Absolutely disgusted that even in a world wide pandemic this hotel think it is appropriate to keep everyones money! The flights have been cancelled and we have no option of transport to get to Amsterdam! NO REFUND and No option to change to another date which we were more than happy to do. Shameful and I hope they go out of business as no one should give them custom!

The room smelled like 100 wonderbaums in a car. Asked if we could change room? Was offered a room that smelled of poo.

Last time we came here it was a building site now it's been finished it is a very good place to stay the local area looks a bit rough but the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Best Western, Voorburgstraat, Amsterdam. We were extremely disappointed at the size of room. There were no basic amenities like boiling kettle, proper toiletries, etc. On top of the small size of the beds, broken mattresses on one of the beds, my husband got infected by bed bugs and developed bad rashes. Does not do justice for being a 3 star hotel, as the standards of the rooms are very low. Breakfast bar was below average as well. I do not recommend this place for staying.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. They will steal from your bank account and not give it back. Worst hotel ever.

Clean, great service, everything worked properly. A lovely mural in the lobby made me happy every time I walked by it.

Firstly walking into a renovation site in the dark as we arrived at 8pm was a shock! The hotel is in an area that doesnt do it justice!
Sorry this area looks like a ghetto! Check in went well till we get into our room! Beddings are dusty, bedside tables as well! The bathroom was definately not cleaned up before we check in!
Its 6am and we are up as there is a room blasting music since 2am! Our efforts to get the management to find the room and make them turn the music down are in vain! We even had a receptionist come to the room and he stood there and said it sounds like a ventilator! How in the world does a ventilator sound like a boom box blasting house music!
For anyone making a booking to this hotel! DO NOT! You are better off elsewhere! Only reason we chose this location is its close to the Olympic Stadium for the Marathon.

If you are okay staying up at a construction site,, go ahead and make a booking!

Theres a number of factors I think that unfairly bring rating down on this hotel. The area it's in being one of them, it's certainly not a very appealing area on the eye, your room view will be high rise Soviet style old ugly tower blocks or the building site we had which is unfortunate but only temporary. The location is quite far from the centre but a short 5 minute walk to the tram stop makes it doable so not too much of a problem. It is a bit of a problem however if you'r…e going to have a late night in the city centre as trams stop at approximately 11:45pm so you'll have to pay for a taxi back. The room itself is spot on, very clean and spacious, nice beds, nice bathroom as well and plenty of room for clothes. The housekeeping staff were great, they always had our room clean and the bathroom topped up with shower gel & shampoo & soap. Nice bar down stairs as well and the food we never had but is on till I think they said 10pm. We missed food one night but a helpful staff member told us they actually take orders for a nearby takeaway and gave us a menu for us to pick food then they even ring up and make the order for you to be delivered to your room! Overall it's a good hotel for a cheap price, good staff just let down by the area it's in and the current building renovations it's under. But I wouldn't let the building work put you off it's not that bad.

Located outside the city center which can be difficult to walk down to the city. The hotel breakfast is quite rich and tasty. Rooms are clean. What I did not like is that they let the guests to smoke those "cigarettes" (which are illegal outside Holland) in front of the main door. Parents with kids and other non-smoking guests suffer a lot passing through that smelling joint corridor!

Good price. Decent room. Good size. Good Wi-Fi. Room service is pretty bad tho, had the same dead fly on the wall the entire duration, sink/toilet/shower never cleaned during the 5 day visit.

Okay so I have to edit my review I have spent more than 3 days in the hotel and here it is: theirs a bug that the maid must have swatted on the wall stuck on the wall that she left there — come on! That's something you'd expect at a motel not a hotel! Second, the only cleaning they provide is a TUCK IN of the sheets slightly not even changed! The bathroom hasn't been cleaned once. All they have done was take out some trash I neatly piled. Next, this hotel has no gym or sauna no extra amenities. The only plus side to this hotel is a nice staff working at the counter and how you can rent bikes. Please I do not recommend staying here unless they start cleaning up and they finish the renovations. The reason I booked a hotel instead of an airbnb was so I could have a clean room but wow I was wrong.

