I was booked into Minen for a week. Had to facilitate different training sessions. Excellent facilities, service and food. This venue is an oiled machine, excellent staff, conference and internet facilities. A reflextion of quality Leadership!. We needed an additional data projector, which was arranged and available the next morning. I am very impressed!
Stayed here 2 years ago as a group of friends and again this year. Nothing much has changed in that time.
Rooms are small but comfortable. Bathrooms however are tiny. There is no secure parking.
Property has a restaurant and a bar. The food and service was good and we enjoyed our meals. Staff were super eager and helpful.
Breakfast was ok too.
Not many options in Tsumeb as far as accommodation goes.

We recently stayed at Minen Hotel, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing.
We booked a standard room and were handed the key at reception without being shown where the room was located. After finding the room ourselves, we noticed several concerns. The air conditioner was very outdated and positioned far from the bed. There were no tea or coffee facilities provided, and only one towel was placed in the room. The bathroom showed visible rust, and only one of the overhead lights was working, leaving the room poorly lit.
Water was provided in a 2L plastic bottle that had clearly been refilled by the hotel and was not sealed. This is not hygienic and raised serious concerns about guest safety and cleanliness standards.
Due to these issues, I returned to reception to request a different room. The receptionist informed us that we would need to pay extra for an alternative room. We were then shown a pool-view room and left there without further assistance. Unfortunately, even in the upgraded room, water was again supplied in the same type of unsealed plastic bottle. For hygiene reasons, I chose to purchase sealed bottled water myself. I also had to request an additional towel as well as tea and coffee supplies.
The restaurant experience was better. The waiter provided excellent service and was the highlight of our stay. Dinner was pleasant and the food was satisfactory.
Breakfast, however, was disappointing.
