Arrived back into Auckland airport late with our luggage still in Sydney, after finally realising this and going through to baggage claim our shuttle driver had gone back to motel. After calling him he kindly came back to collect us which we greatly appreciated. Great distance to airport clean and comfortable for a stop over. Friendly staff.

When we went the pool was broken and the trampoline and play area in the photos were taken away. The rooms are spacious however and I kind of liked that it was old fashioned.

Friendly staff. Mould in the shower needs a good and thorough clean. Mattress protector on one side stained and even the mattress not the best. The room was large and could be made much nicer with the right person fixing it. Good having a kitchen but when I opened the oven and warmer drawers it was horrible with bits off food. Shocking. Get in and paint the place. Very out dated. It should be embarrassing to the owner to rent the room I was in.

Excellent place to stay! Host couldnt be more helpful! Rooms have all the modcons! Nice shower n tidy rooms! AAAA++

We had our worst experience staying at this Motel. On arrival there was no one at reception for 10 minutes. The facilities were extremely run down and very noisy at night. On returning to NZ there was no one to meet us. When we called their mobile phone was switched off. When we finally got through they said they would be 15 minutes. Half an hour later we called again and someone finally said yes they would come. We were at the airport after a night flight with two children for more than an hour before being collected and they offered no apology. I am reluctant now to use a park-and-stay service like this again.

Extremely run down. Light switches poking out of their sockets, clean ish but lots of stains. Woke up with a sore neck and back. No hot chocolate … Shower pressure was nice and staff were friendly.

Value for money… friendly staff. Brilliant airport shuttle service.

We were given our key, although we arrived one hour before check in time, which was very nice of the manager. The room is plain and the bathroom could really need an update, but we are completely content, considering the price we paid.

Fairly inexpensive for a place with a big spa tub. Laundry service available. No aircon so it does get hot in summer. Kitchen those looking to eat in. Stingy with with Wi-Fi even for NZ. I mean 250mb free limit stingy. Front desk was helpful and accommodating. Overall comfortable, clean, and quick to the airport.

The man at the front desk was friendly but the room is very out dated and not kept very well at all. The pool was great and the kids enjoyed it and the cleanliness of the room was ok, the fan looked like it had years worth of dust on it. We would not stay again.

Not very expensive but equivalent quality. On the other hand the staff is extremely welcoming. Free Airport shuttle.

A bit dated but suited our needs. Had a range of kitchen equipment needed to cook for the family. We left items behind and they have been returned… thank you!

You get for what have paid for. Needs a bit of cleaning. Comfy beds. Amazing that they have a free shuttle from/to the airport.

We stayed overnight before catching a flight. It was disgusting. Mould everywhere. Chipped furniture. Terrible old stove & fridge. The only good thing was that you could leave your car ther and there was a shuttle to and from the airport. Even taking this into account we would not stay there again.

Stayed for 2 nights, in a family unit 3 children and 2 adults. Was comfortable, would suggest they tidy the yard/property up, even mow the lawns maybe and I would of given an extra star. But my kids enjoyed the pool and it also close to everything with not much noise at all. Could be a really nice motel if it actually looked like the photos.

Best thing was the airport shuttle. The beds were clean and comfortable but no mattress protector. Only 1 knife. No face cloths and the hot tap in the bathroom went across the back of the basin instead of into it. There was only one bolt holding the toilet seat on. Overall, it really just needs a good clean some pride to be taken both inside and the grounds.

Foul! This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty, had mould all over the roof, the walls were covered in marks. We booked for five of us to stay there and we're put in a room with only four beds in it. The cooking facilities were disgusting! Couldn't even open the oven door to attempt to cook anything. Pool facilities? Ha! The pool gate was chained closed, as was the guest laundry. And to top it off the customer service here is terrible! There was never anybody in the office, you had to ring a bell and wait for the manager to come if he decided he wanted to come down and then The manager is argumentative and rude! I would never recommend this motel to anybody. Not even for a night stay. This place isn't even worrh the star that I had to give it to post this review.

