Yangon Region Hotels

We recently enjoyed a wonderful family staycation at Melia Yangon, and it truly exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed.

The Perfect Coffee Break!
This cafe is an absolute gem! The coffee is expertly brewed—rich, smooth, and served at the perfect temperature.

Had a very good experience here. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Ayeschansan. She is a really good staff member who always welcomes guests with a smile and makes everything easier.

I booked a staycation at the hotel for my parents’ anniversary via the online system, and I had quite a few special requests to ensure the day was just right.

Excelsior by name, Excelsior by nature.
The building itself is first class — impeccably maintained, beautifully appointed facilities that genuinely impress from the moment you arrive.

Stayed at Yangon Excelsior during a recent trip to Yangon and it was easily one of the best hotel experiences I have had in Southeast Asia.

Great place to stay. Clean, great location, great customer service. Friendly, accommodating staff, willing to help with a sweet smile.
The view from 8th floor is incredible.

We’re satisfying with pool access taken care of Mr. Nelson & Mr. William. As well as to room cleaning team by Mrs. Htwe Htwe & Mrs. Nan Mimi Aung during our staycation which many thanks to all.

Five star hotel connected to shopping center and great location near downtown Yangon with a view of Shwedagon Pagoda.

Stayed 4 nights with families and we had splendid time together.
-Breakfast spread is superb good. Menu is excellent and changes Everyday. I want to give 10 stars for the taste and variety.

Nice Hotel mid of Yangon city, My stay was comfortable especially the Bed and housekeeping services. Rooms are neat and clean. I escape one day breakfast due to early morning flight.

After staying in a number of mid to upper range hotels in Yangon over the last 15 years, often for extended stays, Winner Inn is now my home away from home.

Omega! Beautiful sunrise and sunset will be seen from your room. Good vibes at pier roof top bar. 2 Excellent 😉 One night dreamed you along rangoon pier history. Rangoon Ghost ✊ 👁 👷💃🕺👼

The perfect place to relax in Yangon – comfort with a Burmese vibe!
This hotel is a hidden gem: super cozy and comfortable, yet full of authentic Burmese charm.

We had three weeks stay. The staff are so wonderful in every area. The pool was always clean and just perfect after a busy day. We dinned in several times and found a good menu for all tastes.

Really satisfied for our stay at Mercure Hotel because of great service.

I had a wonderful dining experience at the buffet at Novotel Yangon Max, with a great variety of fresh seafood, international dishes, and delicious local specialties.

The place was beautifully decorated with valentine theme for special dinner, and worth the price.

The hotel is quite nice and very quiet. The corridor is long enough for the people to walk in which is quite relaxing. The decoration of the hotel is very minimalist and overall it looks good.

Very large, comfortable hotel. First of all thank you to the wonderful staff, who always had a smile and so helpful. Large room, with both a shower and bath.

Nice hotel panorama, excellent breakfast 🥣 good,,, room cleaning area super.

Amazing desk staff. Ye Ying was as good as it gets in regards to assisting me during my brief stay.
Rooms are a bit tired, but very clean.

The hostel is run by students who live and learn in classrooms within the premises. The staff is brilliant, super friendly and helpful in any need (SIM card, exchange, etc).

The staff here are the best part. Incredibly kind and helpful, especially when you have no idea how things work in Myanmar. Helped me with a SIM card, cash exchange and all the best recommendations.

The comfortable accommodations, delicious dining options, and impeccable housekeeping services exceeded my expectations.

It’s good to be back!
Tharaphe was helpful during my check in process. Every detail was well informed.
Thanks to concierge team wishes me welcome back!

We arrived late and tired… Upon arrival our pricing was different than on agoda because of the new exchange rate on USD.

Our second best hotel stayed in Myanmar in terms of room comfort.
-Good spacious room with a big king bed, fridge, and water kettle.
-kind staff.
-large breakfast with many options.

A beautiful heritage luxury experience. The Strand Hotel perfectly blends timeless colonial charm with elegant hospitality. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was warm and attentive.

I’ve been travelling a lot this year and The Strand is my favourite so far. Not only because of the old charm of the building, but that the staff here are all super sweet and friendly.

I had a very pleasant experience at Kantharyar Office Tower. The building is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable environment for everyone.

Very pleasant place to be in Yangon. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home.

A very well established and delightful location. Good food and great surroundings. The Governors Residence is an oasis steeped in history.

We had a wonderful stay at the Governor’s Residence in Yangon. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel truly looked after throughout our stay.

Excellent place for local food. The avocado a tomato salad was exception, as well as the fired Shan potatoes.
The also support local crafts which are displayed around the store and on the 2nd floor.

This is a Northern Shan noodle eatery. It's very low profile. It is next to the COZ fashion shop. They are popular by word of mouth.

Very decent hotel in the middle of the historical heart of Yangon. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was okay (though if you come in after 9am most of the food is finished).

My stay at Yangon Thanlwin Hotel was truly unforgettable, filled with kindness, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Very pleasant place to stay (lived there for several years) : Service is outstanding — whatever needs to be done happens quickly, from sharpening kitchen knives to replacing dehumidifiers.

We had a wonderful time at this apartment in.
Yangon in September. The room was spacious, clean, and very cozy, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

A pleasant stay! We booked a 2 bedrooms unit for 6 days and the view is amazing from living room or bedrooms. The rooms are clean, buffet breakfast is good.

Naychi & Marco are both very friendly & professionals. They are always very helpful & 24/7 welcoming with a smile.

We had a fantastic stay at Lotte hotel on Valentines day, the set up was very professionel, with flowers Nice decorated tabels, the dinner and wine was very delicius… lovely night.

Lovely suite. Once checkin, I upgraded to club floor superior suite from junior suite.

The ancient and colonial energy is amazing and reminiscent of what Rangoon was in the olden days. The steel beams and spacious mezzanines are a great touch.

Nice and quiet. Rooms are quite good for its price. Too many stair is not ok for old people. Fair price and good place.
