Such a perfect stay! I had been touring with a big group and ended with three days at the Riad. Lovely antidote to large chain hotels. My room was clean and comfortable and I spent quiet time in the little pool stretching my weary body and on the terrace soaking in the sun. Breakfast was perfect — good selection and plentiful but not overwhelming like big hotel buffets. Hot air balloon recommendations led to an amazing adventure with a company that delivered flawless service. Aziz was an amazing host — I even got a short ride on his motorbike when I needed to get quickly to an activity pickup. Such a rush! We didn't crash into any donkeys or other bikes or kids heading to school!
I just went through this beautiful place because I needed a stable Wi-Fi connection for a minute and I found there the most kind and attentive person I met in Marrakesh. Thank you very much for your loving presence Rachid 🙏🏼♥️
I know where to go if I ever come back to Marrakech.

Two of us stayed at Riad La Rose D’orient for two nights, 31/10/25–2/11/25.
Location.
The riad is about an 18-minute walk east of the Jeema el-Fina square at the centre of the souks. It’s on a quiet road away from the noise, but within about four minutes you reach the edge of the busy streets and find yourself among locals and tourists. The area felt safe, with children playing late at night and good lighting along the paths. I liked being able to step out of the souks and have some peace, and the walk never felt like a burden. Walking through the souks towards the square can be slow due to crowds and motorbikes in the narrow alleys, but that’s an aspect of Marrakesh itself rather than the riad and something you’ll experience wherever you stay.
The riad is easy to find. Before arrival the hosts messaged us, arranging a private airport transfer. They met us with a sign, and although the €20 cost is slightly higher than taxis or other transfers, it was convenient and perfectly fine.
The hosts.
The riad is run by two people who are incredibly kind and hospitable. We were warmly welcomed, met on the road, and led inside. We were given mint tea while filling in the tourism form, then shown a map of Marrakesh and given an introduction to the city and main attractions. The hosts were always available, offering mint tea, bottled water, and help whenever needed.
I mentioned my girlfriend’s birthday in the booking, and our room had balloons, decorations, and rose petals on arrival.
