Nice hotel, very modern. Clean and good breakfast. The price is a bit high but otherwise it deserves to be tried.

The room was very nice, small but very functional. Huge bed, comfortable, room controls were fun to try out. Our stay was very pleasant. Shoutout to Mao and her colleagues, who were very helpful and wrote a super friendly note with a cuddly toy we ordered. They didn't have it in stock and had two sent to us by mail without extra cost. Awesome!

This is a nice hotel situated in the center of town. Breakfast is god value for the money and the have free bikes on a first serve basis.

Hotel in the city center. Modern and innovative structure, with domotic rooms controlled through an ipad. The rooms are very small and the view of the house is very pleasant. Very close to the Metro Blaak and the main attractions of the city. At the entrance there is a stall for bicycles.

Of the best brands you will find in hotels, especially if you are young in spirit and enjoy fresh experiences. The fact of treating every visitor as a citizen, customize the Welcome screen and entrust an iPad to every inhabitant to manipulate the entire room, is great. There's TV content, designer furniture, new experiences. They are the offices of Google made hotel!

Best hotel in Rotterdam in my opinion. You get everything you need in a really unique setting. Service is excellent plus the location is also perfect. Just a great basecamp for business trips or city exploration!

Very large and ultra-modern hotel. It is located inside a huge modern building. Management has tried all that it is possible to computerize. The result is self-registration through a computer in the lobby. However, the staff on the floor is still present. To see the guests were afraid to leave one on one with the program.
In an elevator, it is possible to pass only on the floor, preliminary having presented the card. The Nomara itself is more reminiscent of the ship's cabin. The bed is located across the room, head and feet resting against the walls. The third side of the bed adjacent to the window. But all curtains, curtains and nets cleaned automatically. The area is chosen as much as possible. The toilet and shower cabin are located in one combined pallet. It's worth a look. It is recommended to place the baggage in the bed drawer. Comparisons are self-suggested; The Russian person will understand; The hotel is very good. In general, somehow not very familiar and unexpected.
We didn't find any parking spaces for some reason. But the giant parking is right across the road, under no less grandiose, covered market.

Class Hotel. Employees always nice and helpful. I like technology, but here and there it gets a bit exaggerated and as a result it becomes impractical (self check-in)

One of my better experiences in Europe. Innovative, smart, progressive — a perfect representation of beautiful Rotterdam and everything you want in your accommodation. While the room are small, it was spotless and CitizenM makes the most of the small space by offering absolute quality within it. Accommodation is in a great location. Free bikes for guests a nice added bonus — definitely recommend the ride across the Erasmus Bridge!

It’s a quirky and unusual, boutique place with modern elements like smart room controls, self check in/out etc. Space in the room is small but it is smartly designed out to give you everything you need. The bed is massive! And amazingly comfortable. Many things might be confusing at first, don’t be afraid to ask, even though most services are automated the staff is very friendly! Very nice breakfast.

A new way to travel: a super cozy room controlled by a tablet. You can choose and manage all the things in the room directly from the iPad, lights, curtains, channels, music.
The room is not very big but cute and functional, the bed under the big window is very convenient.
The nicest thing is the common spaces where you feel just like at home.
Computer workstations and large spaces to share.
The design is young and wanted and the staff is very kind.
We will definitely go back.
The location of the hotel in Rotterdam is definitely perfect, practically next to the cubic houses and the central market.

Very modern room type, small and exquisite, very suitable for people who do not often stay in the hotel, up and down elevators also need to swipe, security has a certain guarantee.

I just like the concept of this hotel chain. The rooms are quite small and do not have a closet, but everything is well thought out for it. The bed is crazy comfortable and huge in size. I already liked the idea of controlling everything via the iPad in London, the lighting concept a nice fun. Special beautiful are always the lounge areas for guests. Great furnishings, different themes in different seating areas (eating, working, lounging). Good bar and nice food offer. To do this, the possibility to make yourself a little warm in a microwave in the bar area. Free lemon water! We particularly liked the hotel to lend bikes free of charge. So we were able to explore a day Rotterdam by bike. That was great. One can only recommend, just like this hotel. The location is ideal, a few steps to the market hall and the city centre of Rotterdam.

Great location, fantastic staff, fun albeit smallish rooms. Good value. Great sitting area downstairs and great breakfast.

Clean and beautiful, rooms were too small for me, breakfast was well-intentioned but not really good, overall not my hotel.

Modern, slick, clean hotel. Highly recommend this particular one and will try others based on my experience. Could of easily spent longer here and loved using the bicycles for free! Staff super accommodating and space enjoyable in one of the best locations in the city. Only comment I would say is cleaner never took the wine glasses away from the first day until the day I left which I found odd seeing the room was cleaned daily.

