Nice Hotel with Bus Station in front of it. Interior is a bit old. Elevators are Slow. Air Cindition is loud, windows cant be open. Breakfast is good and has a lot of varity incl. Fresh made eggs any style. Nice and friendly staff. Restaurant staff was a bit slow.

Good albeit suburban NH Hotel. The hotel is comfortable with the standard NH room layout and design. The neighbourhood is quiet but somewhat disconnected from the city centre. The hotel offers buses throughout the day with the tram and metro lines being something of a walk. I often stay here for work and although I have not had a bad experience I would recommend more central hotels to others.

We were fortunate to have the room ready 2h before the scheduled time. Unfortunately the state of cleanliness was disastrous (task on the walls, doors) shower with mold and broken door. The next day the passage of room service did not even properly clean or even changed the cups. Desolate for a 4 * * * * correct bedding and very large and comfortable bed.
No noise.
Sports area + comfortable Sauna.
Dinner very good but excessively expensive.
Breakfast is plentiful but expensive too.
At 30mn from the city center, 10 minutes walk to reach the Tram, it's OK.

Spacious and clean room. The staff was friendly and there was free parking during the weekend. At 180€/night (incl. VAT and tourist tax) the room was a bit pricey and the elevators were slightly rattley. Overall I had a pleasant stay though.

Bad service, obvious willingness to spit money at the customer, the TV did not work on our arrival, not respect the hours of "check out"… So many reasons that for a straight man like me who does not stop at the superficial make the service unpleasant, a smile is good, the respect of the schedules is better!

Not as fancy as I imagined but very good. Service at the front desk was impeccable. Food 10/10. Room… not as modern and vibrant as expected but very clean and efficient.

Recommended, clean rooms, modern and cozy. It is located 30 min from the centre.

In the whole good, too bad for communication, because usually some of the staff speaks a little ' Italian… a little awkward, to go to the center of Amsterdam.

I'll tell you my experience while staying in this hotel. Located near the city, this hotel is cozy. In front we will see a rolling door to keep the temperature warm inside. Rhe staff is kind. The restaurant is clean. The food is delicious. The sunny side eggs is perfect. The room is clean and spacious. The Wi-Fi speed is not bad. Overall 9/10

Super Hotel, 1 star deduction as there were problems with the rooms.

Nice hotel, with large rooms (incl. Work table) ; Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and public is well-served in the city (approx. 30 min journey). Also the public parking spaces around the hotel are cheap and you get quite simply a place. In total highly recommended.

Trendy/chic hotel about 15 minutes walk from the financial district. Decent restaurant (as long as they don't forget you ordered a soup and just bring the main). Good selection on the buffet breakfast. There isn't much else around here so you'd have to walk back to the area near Amsterdam Zuid station for a choice of restaurants.

We stayed at the NH Amsterdam Zuid for a long weekend in the city. The location of the hotel is about 20-30 minutes away from city centre depending on whether you take the tram or the metro. The hotel is nice and good value for money. The common areas are beautifully minimal and relaxing. The breakfast is quite nice. The only minus is that our room was a bit tatty in places in terms of the condition of the floor and some of the wall could do with a repaint. Otherwise it was clean and very well laid out. Would definitely consider going back if in Amsterdam.

The room was very small, the bathroom was very noisy and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. At reception the people are not cordial, but I have Q say very good breakfast. Q I say the customer service NH in Madrid, fabulous.

We loved the hotel!
Very friendly and helpful staff. We were almost always served in our native language (German). The rooms are clean and very modern furnished. Free TV and Wi-Fi. The mini bar is also not overpriced. The breakfast was good. Something for everyone. Whether sweet crossaint breakfast, pancakes or scrambled eggs with bacon. Fresh juices and great coffee! We were very pleased and will be happy to book again. Thanks for the great stay at your hotel!

