"I recently stayed at Riad Zara and it was truly the highlight of my trip. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredible. One team member in particular went above and beyond, helping me organize my entire stay and every single detail of my activities.
The property itself is stunning. The rooftop is absolutely beautiful and offers the perfect vibe for relaxing. I spent so much time by the swimming pool and loved the romantic courtyard—my room even had a private balcony which was a lovely touch.
The food at the restaurant was so delicious; every meal felt like a treat. One of the best parts was that they helped me book a hot air balloon excursion, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I highly recommend to anyone staying here!
Thank you to the wonderful staff for your hospitality and for making my stay so seamless. If you are looking for a place with great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and people who truly care about your experience, this is it! "
"I just returned from a trip to Mexico and my stay at Riad Zara was the highlight! The vibe is incredible—very romantic, especially our room with the private balcony. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the rooftop is easily one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen. We loved relaxing by the swimming pool, and the staff were so kind and professional. Highly recommended! "

Unfortunately, our experience at Riad Zara was far below expectations, especially considering the very high price we paid.
The first issue is that the hotel is significantly more expensive than many similar or even better accommodations in the area, while offering very limited services and facilities.
On the first day, Mr. Fouad handed us the main entrance key and then left the property. There was no staff member available at the hotel besides the guests, and no one was there to assist if needed. Even our room did not have a proper lock and key, which felt very unsafe and unprofessional.
The room itself was not up to standard. There was no TV, no complimentary water, and overall the facilities were extremely basic and disappointing.
The area surrounding the hotel also felt dirty and unsafe, which made the stay even less comfortable.
Breakfast was extremely poor and very limited — there was not even cheese available. Additionally, when we tried to request something, communication was difficult because the staff member serving breakfast unfortunately could not speak English.
I also asked Mr. Fouad about local tours, and the prices offered were nearly double compared to what we found outside the hotel.
From the beginning, we wanted to leave the hotel due to these issues, but the situation was not handled professionally. Paying €250 for only one night in such conditions, with almost no proper facilities, felt completely unreasonable.