Good hotel, located near bus and train stations. Well maintained and the people are very helpful. Bus/Tram/metro (GVB) tickets are available at the reception. At the entrance you can chill with beers and some weed and sit for as long as you like. Inside the premises is non-smoking. There are 3 big super markets near the hotel like a 2 min walk away.

The hotel was being done up. But I went with friends and we weren't in the hotel much. New rooms are lovely and very clean and beds are comfortable. For the price this hotel is fantastic and only 15 minutes from central. €17 for a 3 day rail card that can be bought at reception. Staff are very friendly and try their hardest to help everyone and go the extra mile. Not sure why people are complaining, for the price it's amazing. When all building works are gone it will look very nice.

I wished I could have read all the reviews before I booked this place. And they are correct, the hotel is under a major construction makeover. But even though it is, I would not be coming to this hotel again because of several things. First all the rooms have no air conditioning which makes it unbearable during summer. But the hotel did provide electrical fan to give some relief. Second, there is no telephone in the room which means no room service to dinning or other needs. Third, your bedding won’t be changed on a daily basis. My didn’t got changed until I asked on the third day. They do change your towels daily but nothing else. Fourth, there are rooms built in the center of the hotel which means people can see you if you have your blinds open. I requested to change room after I found out I was assigned to one and in the middle of the war zone. And construction begins around 8am. Fifth, the room I had was on the top floor and had a water leak right between the two windows down to the carpet. If they don’t fixed this then the mold problem will follow. Sixth, the location was not very good. It seems the hotel was located near some housing projects which makes it a little worrisome if you return to the late at night. Even though the public transit are pretty good in Amsterdam, you still have walk a little from bus stop to the hotel. The only good thing which the star is for is the front desk staff. They are courteous, professional and patient.

Hotel Not too bad located (6, 7 km from the center, but unfortunately for us huge work was going on during our stay, so as in all hotels in refurbishment, dust, noise of scaffolding at 7am.
I leb would do "maybe" after this work because not great at the moment.

If you would like to stay in a "construction" rather than a "hotel" welcome to West Side Inn! It is a nightmare, don't book a room till this construction ends. The whole hotel is under construction inside and outside! Construction noise begins 7 am in the morning, when I said noise it's hammers and drills from everywhere. Maybe you don't mind to wake up that early (you may have an early meeting or you are ready to explore Amsterdam early in the morning) if you had a good night sleep in your hotel right? But this is not a possibility because your room will be a like a sauna (high temperature with high humidity! ) because there is no building coating (under construction and outside is 30 degrees something! ) and no AC in the rooms! If you ask the reception for a solution they send you a noisy but no cooling fan?! Also windows can't be opened widely and when you try to take a shower at least to cool down then the bathroom floor floods for sometime (because it's a Korean style open shower)! The only star is for the staff at the reception, they can still smile and try to work in this mess! Thank you West Side Inn you made our trip unforgettable! Never ever would like to come and refer your hotel again.

My experience at this hotel has been horrible. The hotel is under construction! We made our booking on booking and upon arrival at the hotel it turns out that the entire hotel is under construction. At 7 in the morning they begin to make noise that make the stay impossible. They gave us a room that was already renovated but the air conditioning was not connected and the door did not close properly. As soon as you leave the room, you meet with workers who go up and down. There is no restaurant, only very clear drink machines. This place is horrible and I think it will be under construction for at least a year. I recommend that if you want to rest, go to another hotel.

Arrive at the hotel there was a massive construction renovation going on. That aside we were. Given a room on a floor half renovated. Just going to list off some items we noticed. The carpet is dirty, the room is filled with smell pf the molds from the carpet. Internet is inconsistent. No nets on the window, no air conditioning, in summer days you either choose to survive the temperature of above 35 inside or letting in breeze and putting up with mosquito bites. Pillows are way too soft. Bathroom is a bad design. Great customer service. Good location to subway and tram. Rooms are decent size. Don't recommend to visit before construction is completed.

We tried to repair the hotel, but enough budget, in the room stuffy, the window does not open, the view is not on the street, and inside the hotel, the District emigrant, dangerous.

