Riad Zhor

Such a wonderful riad and the staff made our stay even more wonderful. Expect a dark, moody atmosphere and not your usual bright riad. We found it very romantic especially at night time when the courtyard is light by candles. As soon as enter the riad you smell the wonderful orange blossom oil that is burning all day long in the entrance. Isham was beyond helpful and kind. A real sweetheart. We had a lunch and dinner there and would recommend anyone to have a least one meal there. It’s beyond amazing food. Khadija cooked our dinners. What a star. The food is simple but the spices used in the dishes are wonderful. Khadija was kind enough to show me the spices she uses and told me how to correctly use a tajine dish. Will be forever thankful to her for this. It was our second stay in this riad and will be back there again!

The whole experience was fantastic. Lovely people. Very happy with the room. Comfortable bed. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We ate in one night and the meal was fantastic. I feel we made friends there thanks to Isham Amine and the lovely Khadija. Would recommend the Rhiad Zhor to anyone looking to experience the atmosphere of Marrakesh. Can't wait to go again.

Exceptional experience! Riad is absolutely gorgeous — impeccable design, great food, super friendly and hospitable staff.
Rooms are very cozy and they’re being cleaned every day. There’s no fridge in the rooms though, but we never needed it.
In December it’s around 15-25 degrees outside, rooms remain warm.
Food is delicious! You can have it served in the patio or on the roof terrace.
Location is quite centric, in the heart of medina.

We spent four nights at the Riad Zhor, as returning guests. The staff remained with the same kindness and helpfulness. They helped us to organize two excursions outside of Marrakech. The food was excellent, the cook must be kept at all costs! :) All of our requests were fulfilled, thanks for it again. Wishing to return.

Riad Zhor is a beautiful and extremely well-run hotel tucked away in the centre of the Medina. The staff offered great advice and were super welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend you have a dinner on the rooftop — very gorgeous setting! Couldn’t have been a better stay.

Riad held by hypocritical racists and who does not deserve to be given a good lesson especially the Thierry Vaulet an illiterate upper class.

Beautiful riad with oriental charm. Quiet and away from the noisy hustle and bustle with very friendly and courteous staff. The roof terrace is very large, offers a beautiful view over the roofs of the medina and everywhere it has seating, and sunbathing facilities. The cleaners have prepared everything beautifully every day. The food was excellent. Absolutely recommended.

A truly authentic stay in the heart of Marrakech. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They are really knowledgeable of the city and the best way to get to and from the Riad. Breakfast Is fab too, every morning fresh fruit, breads and cakes, served with tea and coffee. It is such a nice place to unwind in the candle lit courtyard too in the evenings with a bottle of local wine. ***** — Perfect Stay.

Beautiful experience at Riad Khol! Mysterious air and a refined and classy environment. Charming berber decorations with beautiful colors, lamps with soft light, candles, the water of the blue pool and the traditional fountain in the two inner courtyards, orange trees with little chirping birds, rose petals and scent of sandalwood. A wonderful terrace overlooking the rooftops of the city. Morocco welcomed us with a "thousand and one night atmosphere" and with a good mint tea. We were pampered and helped by the very kind members of the staff always smiling. Thanks to everyone, both the receptionists and the ladies.
Working in the riad. The breakfast was excellent and genuine with fresh products (the yogurt among the best ever eaten). Delicious and abundant dinner. Unfortunately our stay didn't last long.