A perfectly adequate hotel when staying in the south of Ansterdam. The rooms are spacious enough, the bathrooms almost luxuriously so for the price. The immediate surrounding area lacks services but a grocery store and shopping mall are a 10 minute and pleasant enough walk away. The food quality is sub par in my opinion so I avoid dinning here and would skip the breakfast included packages. Not too convenient for public transport. Also, the elevators are slow so get your steps in and use the stairs and see all the entertainer inspired art.

Here for delayed flights. Very nice clean, modern hotel when travel-weary. Knocked stars for a little lacking of Gluten Free knowledge among staff and nearly zero Vegetarian options on the menu available to us.

Comfortable hotel. Food was fine too. Lots of options to eat out. Shuttle bus is very useful when arriving by train — call the hotel to arrange.

It was lovely and clean, a wide range of snacks and drinks and a huge bathroom. Huge breakfast choice in the morning too. The double bed was just two single beds pushed together with two single blankets though.

The best city I've ever stepped into in my life will be my place in the world where I live.

A nice, well maintained hotel with nice rooms and very friendly staff. We were received very attentively and all questions were answered to us in detail.
We liked the breakfast buffet, the access to the underground parking is a bit cumbersome. We would love to come back!

I was booked into NH Amsterdam Zuid after having my flight canceled. The hotel is very clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. Lunch and dinner were also provided, but felt a little inadequate compared to the rest of the standards of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and all seem to be multi-lingual. The location of the hotel is a little away from the city center, but transportation options are plentiful.

A hotel facing business accommodations, very good relation quality/price. It has services like bike rental at a good price. It is not a central hotel but it is a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station and by bike it is 20 minutes from downtown. Parking is available in front of the hotel and some restaurants in the area no more than 500 meters away from the hotel. I would recommend my stay at this hotel.

A little out of the centre of Amsterdam, the public transport is close and allows to move easily.
Clean hotel, whatever the floor of the room could be redone. Staff very friendly and smiling, accommodating and smiling (especially Emma).
The breakfast is served in the form of a buffet, although quite common, but is complete and of very good quality (fresh fruit juice, fresh fruit, eggs cooked by the minute and at your convenience, gluten-free foods, soy milk…).
Our room (superior) was spacious and the bedding spotless. Ditto for the bathroom.
If I have to return to Amsterdam, I would opt for this hotel again without hesitation!

Fantastic staff, clean spacious rooms, breakfast is a little behind the other 2 properties I've stayed at recently, but still good. The bar/restaurant is great. The internet is acceptable, but not blazing fast.

We had a nice stay at NH Zuid. We had the pleasure of being checked in and checked out by the very polite receptionist Thiago. He started our stay in Amsterdam off with a very warm welcome and finished it with his kindness. The rooms were tidy and with allergy friendly hard wood floors. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Connection by public transportation is good but also necessary. It's a bit off center, but the busses, trams and metros bring you into the city. Bikes could be rented at the hotel — a service we didn't use but might be worth mentioning.

Loved it, I spent my birthday there, very nice staff, the food wasn’t the best and the products in room were quite expensive. It is 15 min walk from a tram stop and it takes approx. 10 mins to get into the centre. It’s a good location for the price it was. Oh yeah, they have a super market near by so it’s real easy to get munchies or what nots.

Really professional hotel, front desk offered me a room early without any cost even when I arrived 7am. Room was decent and clean, toilet was spacious and had everything needed.

We stayed one night at this hotel.
Infrastructure: Public transport is not optimal because you have to walk to the stops for a long time.
Service: The service is very nice and accommodating. What is bitter is the deposit I. H. V. 50, €0, which one must deposit at the reception. The reason for this is the coverage of the minibar and other services. The contents of the minibar consist of 2 Snickers and 2 Flschen of water.
I find the 50, €0 deposit unnecessary, especially as a consumption caused by us would be significantly below, but a damage caused would be significantly higher than 50, €0.
Breakfast: was quite ok but no balancing room: modern and nice rooms. However, you cannot open the window.
Conclusion: For one night it is enough.