On May 1, 2018 the hotel was still under construction… Especially the facade that really does not want to enter. The interior is suitable with the possibility of eating a pizza on the go as well as other fast food. At the room level it is functional but probably deserves a refreshing. We were also in a room whose window (which looked on a scaffold) could not be opened. The air conditioning was present but disabled. Average hotel overall but the price was hot and the tram is close. Good for two nights no more. Parking is indicated "free" but is actually paying "nothing is free in Holland" told us the Welcome;-)

Hotel very well inside with good staff. But currently in work and a bit far from the center in a neighborhood where there are not many activities.

3 star hotel! I don't think so. Considering 50% of the hotel in under construction this should be a 2 stars at best. No need to set your alarm, the builders will wake you at 07:30!

Not bad as a passing site and the location is relatively close to downtown. The good thing is that you see the non-touristy part of Amsterdam around but being all in works and upside down it is quite noisy. It is frequented by young people and has a bar and luggage storage. For a weekend getaway I would recommend it. For more than a weekend or romantic getaway I do not recommend it, although when they finish the renovations I think it will be advisable.

A single construction site. Price/performance poor. Outrageously, that with a running, noisy, polluted construction site, horrendous money is gescheffelt.

This hotel does huge work… But stay open. It's outrageous. Work starts at 6.30! Do not book during this period. Crane noises of prosecutors brief a real construction site of major works. It's purely shameful to pay to be received under these conditions.

Although it is in works it has not been annoying. Good attention.
Just a complaint. The Marrano that sweeps the ground and with the brush full of dirt sweeps the tables next to the one we are eating in the snack bar. He does so naturally, as if it were something habitual. Pig!

Dirty, curtains are not styana, crumpled, hair on the pillow, a friend did not want to instill without 100% prepayment, despite the fact that the money for the room on the map were pledged by the hotel. The second time would not come back.

Had a weekend away for the 1st time without the kids. Turned up to the hotel/building site after checking the address 3 times. Walked in to a make shift reception. Booked in and went to our room 306 the smell of metal being cut, wires and pipe work hanging down from the ceilings and absolute freezing temperatures. It was like being at work. To top it all off we were woken @ 7:30 Sunday morning with with banging and ladders being dragged around outside of our room and builders… knocking and sanding the doors and walls. The doors to our rooms appeared to have been crow-barred off at some point with massive gaps between the door and the frame itself.
All of our party had been charged the full amount for our rooms prior to our arrival — we now know why as if we hadn’t have already paid we would have looked for somewhere else to stay without a doubt. The hotel describes ‘minor building works whilst they update their sauna and wet areas’-the entire side of the building was missing. It is an absolute disgrace that we were charged a full room rate. Work this extensive should warrant full closure of the hotel until at least a couple of floors are complete and ready for occupancy. Paying guests should not be required to stay within the building site itself. Luckily we were with great friends and were able to laugh at the situation — we would have probably preferred to stay in a tent in the tulip fields! Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return once work was complete.

Please save yourself a lot of money and don't stay here. Where to even begin; the whole hotel is a massive building site and construction starts at 6/7am so whether you're ready or not that's when you're waking up, often by the sound of hammers straight outside your room. There is air con but it leaked all over the floor and into plug sockets so we were told not to turn it on and given a fan. Scaffolding outside our window with workmen and people walking about (even late at night) so on a 3rd floor room we have our curtains shut 24/7. The star I've given is for the very friendly and helpful staff.

Although the hotel is under construction we stayed in a new comfortable room; Shower room A little narrow but functional; Breakfast OK; Friendly and staff available even in the middle of the night. The hardest part for us was not the start of the work at 7:30 but the disrespect of people returning at all hours of the night (music and Cris, note that a staff member intervened) ; Close to a tram stop (10 min from the Centre — 35 min Central station) ; The neighborhood around the hotel is "sad", everything is in the state of work but we just pass by to join the tram.

