk to town. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The common area was very cozy yet big enough for many people to enjoy.

This is a really special hotel and we loved it. It is in a great location in the middle of Longyearbyen, with multiple shops and restaurants minutes away.

Rooms are a Trappers Cabon style as is the hotel interior. Very clean and many different room options available.

Lovely stay at Svalbard Lodge. Great location, cozy and well-designed interiors, and that authentic Svalbard feeling you hope for when visiting the Arctic.

Been just to the hotel's restaurant. Very good authentic food. Noce cozy lobby.

This is perhaps the perfect place to stay on Svalbard!.
Great location, Great Rooms, Great service-and great Price for the Stay!.

Had a great stay here. Monina and Katerina are amazing. They answer all your queries and sort everything as per your needs. I will return to Longyearbyen and stay at Haugen Pensjonat again.

We stayed 1 week at Basecamp and do a 3 Day Snowmobile-Trip. It was amazing! Our guides, Heine and Mats-Erik, were absolutely fantastic!

Fantastic hotel, unique rooms with such a cozy and great atmosphere. We even got to see the northern lights from the loft! The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and nice. Excellent breakfast.

We were welcome with a big smile. That brightened our day when it was a bit gloomy and drizzling. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good.

I have stayed in Barentsburg on several occasions and each one has been superb. The staff of the hotel. Particularly Kristina and Dasha at the front desk. Sasha…Julia.

Phenomenal place in Svalbard! Great quality and fun staff! Best place to stay in Spitsbergen!

We had the best time at all of your Kenyan properties. Amazing food, comfortable & gorgeous tents, kind staff, & THE BEST driver, Bonny. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.
