We had high hopes for this stay, but left feeling really disappointed and felt it wasn't worth the money. The property has great potential, with a gorgeous pool and very kind staff in the restaurant, but it was let down by rude reception staff and loud dogs.
Our issues started with poor communication on booking. Com, when I asked to confirm our check in time I got the response "subject to availability". They ignored messages asking for help organising a taxi and ignored a message directly through their website asking for information about the spa on site.
The check in time was later accepted, but when we arrived there was no one at reception. It took ten minutes of waiting then having to find someone to be able to check in. The reception staff did not even greet us, and we didn't get much information. The process felt cold and as if we were an inconvenience to them. We were then offered a welcome drink in our room, which they forgot and after half an hour we had to ask for at the reception. This was the start of requests often being forgotten and us having to find someone to ask about it.
We had further issues when checking out, as despite knowing our check out time there was again no one there. We had made the mistake of organising a taxi through them, which was 20 minutes late. In this time I had to find someone twice to ask, and didn't receive an apology let alone a thank you or goodbye.
We chose not to use the spa during our stay due to the customer service.