Just bad! On the hotel booking pages It is not apparent that I am currently in the renovation of the hotel. The rooms look disastrous! Our room had no window behind the curtain, but a plasterboard wall.
The photos of the hotel either originate from a planning for later, or are pure scam. The hallways look like a hostel that was abandoned 20 years ago. Our door has already been broken. She was still defective.
The fact that the hotel dares to offer such a room is simply frightening! You should assume that a hotel gives you the best room to present yourself. If that was already the best, then I'm glad I survived the visit at all.

Insufficient in every part. Work in progress noises at every hour. Bathroom on the edge of decency. Elevator that runs at alternating current and the stairs not to Norma (steep and with a gnome's tread) not cheap and 12 stops! Of trams whose stop is one kilometer. Wishes.

Normal Hotel, yes, there is renovation, from the street is very not presentable view because of the construction. But, it does not interfere. Checked in in the evening, very clean, new room, warm. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. I write a review to those who doubt the choice. I first booked this hotel, then read the reviews and waited for a nightmare, but none of this was. We stayed in room 373, was very quiet, slept and checked out at 9:00. At this time already began to carry out construction works (Infa for those who lately wakes up).

The hotel is a single construction site. We had a room with windows in the hallway, so it was not possible to open and ventilate. Wi-Fi was not available on all 3 days. Staff friendly but hotel for the money definitely not recommended!

Under renovation, very noisy and very cold. No tea or coffee in rooms. Once renovated it could be very nice. Easy transport links to city. Staff on reception were excellent.

The noisiest hotel I've ever been to. From 8:00 am, you cannot sleep due to the noise of the works. It's like they're drilling about half a meter from your head. Intolerable.

Small rooms but very clean, staff friendly and kind, noisy rooms due to ongoing work at the property.

I arrived last night around two and in Amsterdam there is snow (-2 °), as soon as we arrived the room was frozen, radiator off. Luckily they turned it on shortly after, but the real problem is the bathroom, where the radiators is not there at all! So since there is no bidet you are forced to take a shower without heating. Hotel to renovate and soundproof absolutely (the door will have 2, 3 cm of lift). Cleaning to improve. Very far from the center.

The staff is very nice, the offer is not outstanding (only breakfast, bicycles for rent, food on order and a pool table). As the hotel is currently under renovation, I would consider staying overnight because it is quite noisy there. If, then I would recommend to book something there, when the construction is completed, but who has no problem with it, can do that.

On arrival at the hotel you would be forgiven for assuming you’d come to the wrong place, this is due to the fact that it’s still undergoing major refurbishment. The room I stayed in was of a good standard and everything worked fine, I’m sure it will be a lovely spot once all the building work is finished!

The staff is very helpful and the hotel is very well located with respect to public transport. Enjoy my stay.

If you do not have the opportunity to spend over 100 euros per night in the center of the city, just outside about 600 meters from the tram that in 15 minutes takes you to the centre of Amsterdam Good clean hotel with spacious double room at about 60 euro per night.

Quite abelegen but with public transport in 20min in the center. Hotel just around renovation. From 07:00 noisy construction… no sleep. Walls very thin… you hear di neighbors as if they were next to you. Lobby looks very nice and inviting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room Total Okay preus performance also OK. Many teenagers.

In itself a great hotel, but we were not told that it is a construction site/was so that in the morning at 7 o'clock of drilling noise is awakened.

Scammers! The photos on the booking pages suggest a modern, clean hotel! The opposite is the case! The rooms stink of pee, everything is damaged and the staff is disrespectful, unfriendly and naughty. Only bacteria like to live in this refugee accommodation. I've never seen anything like it before. I am shocked and angry!
Bottom line: Filth, stench, incompetent staff, 2 nights over 300 euros, rip off!

Hotel in renovation But the new part is done really well. Very nice rooms and a very cozy lobby where you can eat up late even pizzas made at the time. Very well connected by the tram that is 100 meters from the hotel that leads directly to the city centre.

Far from the center and inside the normally warm large cleaning rooms every day the truth now is building around the staff good.

