Tsumeb Guesthouse Kamho

Worse experience EVER. Booked for 2 nights. They showed me a room that I was interested in. Paid for it Fully including breakfast and come back later I was given something COMPLETELY different. There was no towels, The bathroom was dirty, The toilet wasn't functioning well. There were spiders in the room plus no shower head. I have to take shower directly from the shower arm. The worse part, there was break fast the second morning coz apparently there was "no ingredients" 💔 Mind you, I raised my complain but nothing was done. I was told they will change my room and it was all lies. I couldn't find anyone at the reciption even on my last day. Not to The Yoghurt were expired😭🤦 Everything was Suck to be honest. They said "We don't have a refund policy" When I requested to go somewhere better. Like this I have mentioned some 🥺 Poor service.

Tsumeb is a nice paradise I ever lived in my life.

A good qiuet place. Rooms are clean and got friendly receptionist.
Beautiful rooms. The shower water balancing is challenge that could be something to work on kindly but overall had a good stay.
Good fast healthy breakfast, compliments to chef.
Keep up the great work Kamho team.

The guest house owner is kind, however food needs a lot of improvement.

The location is safe and peace.
I did not really like the service. To talk about the it's so dusty and so small. Seriously unkept. OMG the shower, I had to squeeze myself to get in the shower 🤣🤣

Absolutely awful. Reception was a student (owners son) who had little to no knowledge of my arrival or booking.
The room was horrible. My first night there, the door hurt me, got a blue mark to show for it. I told the boy, he totally ignored it. They offer no cleaning services. Wifi only works at the reception. They have outside guest using their garden area at will, they drink and make noise for in house guest.
I I stayed for a number if days, when I asked when my room will be cleaned, they said upon request. Even after I requested for a clean up, it didn't happen. I would NEVER recommend anyone to stay there. Let me not forget, the shower is so dirty, I had to use shower slippers whiles at it.

2021 April experience.

Horrible.
The place was not clean, the room had dust, the toilet and shower were dirty. The taps didn't shine, just covered in white stains. The toilet itself had brown stains.
I had to open the taps with a carton because I received an electric shock, the shower at some point became blogged by I don't know what.
My aunt and I were very disappointed, it was not a pleasant stay at all.
I suggest the management should put hygiene on their priority list.

There is a few problems with this lodge. The place is very noisy at night. Too much coming and going of guests. One wonders if these are normal guests or could they be our sisters from the horizontal industry bringing in their clients. The noisy gate was opened and closed many times well after midnight making sleeping peacefully a challenge The linen, although clean, was slightly damp and one of the pillow cases had holes in it, having seen it's better days.

For the price we were very impressed with this hotel. The room was large, clean with a modern bathroom. There was a fridge in the room plus tv, tea/coffee and air con.
Breakfast was included which was yummy. They also offer breakfast packs if you are heading off early.
Wi-Fi very good.
Staff went above and beyond especially the friendly Phillipa.
There is a secure gate and parking.
Would definitely stay again!