Hotel clean and decent but does not deserve the 4 stars. The front of the hotel is not very pretty. Some parts of the room were a little damaged. The squeaked parquet. The staff are very nice. The hotel is located 30 minutes from the centre of Amsterdam and there is a lot of transport nearby so no problem getting to the center of Amsterdam at any time. The gym is top. It is very well equipped. The spa room is very small and despite the cleanliness it does not make you want to go for a sauna. In conclusion, a good hotel with nice staff but not worthy of the 4 stars.

Great location in the hotel.

Nice, comfortable, clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern. We had an executive room which included an HDTV, coffee machine, safe and complimentary mini fridge. The fridge contained 2 beers, 1 small bottle of white wine, couple of chocolate bars, 2 bottles of water, 2 bottles of fruit juice. There was also 1 small bottle of red wine and some crisps in the cupboard. There was a good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. We didn't try the restaurant. The hotel is in a suburban area, twenty minute walk from Amsterdam Zuid train station. The 62 bus stops right outside and is a 25-30 minute journey into the centre. Or the tram is 10 minute walk away and 20 mins into town. There is some noise from the airplanes overhead but you can hear them in the centre of Amsterdam too so don't think there's much getting away from it.

An ugly block from the outside, but quite beautiful from the inside. Our room was really nice and the breakfast buffet really lush.

Decent service, which quick check in and checkout. The breakfast is also decent and what you would expect of continental in a large hotel chain. The best thing is location close to RAI convention center, 5 min by bus Or 15min by walk. Also very close taxi ride to Schiphol airport. Otherwise too far from downtown. There's tram going to City center taking close to 1hr. So taxi is best.

I don't give the 5 stars for the distance to the center (about 10 min to the tram stop and tram ride of about 20 min) But the hotel itself I can't think of anything wrong. To say something, an incomprehensiblely short bedding for how high they are there.

The staff is friendly and helpful, Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Only one thing I would want improving and that's a warmer feeling to the rooms. As they are they feel quite soulless.

A cleanliness that leaves much to be desired! A very unpleasant staff, not welcoming and quickly exasperated when one does not understand then that they are unable to utter any word of French as was announced on the site. Incompetent staff. In addition, a devador that keeps its mouth shut.
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel and I will never go back!

Worst experience ever, I arrived at midnight with my reservation confirmed and the hotel was fully booked. Very unprofessional. Disgusting.

It is far from the main transport links. It is to far to walk to RAI and not close to direct links to city center. The rooms had a dammaged panels on floor. The TV, bed and bathhrom were quite ok. The staff seem friendly by is really incompotent, They charged me twice for breakfast and that cused a lot of confusion during check out,, and I was not the only one with this kind of problem :0. For this price I expect much better.

We booked our stay via another provider. However upon arrival at the hotel we were badly received.
First of all the receptionist was extremely rude asking us for a deposit for services which we never asked for. As I said we were going to pay our city taxes in full and in cash he still made us block the small sum on my credit card.
When we left the hotel there were two queues and as I am heavily pregnant (8months), I was told to start the queue anew because other people were queuing before me (I hoped pregnant women had priority). I guess I was wrong. Overall as much as I love the Netherlands there's nothing else to do Dutch receptionists were rude. I think this is probably because my husband is French, however I am Belgian and I can only say I was appalled! I had never seen such bad services. The only good service in this horrible hotel was the cleaning lady. Who I may point out was definitely not Dutch however she respected our privacy and did the room in such an immaculate fashion. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Too far off from the centre and horrible staff!

An IKEA hotel. But comfortable. Far away from everything. Expect to travel 45 minutes to get into town.

Our room was very dirty, the wall was because of the dirt brown instead of white. The staff was unfriendly. We couldn't eat the breakfast because it didn't taste. For the price I expected something better.
