Fantastic location which is easy to find due to proper sign guidance. Stunning view of the city. Very friendly, attentive and cooperative personnel. Tasty food and a decent selection of popular beverages. Great experience esp at night!

The location and the view is incredible. The bedroom was a bit old fashion, confortable and clean.
I mentionned an issue to the reception officer and she solved it immediately. Even the manager, came to apologise genuinely. I appreciated the courtesy of all of them.
Diner was excellent also.

Great place. I had Kasselar Hawaii and it was absolutely lovely. The view from the is stunning as you get to see the city. Sunsets here are the best. Waiters were so friends. The prices for the food are also quite reasonable.

Waiters really need to be more attentive to time. One shouldn’t have to constantly call the waiter to take an order, to ask for something etc. Failed instructions on request.
I genuinely enjoy this place but what’s it worth if service is prioritized to either regulars or tourists only, while no consistency across the board as a standard. Or only certain waiters who actually understands what customer service is.
I waisted my entire lunch ending up leaving with nothing.

I stayed at Hotel Thule in July 2025 and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel offers one of the best views in town! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. A great choice for anyone visiting Windhoek.

Great rooms, terrific staff — they helped me change my date when our flight was rerouted. This is a nice place to stay when arriving in.

We had a lovely start for our first Namibia journey as a family.
During our breakfast we enjoyed the stunning view over Windhoek.
We had plenty of room in our familiy bedroom. The Kids enjoyed the pool and the bathtube in our room. We expienced a wonderful service.

The hotel is situated at a very great location, where the view is breathtaking. You look at parts of the city from another angle. The air is you breath in feels cleaner and much better because the hotel is build on a high hill. The friendly staff is more welcoming pon arrival.

Had an excellent stay. Unfortunately it was only for 1 night but it was an enjoyable one. Receptionist was friendly. The room was cozy and so was the bed. Room was also clean which is important. Breakfast had enough choices and the eggs are cooked fresh on the spot. The views from the restaurant area was nice and so are the sunset views!

Very good. Only problem — The hotel is in a quiet residential area and we stayed on a Sunday after touring Namibia and before heading to the airport. We were advised not to go out on foot for security so finally we saw nothing of the city.

We decided to go for dinner at their restaurant. The food was divine and the staff is very warm and inviting. The views are amazing at nighttime. We were celebrating hubby’s 40th birthday which is quite a milestone and he was indeed a happy little fellow.

Everything was great! The room was big and very comfortable, The manager was so kind and helpful! The view from the restaurant was amazing. I had pasta for dinner and let me tell you, I’m Italian And that pasta was delicious! I highly recommend staying at Thule Hotel.

We decided to have dinner on the patio to enjoy the evening and the view, which was everything we expected! The service was slow, food took forever to arrive and was not worth the price paid. The salmon was full of bones. Would have preferred a smaller piece that was properly debone. Patio furniture was uncomfortable. This restaurant is no upmarket experience!

We had booked Hotel Thule through Booking. Com but when we arrived they did not have any record of our booking (despite us having confirmation emails). Despite this, the hotel staff managed to find us rooms and went out of their way to help sort out our later bookings for our trip. The hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking Windhoek and the quality of the rooms and the food was very good. We were travelling with some guests that had limited mobility so they gave them a ground floor room, which was great. The only drawback was the steps into the restaurant. Overall we were very happy with our stay and very grateful for the assistance they provided us with as a result of the issue with the booking.

This hotel is on a beautiful site. Originally a family home. It has been upgraded to hotel. However it is a bit tired. Specially the bedrooms. Kind of old style.
It is owned by a trust which makes it a little bit impersonal.
My husband really liked his curry dinner.

A very fine hotel with a nice restaurant overlooking a residential area of Windhuk. Service is tip-top. The breakfast buffet is delicious. Sadly we stayed there only for one night. We'll definitely come back when we have the chance to visit Namibia again.

We spent a final night and day here after our Namib horse safari and it was the perfect wind down location. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was good and all the staff were warm and friendly. Wolfgang went out of his way to help us and even drove us down the hill to visit a pharmacy. An oasis of calm in a wonderful city.