I've read reviews about West Side Inn Hotel, and people were mostly negative about the works taking place. Yes, they are making changes which causes noise disturbance, so if you are looking for a sleep in, maybe you shouldn't stay here in the next few months! The facilities are clean and nicely presented. For the price that's paid, it is great value for money. The staff are friendly and they offer a food service in the lobby. I would recommend and stay again in the future.

A nice hotel at a good price. The room was clean, well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Offered a lot of advice on sightseeing and was always readily available to help. Location is not a problem as a quick tram ride (about 10 min. ) takes you straight to the city centre.

Hotel in renovation. Works starting at 7:30 am so farewell sleep. In a city like Amsterdam we don't have sex at 9:00. No compensation as a function of insufficient heating, water damage in the corridors. The work is done on the entire hotel so everything is dusty, dirty and cold.
The bathrooms are obsolete, the water does not flow into the showers.
Small and uncomfortable pillow, tiny comforter. The hotel pretends to mention in advance to the customer that it is in renovation. Which was not our case. The hallways between the rooms are open-air. You see the sky through, the rain flows.

I loved it because besides that is not at all expensive the service is pretty good. It is also very close to a tram station. The reception is very good.

Renovations going on everywhere, can't tell if the room I was in was renovated as it was a mix a old and sort of new. Had a lovely view to an internal roof littered with cigarette butts. Some things in the room didn't work. Only positives were that the location is near a tram stop and the beds were comfortable.

One of the worst hotels i've ever had to stay in. Not only is it very far from the city center, so it was still undergoing repair work, the noise from which began in the early morning and stopped in the late evening. The restaurant is located in the basement and it is very inconvenient to go there. The rooms are all very "worn out. " At the reception is an "impenetrable" employee who speaks poor English and is "always right. " It is better to spend the night in the park than in such a hotel.

I have visited this place with one of my Indian friends. I stayed there for 3 days. Rooms were good but too noisy, I couldn't sleep whole night because noise was coming from upper floor. Hot water was not coming, we waited for more than 2 hrs for problem to be resolved. Toilet was not clean. Whole gallery was wet because of rain. Also the place was very far from the city centre. Staff was good and helpful.

At the entrance in front of the hotel. I have been contacted 2 times if I would like to buy marijuana. I didn't find that great. For the price of the room OK. The hotel is currently under renovation. Is more of a construction site than a hotel.

Nice hotel, big rooms. Nearby transport is 5 — 10 minutes on foot.

Rooms a little outdated and although not dirty, they don't look quite clean. The staff is attentive and willing to resolve any kind of problems. It is not close to the centre of Amsterdam but has a nearby tram line that takes you to the center, the location of the hotel is very quiet.
It has a large terrace where you can enjoy smoking a joint quietly.
My recommendation: Perfect if you go to Amsterdam with a group of friends or fans of THC and with a reduced budget.

It has slogans, gym, pool, movie room, foosball, billiards, table games and sofas to lie down, bar (I think it opened 24h as it is the same as the reception and that opens 24h). No one would say it's a hostel for the pints and how clean and careful it is. I took a four person room for four people with bathroom. Very happy, one as if it were box office for each one. An incredibly well kept and modern bathroom. Bunks with plugs, pocket to put things and keep them by hand. Lights on every bunk. Everything with a very modern look too. The only thing the room has is lockers, not a chair, wardrobe to hang shirts or anything. But still very happy. Repeat. Very central and very nice staff. Attentive and willing to recommend sites.

Nice hotel quite close to the center of town. Currently a building site but when its finished it will be lovely. Pool table in reception with some seating. Vending machines and a little shop. Lovely rooms and they get cleaned daily.

Was not a bad hotel. Not quite what the pictures suggested as it is currently undergoing renovations hence the drop in star would have been nice to know in advance there were building works going on! I'm sure it will be nice once its Finnished as the areas that were done did look real nice and I'm sure will be a nice hotel once Finnish ed. Friendly service and helpful staff. Easy access to the city and bike are available to hire from the hotel!

