Not that clean, not that silent and not that cheap. The location is a must but because the building is not isolated you have to deal with the noise from the street. The room has AC but if you turn it on it seems that you have a 1976 Chevrolet in your room. Because of the noise we had to turn it off. We used the fan, it was noisy too but we were already in a survival mode. At the breakfast room there were a lady smoking. The staff that was there didn't say anything so we had to "enjoy" the toasts and pineapple with tobacco. By the way the breakfast is OK. Tea, toasts with butter and/or jam and pineapple. Regarding cleaning. It's OK but don't expect a super clean place with staff dedicated all day. We paid 17$ for a night. Compared to other hostels in the same location this hostel is doesn't worth more than 12$. Overrated, overpriced, overnoisy, oversmoky.