Nice hotel with kitchen inside… also offer free transport to airport. I love it.

Cleaners need a lesson in cleaning to a professional standard, especially in the bathroom. However beds were comfortable and clean. Complex was old and parking squashy. The driver who picked us up from the Airport drove over the speed limit and went through a red light. Scarey! It was a free service from the Motel but still needs to be safe.

Provide free shuttle service from airport to motel. Comfortable room. Attended by friendly staff.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago. Long hair on my bed from previous occupant plus dirty toilet and bathroom. 2 towels for 4 people. Bugs and spiders on my headboard. Parking space so tight shampoo is not enough. And its dirty. am so particular with cleanliness so wont be checking in here again.

Was ok. They were friendly. Rooms were large and offer good value for money. Not overly clean, but ok. Happy to leave car here while we're away, everything fully fenced and away from street. Free parking and free airport transfer helpful. Would stay again.

Have unfortunately forgotten to take photos. This motel was incredibly dirty. Without wanting to be meticulous, but that's not gaaar, especially for 125 dollars a night.

Airport goldstar motel is the worst place I have stayed in. The oven was old with tacky, the light switches did not match infact above my bed it was a doubleswitch, one with a switch and below that a hole, the beds inb the bedroom litterally look like they came from the second hand shop, the base torn and the other bed didnt have matching base and matteress. They didnt supppy flanels. The cupboard in the bathroom was water damaged with two different knobs and the bath looked dirty and cracked. If you need cheap accomadtion I reccomend you stay in a tent than this place, trust me the tent will be nicer.

The room's are dirty and small the owners are rude. Worst stay ever.

This place is not a palace, but what would you expect for $95 per night for two? The new manager, who had been there only one week when we visited, was exceptionally nice and helpful. Took us to the International Airport where we had left something, helped us find lost property, then took us on to the domestic terminal.

I have been all over the world and this motel is the worst I have stayed in ever, I would have rather handed my money to the homeless and slepped on a park bench at least I may have got some sleep. My naybouring room desided they were going to party all night and I meen all night I rang reseption a number of times and not only did we have a language problem but nothing was done about the noise until she rang the manager and that was 5 am in the morning. I got a phone call from the manager and all he could do was appolagise so I asked for a refund and he sead I have to ring his boss and sort something out, how many people are running this shit hole? He sead he will ring me back im still waiting for that phone call. I had a room for 5 people there were 3 coffee cups 2 face clothes 4 plates that dosent add up for me a room for 5 should have 5 of everything. The big thing for me is that people from all over the world come to NZ to see our wonderfull country and if this is one of the first inppresions they get its not a good start. Please stay away from this motel it is a shit hole!

OMG please, please avoid this crappy motel. I have never stayed in a place that is so disgusting, the owners are rude and the cleaner doesn't know what the hell she is doing. We paid as soon as we arrived or else we wouldn't have stayed there. The bathroom was disgusting with hair left everywhere, soap scum and mould all over toilet, hand basin and shower. Window sills looked like they had never been wiped down EVER. There were toe nail clippings still sitting on the bedside unit and used condoms not only under the bed but in the beside cabinet drawers. We called the owner down to complain and all he could say was that the room was clean and that his cleaner had to do it quickly that day because they were busy. We said that we weren't going to stay there at all and he refused to refund us any of the money we had paid. Owners never knocked, just walked straight into the room when ever they felt like it. We had to deadbolt the door to stop this happening. There is a large hall or church right outside rooms that has Samoan singers in it from the afternoon until all hours of the morning then they start again at around 6.30 am. How this place is still running is beyond me. They even steal supermarket trolleys from Countdown for their cleaning gear. Holes in the walls and doors, not even enough plates or glasses in the rooms for the amount of people staying. We later found out that they rent rooms by the day. You couldn't force me to stay there again.
