Riad Magda & Spa

Just an amazing gem! Mustapha was a great host, giving us useful recommendations and accomodate our needs. We stayed 3 days plus 2 (after a trip to the desert). We could leave our luggage in the Riad. Also we could print our boarding pass. Rooms are spacious and equipped with all essentials: towels, bathrobes, soaps and showergels. Hairdryer and aircon unit. You can book your Hammam too. Breakfast is simple but perfect: fresh bread, jams, sweet, coffee and eggs. It's located in a nice area, easy enough to find and close to main road (where to find taxi and pick-up point for excursions). No taxi needed to visit Medina centre, market and square! Recommended!

We loved our stay at this beautiful riad — peaceful, relaxing and great location — walking distance to popular attractions and delicious restaurants. Fresh and generous breakfast, and rooms were very comfortable with luxurious touches. Service from Mustafa and Amin were exceptional. Thank you!

Enjoyed staying here for four days, unbeatable service in a very beautiful "home". Two issues otherwise it would have been perfect… Couldn't get the TV to work. On our first day there was a beautiful lounge on the ground floor thereafter there were workmen removing the plaster from its walls from 09:00 to 17:00. Being old and living in Spain we would liked to have an afternoon siesta that was impossible due to the noise. Don't be put off though — a marvellous oasis of calm in the maddest of cities.

Absolutely wonderful stay at this traditional Riad. The staff were beyond helpful, incredibly friendly and extremely accommodating. The food was delicious, and the hotel itself was clean and picturesque. Located in a great area—near main souks and the big square. 10/10, I would absolutely recommend this to a friend!

Riad Magda — long on promises short on delivery.
We stayed here at the end of our Morocco trip and unfortunately it didn’t live up to promises.
Firstly we got hassled for the tourist tax that our tour guide had told them would be fixed the next day — on a 4 night stay. Our driver had to come back to pay it to save problems.
On checkin I asked if I could have a late checkout of 3pm — the manager’s words were “ you can checkout whenever you like”. The day before departure I saw him to clarify checkout time and I was told 12:00 was the best he could do because our room was required at 1:00. So we sat in the nice lounge until 3 — the room was still vacant when we left.
Everything is expensive here — after having washing done all over Morocco I estimate this Riad was 50% more expensive AND our whites came back a delicate shade of blue.
The staff were quite nice — especially the night manager — in fact he seemed to keep the show together.
Breakfast was a big disappointment after every other Riad — one could have yoghurt or fruit but not both; eggs were standard everywhere else but had to be requested here; it was generally a bit short on everything.
All over Morocco we we treated to complimentary tea and coffee — not here! We asked for a coffee while we spent 3 hours in the waiting lounge, and at the end we were expected to pay for it, even after having been guests there for 4 nights.

Location of the road was good for us even though not very central in the Medina. It did help that the staff picked us up the first time from the taxi stop.
Staff was in general mostly very helpful.
Room was very dark and cold, but clean and spacious.
2nd bed was the couch converted into a bed.

We had an amazing stay at Riad Magda. Many thanks to Khalid and his team who have been very helpful with any request we had. The room was great, facilities also, and the staff will make your stay unforgettable. Recommend 100%!

Upon arriving in Marrakesh for the first time, and being driven through the crazy streets from the airport to the Bab Doukkala area was an assault on the senses. Then guided down alleyways, we didn’t know what to expect. Behind ornate door 87 was the Riad Magda. What a first impression when we stepped inside. Beautifully decorated in traditional style, the chaos of the streets outside could be a million miles away. The plunge pool is divine, and the roof terrace a great place to soak up some sun.
Only a 20min walk from Jaama El Fna (Big Square), it’s a great location. 10 min walk to the central Souks.
The staff are amazing, the rooms comfortable and spacious. Khalid on reception sorted out our excursions and transfers, and the in-house hammam and 50min massage were well worth the money.
Would definitely recommend this Riad and one day hope to return.