Terribly! Beware: The pictures on the website promise a new, modern hotel. In reality, you will find a construction site with some moldy, worn-out rooms.
On the first day we saw three rooms. The first was an imposition with clearly noticeable humidity in the air and visible mold in the shower. The second room was better and the last one was the smallest evil with the weakest fashion smell. In the bathroom were stains on the ceiling, on the walls and on the toilet seat.
The restaurant: In the entrance area there is a stone oven and a refrigerated counter behind a press chipboard, a 10, €50 pizza with salami, and comes when a lot is going on, unfortunately not finished baking from the oven.
My highlight was the vending machine with the Snickers, Twix and Mars ice cream.
The staff were very friendly at any time and endeavored, they also could not care for the condition of the building and the rooms.
When I emailed everything to the central office and sent photos as an attachment, we were refunded a breakfast.

The hotel is currently undergoing major renovation which dampens my star rating. I ha very stayed at the old west side inn and was pleased with the service it offered. The hotel is still a favourite of mine and I believe after the renovation the hotel will definitely stand out from the crowd. Even though works are taking place the rooms are still airy, clean and a level up from comfortable, even though next to a main road the Dutch have ways of reducing the noise from these and we could barely hear any traffic. The tram ride is about 20 minutes into central station. Amsterdam has so much to offer and as I'm now almost that regular I could be classed as a resident there is still so much even I haven't seen. I live Amsterdam, it always reminds me not to take life too seriously.

I had to rate it a one star, even though I feel like their heart is in the right place. The building was under construction when I was there and long story short it was really bad. Hopefully they can pull it together after reconstruction is done.

In the process of restructuring, the judgement is good because despite the discomfort we were well, clean room, friendly staff. The only thing about the small bathroom, especially the sink.

Excellent hotel, very clean, nice rooms, great value, food/drink available til early hours in the lobby (including awesome pizza), on the outskirts of the city so brilliant location if your riding (you'll ride through the park to get to town). Public transport access within couple minutes walk.

Convenient to the media feet and quite quiet despite the nearby tangential air. Moreover rest can not comment because it was impossible to restructure.

Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel is comfortable, construction work is currently ongoing however it's not hugely hampering the experience. Beds are comfortable enough but room lacks amenities such as a fridge but it's a relatively cheap hotel so I can live with it. Overall it's okay for the price. A 20 minute tram journey from the city centre so fairly convenient.

In restructuring. And you see. Helpful staff. Hotel frequented by young people but very quiet not like the hostels. Quiet and clean. He's old. But every day they change sheets and towels. Lidl attacked very handy. Tram 2 to 5 minutes that takes anywhere and AI can make tickets in the hotel. At that price in Amsterdam is fine.

The hotel is being refurbished and there are workmen everywhere. There is no lift between floors 3 and 4, nor from the ground floor to the basement where the breakfast room is hidden. The room could do with a coat of paint but the hotel is near public transport and near central Amsterdam.

Strategic position to easily reach the city centre with a tram, about 300m from the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms are not cleaned well, the breakfast is not included and the prices are quite high compared to what is really from the hotel. Also there are ongoing renovations, and cleaning the flaw not only in rooms but also in hallways, and just flowers in the hotel, was also spotted a mouse.

Away from the center… place at construction, and there is nothing interesting in the vicinity. Not recommended with children, and not advisable to get late. L.

We booked with a very convenient offer on booking. I have to say that, having regard to the prices of the hotels of A dam, it all went well. The location is not bad even if it is not in the center. The 2 tram is a 5min and connects up to the central station, with the possibility of exchange with other tram lines: almost links make sure the whole city. 10 minutes there is the metro (line 50). Currently the hotel is under renovation. The weak point was the cleanliness. The bedrooms and the bathroom nothing special. The Wi Fi worked bad in our room, unfortunately. But in general, the price paid was appropriate for A dam, and I was not expecting a luxury for sure. At the end one goes in the hotel to sleep, not to spend the day. Staff polite and efficient. In short, if the price is cheap and never look for luxury, but the place functional and well connected, you can do it.

