Hotel Eberwein Garni

Ir is a classic hotel pretty outdated even post refurbishment. You will not have the usual level of services and comfort you would expect of a hotel of this category.
Most importantly the current manager, Heidi, is a very difficult person to deal with. If you have basic requests, for example to fix a light not working in the bathroom, instead of fixing it she will push back and try for you to live with it as it is…
There is no AC and no heating. If it is cold Heidi will just tell you to wrap yourself in a blanket while you are in the room.
Finally she will also badmouth you with the group you are travelling with because you give her too much work with such "unreasonable" requests.
Heidi is the most unprofessional manager of a hotel I have encountered in my life. I will never stay in this hotel again and recommend you to stay away from it.

Nice hotel in the colonial style it’s like time stood still really nice service definitely a good stay in town.

I stayed here 2 nights. The location of the hotel is very nice, as most of the restaurants are within walking distance. They made our beds but didn't empty the two trash cans in the room. They left the toilet paper sitting on top of the roll. The room smelled musky. All the staff strangely leaves the hotel at 5pm and locks the doors! They have a security guard that sits outside in the cold all night instead of between the two doors. Breakfast juice was mixed with water. A/c works best in lobby, not in room. You have to constantly log into the Wi-Fi. Porter was very helpful with luggage since there's no elevator. Young blonde woman who worked the front desk was nice.