Good hotel, I got a decent price, right in the heart of Rotterdam, you can trip and end up in the train or metro station. Will come back if the price is still good.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It has many common rooms and the bar opens 24 hours. Among the less positive things are: the rooms are very cold and not cosy; With a noise level unfit for a modern hotel and the bathroom because I did not just convince myself. Breakfast is very but that very better.

Good location but rooms are fairly basic. Design would make you think it’s trendy and fashionable but I hated the bathroom: very clinical, cold, and bad piss smell. Luckily the breakfast made my stay feel better. Fresh bread, yummy yogurts and scrambled eggs :)

An almost fully automated hotel with self check-in and check-out procedures and an i-pad in every room to control the lights, tv, blinds, etc. It's very clean, the rooms are a bit small but very efficiently furnished and the beds are wonderfully big and comfortable. The location is also very nice, it's very close to the old harbour with lovely restaurants and terraces. In short, a simple but very good price-quality hotel. Perfect for city-trips or business trips.

Nice hotel, I never stayed in their franchise before. I like the humor they bring in unexpected ways. The rooms are compact, but have all you would need for a short stay. The wake up alarm is a nice touch.

My son is studying in Rotterdam. We came over from the U. S. To visit. Perfect location, Great staff, comfy rooms. This place really over delivers! Near Erasmus, Food Market, Blaak Station, Sincere staff.

What a great little place to stay. The rooms were a good size and a lot of fun with everything being controlled with the rooms iPad Mini. Check-in and check-out was quick and simple, the food was great and there a good variety. I'll definitely be staying here again.

We at first had a bit of trouble finding the entrance, self check in was a bit different but easy to do. Interior can be a bit too much since there are so many different things to see and read. Rooms are good, and are like in the pictures, shower is awesome. Breakfast buffet was small but decent. I would recommend this hotel.

I really liked the style. Of the place it was really cool and unique. However this was completely ruined by the rude staff. We were looking at the items for sale and they made sure to rearrange everything we touched! Tutting as they went. They were very obnoxious and you could tell they were talking about us. It deterred my father from purchasing anything. Totally ruined my experience. It was a man and a young girl.

From check in to check out we was as easy as tapping a screen. Manning your own door keycards is pretty fun and everything in to room is controlled by an iPad. I certainly had fun changing the lights and blinds and music but once that wore off we had the lovely view across the harbour. The location is ideal for exploring the city, with much of the bars and restaurants only a 10/15 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again and will try other CitizenM hotels now too.

Simple and stylish suite with some very cool amenities like a smart room control and a huge comfortable bed. Also, the central location really can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful interior and small but very efficiently designed rooms. Location is great and there is relatively cheap hotel parking underneath the Markthal. The lobby has so many nice seats and great things to look at.

The hotel is great, well located in the centre of Rotterdam. A very modern hotel and the rooms despite being rather small are very well taken advantage of, the huge bed and comfortable, I love being able to handle all the domotics of the room with a tablet… I recommend 100%
There is no reception, you yourself check in but there is always a person from the hotel to help you in case you need it.

Perfect Hotel to spend a couple of nights in Rotterdam. Small rooms but with just the right thing. Comfortable, clean and modern. The domotics in the room are amazing. They have a selection of movies in English to see at no extra cost.

The feeling you've got People going to the max to help you have a good time is simply fantastic. Thats how I felt at CitizenM. The room was fine, Nice gadgets, very functional. But the surprises they made because we were just engaged were amazing. Such a personal touch: love it! These people genuinely want you to have a great time, you feel it!

This was a wonderful experience! Truth be said, this place is not for everyone as you must be able to control everything in your room using a tablet. But that makes the room feel so modern and special. I can only but recommend this hotel. Location is perfect. Give it a try next time you visit Rotterdam.

Excellent hotel. Very well located, beside the "Cube houses" and opposite the station blaak, that connects you in 3 min to central station.
The hotel is of modern style, one, makes check-in directly but there is always someone to assist you, if necessary.
The room is also modern. You control with a Tablet the lights, (intensity and color), curtains (dark and light which passes), the Tv (which you can see varied films, no additional cost). The internet is free and really works… Not like those Wi-Fi "" which are just to say they have it but that anything they serve.
The staff is very attentive. The train that was to take the next day was suspended by a strike, and then got me an alternative by bus.
In sum, very recommended hotel in Rotterdam. I would without hesitation and recommend it to my friends.

Exceptionally good experience here. Very impressed with the style, comfort, and space of the hotel. Location is very good as it is right next to the Rotterdam Blaak train/metro/tram station. You can get trains direct to/from Rotterdam Centraal, Amsterdam Centraal, and Schipol Airport. The hotel is very high tech and stylish. Most of the rooms functions from lights, to alarms, to curtains, to TV (including free movies) can be controlled from an ipad on the bedside table. The rooms are also spacious and well equipped with international plugs and a very nice shower. I would definitely stay here again.

