The Riad team picked us up at the airport which was great as its difficult to get transport. The 8 room Riad was on the edge of the Medina so it was easy to find it in the evening. Everything felt new and exceptionally clean. The staff were fantastic and organised a walking tour, a private tour to the atlas mountains and Khaoula made sure our stay was memorable. The room was beautifully decorated with a large bathroom. I highly recommend having a hammam at the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at Riad No5; the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are furnished very well and kept spotlessly clean, with all the decor and furniture in keeping with a local style blending traditional elements with some more modern touches (there is aircon! ). The Riad is very well situated, a short walk from the Bahia Palace and Tinsmiths Square. Jamaa al Fna square is roughly 10 minutes walk. In addition to transport to and from the airport, the team at Riad No5 organised us a guided walking tour on our first morning; the guide was excellent and he was hugely knowledgable about the city, its history and culture. Marrakesh is a very busy, bustling, somewhat noisy city; part of the appeal of a riad is that you can be close to the centre of everything, yet once you are through the doors and into the riad itself you are in a calm, welcoming space; Riad No5 certainly provides that experience. The breakfast was in the local style; though there are plenty of places in Tinsmiths Square that will serve more European coffee and pastry options.
Overall we would recommend Riad No5 to anyone looking to visit Marrakesh and felt it was good value for money.

I had a great stay at Riad nr 5. After a busy day in the markets of Marrakesh it was good to know that we had a clean and fresh hotel to come back to. The staff was really friendly and service minded. The heated up pool on the roof was very appreciated by our son. The traditional food served by the chef was very appreciated. Would stay here again.