The Hotel is a construction site. Corridors, Lobby and outdoor area are prepared so as to be able to continue operations. A real job! Anything to continue rentals in such conditions. The rooms are desuettes, the equipment has more than lived. The view on scaffolding, a maze of construction site to access the rooms, breakfast in the basement, emergency access condemned! Hair or whatever… in the sheets, suspicious stains in bed, on the walls, weird liquid under the desk brochures. An undrained bathroom has a shower, a wrinkled curtain, crumbled paintings everywhere. The tiles are dirty, the knuckles are rotten and never cleaned. The ground parking lot has 12 € 50 a day plus.
The mattresses very soft, but I slept well, the breakfast very copious for the price, the reception clean, a coffee machine and drink (expensive), the staff of good will and multi stains.
The pictures of the sites are more than dated in my opinion, the Tunnel of Light garden style non existent!
Access to the reception at tram tickets, very convenient, tram station not far. Neighborhoods around non-residential, see squatted.
To choose, better to put a little more expensive for a lot of difference elsewhere.

Obviously the stars are not assigned the same way in France and holland. The hotel is a bit far from the centre, but you don't have problems in catching public transport. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless.

A very good team in the lobby but the cleanliness of the hotel leaves a lot to review! The Archidegueulasse shower curtain! One of the towels still had makeup on the dirty walls and the ceiling of the bathroom with a bit of mold! 20min in transport to get to the city center so not very convenient for a short stay but for a longer stay it can do it!

Far from the city min 20 to go on a tram, but the money is worth.

Nice and modern hotel, great service nice people. Food right at the entrance and it's close to a bus stop. The only bad thing about the hotel was that the hot water was broken (it was boiling hot) and they couldn't fix it while I was staying there. Other than that, it was good.

The worst hotel ever I been. Generally looks ok, but the problem was that in all rooms on the one side windows was impossible to open at all (it's blocked) it was summer 2015, and the conditioner wasn't working as well. There was no air to breathe at all. Like in sauna. It's also bit far away from central station, so try to ignore this hotel.

So imagine the 2.5 stars.

1. It wasn't mentioned anywhere that hotel doesn't have ac. That information was just missing. Fact that made our days in the hotel just horrible. When we called to reception the answer was "oh we are working on that for a long time". When we called again we understood that what he meant is for couple month and not couple hours what we thought is about. 2. We got 4th floor that had a very old separate elevator that didn't have lights or windows, so we had to come up in total darkness. The two days that we stayed there we came up and down by stairs. At check out the elevator didnt work so I took my huge suitcase by stairs to the 3rd floor. 3. The separate elevator until the 3rd floor had a broken window, it was very scary to use it. 4. The clean ladies came in to the room without even knocking! 5. When the clean ladies came we said that we don't want our room to be clean today (we dont like our stuff to be touched), but when we came back at the evening it was. 6. Our hotel room had a horrible smell of baked food, but we couldn't close our window because there is no ac in the rooms!

Simple hotel in a quiet location. The Centre is to reach in 20 minutes by train. Small rooms, which seem although renovated, however with little quirks. We had a mouse in the room.

There was a strange man sleeping in my bed.

SUPER: Hotel close to tram to get to the city center! Apart from the parking of the hotel (paid, 12 5 per night) and the breakfast was rather poor and expensive (€10), room very spacious, clean, bed kingsize, also spacious bathroom (despite a completely furred shower head). In the end, wonderful stay.

The worst ever I've been hotel. 1. Was hard bitten by ticks, had to advise a doctor after that. 2. It was impossible to close the window, and staff was unable to repair it during 3 days.

Reasonable hotel for the price paid. Only the breakfast for Euro 10 per person (! ) was much to expensive. We went every morning to Lunchroom Grannies at the Hoofddorpplein, which is at walkingdistance into town or 1 tramstop away. Better quality for less money.

Intense mouldy smell in the bathroom, lock on door doesn't work (couldn't get in with the plastic card, so now we actually have an old-fashioned key, and one of the 4 beds we got is missing some legs. So it has a serious 'rocking' action. But Pizza in the restaurant is pretty good, parking and Wi-Fi included, which is more than you can say for a Marriott. I could imagine staying in worse places.

Clean room and a good rate. Nothing exceptional (good or bad).

Nice hotel, a lot of young people in general so hell night ps wasn't taking beef back evening disgusting.