The Citizenm is centrally located in Rotterdam. The hotel is very modern and great design. The rooms are Schlauchartig and have a huge window front. The bed is simply awesome with 2 x 2 metres directly in front of the window. Everything in the room is controlled by an iPad.
I would go again in the citizenm.

4 nights in Rotterdam and in the CitzenM Hotel. — Location = Central, easy to reach, directly at the "oude haven" and close to the centre
Staff = friendly and helpful
— Parking = Best in the Park house "market hall" (5' foot) reserve on the Internet
— A — & unloading of baggage = a chore. It is a place is nowhere, where the car can be parked
— Cleanliness of the room = as you still need to take action. Although the towels were changed unnecessarily every day and also the bed after 2 days, fresh, but the prints from the predecessor (or was it the one before that…? ) at the window, and the same on the i-Pad for operation of lights and Blinds, have never been removed. Price = as far as okay. But if I for 4 nights € 480. — payment, furs, Park house, once again, € 85. — and then in addition, € 13.50 for Breakfast has to fork out, I get slowly but surely a thick neck. Tip = Breakfast starting at 09.00 h in the coffee at the East entrance of the Marktahhle, right next to the train station "Blaak". Nice service, Central location, fresh juices, good coffee, reasonably priced. In the sunshine it is worth on the terrace the hustle and Bustle of the city watch. Would book the Hotel probably.

Modern, hip, and what Aloft tries to be. Bed is comfortable, breakfast is tasty, but the furniture is all style over comfort. Everybody that works. Here was super nice though.

It's quite quaiant hotel, which you will love or hate. It's modern, mostly targeting iGen. There is automatic check-in, big community center, nice coworking place and very specific rooms. They are very economical, but with wide window, personal iPad and really fast broadband access. Good for modern "nomads" :).

Very modern, great decor. In the room everything via Ipad can be controlled. Despite heavy traffic, a very Central location is it very quiet in the cosy Lounge and in the rooms. The staff was very accommodating — we have us very, very felt at ease! Perfect sais citizenM! :)

The service seems very good. I have only had a momentary problem when the card for the door not me it worked and I had to make a duplicate. The site is very welcoming and the iPad for light control, tv, temperature… it is addictive.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Rotterdam. The innovative concept means you do check-in yourself for example. The room is cleverly designed and you can operate everything from window blinds to TV to mood lighting from an iPad Mini sitting at your bed stand. The lobby looks really great and cozy. Most hotel bars and lobbies are a bit sad, but this is actually a place you would enjoy spending some time. Near the train station, the famous Markthal and close to the rest of the city centre. Too bad the rooms do not have a nice view, but except for that this hotel gives you a more special feel than some much more expensive hotels.

The citizenM is a very stylish and modern hotel. The rooms are small, but we'll structured. Inside of the room you have an iPad to control the lights and the TV (radio, TV and on demand video). Will book again for the next stay in Rotterdam.

If you want to stay in a beautiful hotel, with a great lounge, a great view come at this CitizenM. If you already stayed in a CitizenM I have nothing to say to you, you already know this is a great hotel. The cameras are little, but everything you've been searching for it's here, Shower with different color LED lights, a great view in a enormous window. Good selection of TV shows on demand. Great Smart control of everything with the tablet inside the camera. An experience everyone should do at least one time in Rotterdam.

Very neat and modern furnished Hotel in the immediate proximity to the city centre (3 min walk). Very friendly staff, the all wishes of the guests arrives and always helpful. Price-performance is appropriate and can in the Stadtlageage difficult to be outbid.

Can't say enough about this hotel. I'm not one for brand loyalty, but this will be the first time that I appreciate and will look for CitizemM when traveling. The service is wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable, and I personally love the communal feel of the living/dining area that is intended to compensate for the rooms compact size. During my stay here, I unfortunately had an accident and broke my foot which certainly was stressful since I was traveling alone in an unknown area; however, the staff really ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay. I'm so thankful! Love the hotel, love the staff.

Nice hotel, nice staff and great idea to do it like this many times a feeling of a luxeorious living room. Good way to check in and out by yourself and always staff around to help you with checking in or out. Rooms are nice, good bed, good shower and nice to be able to control all by tablet and the free movies on TV are great too. Good prices for food and beverages. Close to almost everything and accross the street you have the subways.

Citizen M Hotel Rotterdam has it all! It's a quirky hotel. A bit different than the others. But in a positive way! You won't find a traditional check-in desk. There is no 'real' restaurant. And instead of a chocolate you may find a pluchen animal in your room. Like I said: it's different! Citizen M has a extremely friendly, helpful and multlingual staff. The hotel looks great with hip and functional design. It's has the most perfect central location close to sightseeing spots like the 'Oude Haven', the kubuswoningen and the Maas. Each room has comfortable big bed, a tablet, a great rain shower and a free movie on demand channel! Citizen M is also the perfect match for the city of Rotterdam, modern but with 'traditional' cozyness. Cheers Citizen M for the lovely stay :).
