Kupferquelle Resort

We had an amaizing time with you. The room was very beautiful, clean and spacious. The room had everything we needed. The property is being kept in good condition and you can see the effort and love being poured out. The restuarant had a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was delicious as well!

Great place to stay in Tsumeb. Bungalows, motel rooms or camping. Olympic pool! There is a convenience store outside the compound. A gas station/supermarket nearby (visit rather by daytime). One of best places we stayed in Namibia.
No speeding! There was a police speed check close to Tsumeb. The police asked for a bribe instead an official fine.

My wife and I both camped here and stayed in one of the rooms for a couple of days. The location is great, the service is hospitable, the facilities clean and well maintained. I’m not sure why you’d choose to stay anywhere else in Tsumeb.

I have stayed here at Kupferquelle Resort many times and always loved it. The resort is clean, quiet, nature but while having a futuristic feel. It is always nice to swim in their one of a kind pool in Namibia. The people who work there is vary friendly and will always help. The food is amazing and the Wi-Fi is free.
Defiantly worth staying at.

What a beautiful resort…! Lots of trees and lawn. However. The following was very frustrating:
1. The pool was dirty with lots of leafs. Looks like it was not maintained daily. The pool was also very empty (about half a meter below its standard level) … and this is substandard for a place that gets international visitors. I know it is winter, but some international visitors like to swim in our winter.
2. Wi-fi (although available and free) does not reach everywhere in the camp. It only reaches around the office area. It would be appreciated if this issue could get attention for Wi-Fi to reach all over the campsite. Especially behind the duck pond.
However, service is great. The resort is still very beautiful and well maintained.

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our 20 tour across Southern Africa.
This was our best accommodation of the entire trip. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Our room was huge and beautifully appointed.
The service here was excellent. We had a lovely welcome and felt immediately at home.

It was a great experience, with well-furnished rooms and great views. But Female attendees are not having good customer service 😒. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and well-prepared meals.

Very disappointed. Two members of our group had sushi and unfortunately both experienced food poisoning afterward. The venue has great potential, but the lack of proper management is evident and concerning.

The resort is beautiful upon entering. However, our unit (16) was filthy, even though two cleaners exited the unit when we arrived. The toilet was smelly, with very little toilet paper left on the roll. There was almost no soap in the dispensers available. We found all sorts of bugs and worms inside, including a black scorpion! The carpet hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the unit had a dusty smell. The locks on the two windows by the entrance were broken, and the perspex dividing screens were fastened with plastic. The verandas hadn't been cleaned, as leaves were scattered everywhere. We couldn't use the rusted braai. Photos have been taken of everything as proof. This experience was very disappointing indeed.

Had the pleasure of staying at Kupferquelle Resort in Tsumeb (Namibia) for a night, and what a hidden gem! Located just at the corner as you enter the town, it feels like you're miles away from everything once you step inside. The peaceful surroundings and cozy room made it the perfect getaway. Highly recommend this serene spot for anyone looking for a retreat close to nature yet so conveniently located!

We stayed here for one night during a tour on the campground.
Already for the arrival, we were welcomed by the staff with a non-alcoholic drink, what a sweet attention. Thank you so much!
Really nice campground, with a nice pond and ducks to keep you company. Very quiet too.
The sanitary facilities were excellent, spacious, complete and very clean.
At night, we were "sung to sleep" (or woken up, depending who you are asking) by fruit bats.
Altogether a great place!

Stayed here as part of our tour. Rooms were amazing. 2 double beds between us, nice shower, AC, water in room. Also had a huge lap pool which was awesome, and the camping grounds seemed nice and spacious. Only one downside was when I went to the cafe in the morning; I ordered 2 coffees and it somehow came out to $200N. After discussing it I was told that was the price, which is pretty absurd. Won’t let that change the overall rating, but it is very frustrating to feel ripped off at the staff error.

I was there for the restaurant. When people say the grass is greener on the other side — they were talking about Kupfer. It's a magical atmosphere, and the food is great but smaller portions. Oh and the pool lingers in that green abyss.

Despite initial promise, Kupferquelle's management left us deeply disappointed by reneging on a promised refund for a medically necessary cancellation, showing a lack of professionalism and empathy.
In more detail, de stayed at many hotels and resorts across Africa during our multi-month overland trip, so we were excited to recharge at Kupferquelle, which had good reviews and appeared to be a professional, welcoming establishment. We chose it especially for my wife, who had experienced a small accident, making it difficult for her to walk, and as I also needed easy access to medical support.
However, upon arrival, we discovered that our booked room was located over 200 meters from the main facilities, including the restaurant. Given our medical situation, this was impractical. We explained this to the reception team, who initially were very understanding and agreed to cancel our booking without penalty and assured us we would receive a full refund. Relieved, we arranged an alternative stay elsewhere.
Unfortunately, this is where things took a disappointing turn. Despite filling out forms and exchanging a dozen emails over several months, we had to repeatedly follow up, only to finally be informed by management—four months later—that refunds were against their policy. This was a complete reversal of what we were promised.
While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, we feel the management handled this situation unprofessionally.

Nice camping infrastructures, camping spot are pretty close to each others but we were almost alone. All sites are shaded, bbq and electricity plug.

Good small Grocery store and ATM next door.

Excellent service and customer care.
The ambiance and setup is great too, lovely deco and colours with both outside sitting and a cozy indoor.
Their menu is in the mid to high price range with a decent variety of choices to pick. I had their bowls, a BBC with rice. The meat was well done, tender and nicely seasoned. The rice was also cooked to par and the portion is satisfying. I got to taste their carrot cake as well, lovely, moist and fresh with not too much icing and for the price the size of slice was good.
