Very nice hotel. Close to airport and yellow bus service excellent. Very polite and happy staff. Top marks.

We stayed at the Sudima for 1 night between connecting flights and boy I am glad we did! The staff were really helpful and friendly. It had an upmarket vibe, was very clean and we received complementary bottled water and Chocolate! The room was lovely and modern, shower pressure was great, robes were fluffy and the eggs Benedict was devine. The barista coffee was great too. We will be back!

We came here from Taiwan to attend the seminar, but the seminar organizers seemed to have postponed the date by one day, so much so that when we came on the first day, no one at the seminar was there. The hotel staff is very kind and offered to assist us to contact the organizers, and confirm the timing of the seminar, but also offered to provide the venue let us practice report, let us leave a deep and beautiful impression on the hotel, thank you very much!

Facilities were nice and clean with daily turn down service. Pillows were terrible (pillow menu available albeit with no guide on how to order) and needs an update in terms of TVs. Food here was great! Staff were very friendly and hospitable.

Went there for a conference. Location good. Great room with 3 screen. Food for morning and afternoon tea fresh. Lots of coffee/tea location. Packed lunch large, fresh and filling.

The place is nice and clean and would be deserving of more stars except that the night I stayed they were near full capacity so the only room available was $478 for the night. For that money I was expecting a very upmarket room, however it was only a standard room with two queen beds. It would appear that they took advantage of the fact that rooms were scarce in the area.

Summer Room air conditioning is not enough, and can not teach the temperature, to ask the tube room to take the electric fan can be more comfortable. Room equipment in general.

Stay offered by Air New Zealand. Hotel still smelling new. The staff are smiling and responsive. The breakfast is in the form of a buffet. There's a taste for everyone. The rooms are clean and we are not bothered by the nearby Fast Lane.

Great rooms and good service. Received complimentary pickup and drop as well. Continental breakfast slightly pricier, but goes with the location I guess. Hotel has good options in hot breakfast as well. Located near airport and connected by the hotel airport yellow shuttle, which runs every 20-25 minutes. Overall had a nice experience.

Enjoyed a Hindu ring ceremony here. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Food was AMAZING & catered for all with vegetarian options equally amazing. Wait staff were friendly & always kept you topped up with the finger foods as well as consistently making sure the tables were cleared from used dishes/cutlery & empty bottles. Definitely recommend for dining in.

First and foremost I enjoyed my time here but felt I could've done better elsewhere and for cheaper too but you never know until you try it Arrived and was happy I could check in whatever time because reception is 24/7 which is awesome! I became annoyed when I had to pay $300 deposit, I forgot my credit card with my husband who was flying in 2 days after and had only $400 on me cash, with nowhere else to go and 1 child who is exhausted it kind of gets scary because the guy serving us had no sympathy at all so I gave in and had just budgeted $100 until hubby flew in. We had the superior room and wish there was a fridge and microwave but I should've done my research more. The facilities were great pool and gym me and my son enjoyed both as that was where we were all day. Food, when hubby came we had breakfast down in the restaurant next to the lobby, it was a buffet and cost us $70 for two adults and one child it was amazing so much varieties for breakfast choices I very much enjoyed it. Lunch is what I had with just me and my son save your money and go McDonald's it was too expensive and no offence not worth it food was not nice for lunch not enough choices for the little ones either. For dinner I ordered butter chicken with a glass of juice and had it room services to our room for a extra $5, manukau mall has better butter chicken for $15.00 combo so save your money if you think about ordering the butter chicken altogether that dinner was $40.00 go elsewhere!

Great place to stay with friendly helpful staff. The food is fantastic and the rooms comfortable. Everyone tries to accommodate you to the best of their ability and make your stay an enjoyable one. It does take awhile for the rooms to be made up each day, in comparison with other hotels, but this is somewhat if an inconvenience rather than a huge issue. Fortunately the smiling staff do what they can to help. A great place to stay, handy to the airport and easy to get to amenities.

The Sudima is one of the very few hotels which, in all its sophistication and modernness, actually makes you feel like you're at a home away from home. Located away from the hustle and bustle of town, you will never have to pay or look for a parking. This was a dream for us. Being parents staying with three children under 5, the Sudima accommodates to even the littlest of guests, gifting our kids with the cutest Sudima teddy bears which they all loved. The pool was a dream — simple and consistent depth — which enabled us to accompany the kids in their floaters while enjoying also. It was very clean every time we swam and towels and relaxing chairs were always available. We had the privilege of enjoying breakfast and dinner on both nights we stayed and being a self — proclaimed "foodie", I cannot stress enough the quality and value of their food… from the Eggs Benedict that I finished by licking off the plate and dreamt of for nights after and the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with smoked cheddar sauce that literally topped ANY pasta dish I have EVER had (which, trust me, is many), to the pancakes that my kids could not get enough of (and were complimentary may I add) and the chicken tenders they finished for dinner. I won't list everything the rest of the family had — there's not enough room and no time for all the compliments it got. But it is definitely the new favorite and we highly recommend especially for families as they have something for everyone.

Dinning room meals expensive but there is no other option. Only 1 GB of internet allowed free. Shuttle to airport can be free or $6. Rooms very comfortable.

Comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Close to the airport without the airport noise. Water pressure in the shower was disappointing.

Admire the decor and the over and beyond service. Spacious and once you enter her you forget the outside world.

Staying at Sudima for work. Nice, clean and modern hotel with the main needs there. Friendly staff and nice food, which is handy when Auckland City isn't so close.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were completely accessible, as was the rest of the hotel such as bar and restaurant. The food was good and there was a wide selection of it.

Stayed here for work purposes, rely on the yellow bus to get to the airport and hotel to and fro. The yellow bus never punctual at its schedule. Waited today from 10:40pm to 11:15pm, that's more than half an hour of wait. Sorry sudima hotel, you should provide a better shuttle service, I haven't even mentioned the need to pay for the service.

This place is a cheap knock-off of a 4 or even 3 star hotel. No fridges (no minibar) in the rooms, very minimal amenities and cheap construction all round. Staff are accommodating of course but for the price we would have rather stayed at a more established hotel knowing the quality would be there. For example no toothpaste nor cotton ear buds in bathroom. That said their pillow selection service was great and unique & the breakfast was on par with other 4 stars.

Very friendly staff. Love the firm bed and the quietness of the room. Would prefer a walk-in shower instead of the tub, but that's just a personal preference. Very reasonably priced. Conveniently located near the airport and the business park where our offices are located. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good. Breakfast could use some tomato and cucumber, but that is just me. Will happily stay here again.

Affordable hotel with spacious rooms, modern and functional near Auckland. From terminal (door 6) there is a comfortable yellow coaches. Breakfast was very good and not expensive. If you want to reach the City Center (30 minutes) the reception has an agreement with a cab company asking $ 35 nz way.

I stayed at Sudima hotel for a conference that was held there along with my family. The service was excellent and staff are warm, courteous and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food is excellent too. We absolutely loved our stay there and if I have to go to Auckland Sudima would be my first choice hotel to stay. Highly recommended.

Terrible. Terrible. Don't go here. The staffs do not even have a basic attitude to serve customers. You will regret it.

Nice hotel, quite classy. Good food in restaurant. Bit pricey though. Happy about the bath in the room, even better with the bottle of pinot we bought from the bar. We did wish the location was closer to the supermarket/shops etc. Negatives; I did request a newspaper, but that didn't show up. Also when I went to check out I discovered my friend and I had to pay for the shuttle bus to airport when it had stated in my wotif booking FREE airport transfers.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel — initial thought was, wow presentation is great, clean and tidy but the service was horrible. I had booked for 2 adults and a child — yet we were only provided 2 of everything, 2 towels, 2 flannels, 2 cups etc — I had to steal towels from the pool room as there was never any one there to serve me at the counter, trying to get breakfast and dinner was impossible — never anyone around to serve you, I had to wait 15 mins to be served and by that time I just ended up walking around to find someone — same thing happened when it was time to pay. When checking in they asked for a copy of my credit card (which was fine as I expected that) but never mentioned they were going to take $50 off it! No explaination, I asked when checking out when I would get my $50 back, I got a very vague answer "oh soon" its been 5 days since I left and no $ back yet — I will be calling today. Beds were hard — pillows uncomfortable. Pool area smelled like wee. Rooms were so dry as air conditioned — no opening window, so woke up every morning feeling all crusted over inside and out. Won't stay again.

Very beautiful presentation. We had drinks at the lounge. My friend had to wait for drinks at the counter which took forever to be served. For the second round, we had to clear the table for ourselves to have space no one cleaned for us. Two drinks on and a good evening spoiled. We left for Holiday Inn and felt like we'd entered heaven. What a wasted gem. The presentation is Hilton class but the service is crap. Very disappointing. : — (.

We spent the night in transit. I would not recommend the hotel overall. It is modern and it is clean but that's were the positive points end. Here's a summary of our experience — 1> The girl who checked us in had terrible breath, I had to stand a few feet back 2> During the check in process she provided no overview of the hotel or it's facilities 3> I had to call the hotel from the airport to get details on the shuttle transfer. Based on the booking, my expectation was the shuttle would be waiting for us. Unnecessary confusion! 4> Then they wanted to charge us for the transfer — only when I said it was included in our stay did they agree and let it go 5> If anyone watches Gordon Ramsey's Hotel nightmares — they will appreciate just how hopeless the following incidents are 5a> The hotel charges fine dining $ with some meals $40 and up and thus the expectation is for meals of equivalent quality 5b> I commented to resturant manager, a three star michelin chef must work here (jokingly) and his response, "I don't think one exists in NZ. " 5c> My wife is a celiac and thus I was questioning the resturant manager about the food to find out which meals she could eat 5d> It turns out most of the food is pre-purchased frozen and reheated but charged at fresh and fine dining prices. 5e>I discovered this because I could not understand why Nachos had flour in it and why the potatoe chips were floured.

Stayed here one night en route to Australia. Was conveniently located close to airport. Made the terrible decision to dine in the restaurant; 5-star prices, Cobb and Co quality food. Neither of us bothered half finishing or meals. They offered us free desserts but the evening had lost its mojo. Retreating to our room we struggled to sleep as it was so dry; windows don't open, and they pump in that fake air. The whole place was very presentable and tidy. Overall, not bad, but not great either.
