Lovely quiet location, nice sized rooms and with secure parking. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Our breakfasts were very tasty and varied with a wide range of choice. Unreservedly recommend it.
Very convenient and comfortable for a 1 night stay in Windhoek before starting our road trip. Short transfer from the airport and close to the main routes to exit Windhoek to reach other areas. Room was clean, warm & comfortable and the staff were helpful in booking a dinner reservation, taxi etc.

We spent our very first night in Namibia at Villa Violet. We very much enjoyed and deeply appreciated the genuine hospitality and the welcoming atmosphere. This can be largely attributed to the friendly and engaging disposition of the staff/team. The vibrant and pleasant interior design of Villa Violet also contributed to feeling as though we could really take a load off, put up our feet and settle into our three week trip exploring Namibia.
The Villa is located in Windhoek on a secured property with six double rooms.
The front desk manager, Maggie, kindly provided tips and information, answering any questions we had. Upon check in, she took the time to show us our rooms and the kitchen area, including the complementary tea & coffee available in the dining room.
One of the important aspects for me, personally, while traveling is keeping up with my running training. Maggie happily provided information about areas in the vicinity of the Villa where I could go running.
For our evening meal, we were recommended the nearby Joe's Beer House. We had the option to drive ourselves or use the shuttle service organized by Villa Violet. Due to our extended travel, we chose to use the shuttle service (50 Namibian dollars p. P. Each way).
At breakfast the following morning, we sat down to a colorful, decorative place setting. Each place mat was set with two plates, a colorful bowl and a mason glass filled with a medley of freshly chopped fruits.
